Chitra gives nose cut to Ram and Priya
Seetha crying while Chitra puts her arm around Seetha. Patti happy to see Chitra supporting Seetha. Ram shouts Seetha did lottery business and cheated everyone and ended up in police station. Chitra says she knows the truth and tells the flashback. 👏
Bhanumathy and Priya giving money to Kanchana for lottery business...receiving money...newspaper saying Kanchana and Nallathamby escaped...Sundaram arrested and scolded by townspeople...
Seetha crying and tells Chitra about Sundaram in jail and Chitra gives her money to bail Sundaram out. Seetha says thank you...Chitra smiles.
Back to present Ram keeps shouting that it does not matter whether Seetha did anything wrong but now he is embarrassed because of this. He screams that he hates Seetha and wants her to leave. Chitra asks what right do you have to tell Seetha to leave. Ram starts to say that Seetha is his wife but stops halfway. Patti is happy that Ram accepts Seetha as his wife while Chitra scolds Ram and says you have to accept Seetha as your wife and not call her your wife and torture her. And she says you don't know how treat Seetha well, how can you send her out? Patti is happy to hear this.
Ram with nothing more to say leaves in anger. Chitra turns to Sumithra and says you too believed Seetha took your jewellery...Sumithra tries to say no. Chitra says it is Priya who actually took Sumithra's jewellery. All shocked. Chitra brings Priya and asks her to confess. Priya agrees and cries to Sumithra sorry she didn't mean to take it but Bhanumathy asked to help if not she will die. Priya says it is her duty to help her parents so she took it but says she is not a thief and says she will accept any punishment. Sumithra says if you needed help, I would have done for you. Priya says she didn't think about that as she was in a hurry. Sumithra's husband and Chitra's husband tells Priya OK you have regretted for your mistakes, don't do it again.
Chitra angrily asks Priya that it's her and Bhanumathy's fault that the money was lost and yet they sold the Chakravarthy family gold for money. Chitra's husband says Priya has already asked for forgiveness so let's forgive. Everyone leaves. Chitra tells Seetha not to cry. Patti says she is lucky to have Chitra as her daughter-in-law but Chitra says there must be justice in this house and if someone hurts Seetha she won't be quiet.
All go except Priya and Ravi who stand separately...😕
