Started to love the show..

Lead pairs are good.. They have good chemistry too..

Too many evil characters.. but hero Karthik comes to save Semba in any situation which is nice to watch.

Well.. VijayTV is coming up with many new shows in past few months.. On and Off, I've been watching Neeli and Lakshmi Kalyanam.. So decided not to start up with another one.. Also as everyone pointed out, a big villain koottam and abusing shown in the promos though the leads looks promising and good together..

But to my surprise, my sister who stopped following tamil serials after KKK, started watching it.. And now I'm IN too 😳

Happy to see few friends from other shows and some new ones here.. Will visit this section whenever possible..

Weird episode... I dont think anyone would treat a maid like this... Parents are brainless and clueless as all these things are happening in front of their eyes and they still act as though nothing has happened 😕😕😕

About the Cast :

Leads:

Sanjeev was also a participant in Maanaada Mayilaada season.. I think he won.. Only after which he acted in Kulir 100 degree and few other films.. Heroine looks familiar face but new to me.. someone here said she is from MM..

Both fit their role and doing a good job so far 👍🏼

Siblings: All selfish ppl except the younger sister.. Both brothers are hen-pecked husbands..

Sridevi as 1st daughter in law, it's her cup of tea.. Easy for her to do this role..

Actually I'm liking the 2nd daughter in law.. not the character.. I mean looks (muttai kannu) and the way she talks. the puff blouse suits her..

Eashwar.. don't know why.. I hate seeing him on screen.. but it's okay.. he seems to play subtle here.. don't know how it'll go..

Karthik (Aravind of KMKV).. again a baddie guy here as well..

Eldest brother: This guy has been in television for many years I think.. his makeover here is horrible.. that spike hairdo (firehead) and chinkcha color dresses.. kodumai

Elder sister: I doubt is she real daughter of them.. No reaction from her when both Daughter-in-laws abuses her parents as 'perusunga'.. she keeps mum and goes behind money.. her husband seems to be good I think.. appappo he taunts about their fake affection only for the sake of money

Younger Sister: the only one who feels for Semba and kind towards her.. looks promising.. haven't watched Mappillai.. so she is new to me..

Parents: Actress Rajalakshmi & the one who plays father character also are well experienced actors.. Here in this serial, I would say these two are the most dumbest.. believing everyone to be good and couldn't see the fakeness in the care shown by them..

Chithappaa: Yes.. he is a famous stage singer who mostly sings SPB songs.. he is singer Srilekha Parthasarathy's husband.. Atleast he is aware of the mindset of the family members..

About the over makeup and dressing.. I think they're trying to match it with hindi serial actresses..

Also heard that it's a remake of hindi show Ek tha Raja Ek thi Rani not sure though

The parents keep on saying that Shenba is like their daughter and that they owe everything to her father but they still keep her as a maid. Even if they are nicer to her than the rest of the family they are still viewing her as below them. If they really owed everything to her family they should at least educate her or let her work somewhere she like she or atleast let her have the same freedom as the other children.
