i cn understand that soccer fever is on a high at south africa..but being from a cricket-crazy nation lyk india....it feels really nyc 2 have a xclusive thread for the FIFA world cup..

germany all the way.. i love ballack.. bt will miss him badly in dis world cup. i m pretty sure germans will play well.. all the best germany..

Thanks SO much for this thread!!!! I've even been waiting for 4 years for this!!!!!
I HOPE england win as i'm from there but spain play good, so I don't mind them winning!!! I REALLY don't wan portugal to win-ronaldo's lost that magic that he used to have and they decide to cheat their way to win even though it means they fall flat on their faces lol!!!!
Rio Ferdinand's recent injury is my biggest disappointment as he's one of the best defenders in the world and its a shame what happened to ballack and rogba!!! Looking out for rooney, gerrard, lampard, torres, messi, fabregas, kaka and villa!!!! Its great that its in south africa as that's where my dad was born and some of my family are there!!!!

i hope the usa wins. i know the usa players have a goal to just get out of the group stage. but they look pretty ok. they might put a good contest against england and be a big upset. go usa!

I am hardcore Germany fan. Love them with all my heart. They are going through a lot right now. Even Ballack is not playing 😭😭 I have faith in my Lahm though.

Keeping serious eyes on Spain. I love Torres, Villa and Fabregas!!! Casiallas is also amazing

For other teams we can not forget England this year. Ivory coast is also strong thanks to player like Drogba.

Also looking forward to watching Messi play for Argentina and Kaka for Brazil.
