Neha was searching for more information on the mini rocket launchers…. Vishal was seated near by looking through the report which had just come from the police station…..

Just then Shotgun came there shouting over the phone….

Shotgun: Kya matlab hai aapka ki body handover nahi kar sakte? Special Squad se hi to baat kar rahe hain…. Aap…. Oh brother…. Fine!

Saying Shotgun cut the phone and stood there sternly looking at Neha and Vishal, who looked back stunned at seeing Shotgun so irritated…

Vishal: Kya hua Shotgun? Itne frustrated kyun ho rahe ho? ❓

Shotgun: Sab un hospital waalon ke wajah se…. Body handover nahi karenge… Keh rahe hain ki Commissioner saab ka written permission chahiye aur Special Squad ya phir CBI se kisi higher official ko in person jaake sign lagani hogi….

Vishal: Theek hi to hai Shotgun…. Agar kuch ulta seedha ho gaya to vo responsibility nahi le sakte naa…. Procedure hai…. (To Neha) Neha Commissioner Office ko phone lagake kehena Government Hospital me orders bhejh dein…. Hum me se koi jaake sign daalke laa sakta hai body ko!

Shotgun: Government Hospital nahi, Appollo Hospital….

Vishal: (Stunned) Kya??!? App… Appollo Hospital!!?? Wahan body kaise gayi? Government hospital me hi le jaate hain usually…

Shotgun and Neha looked at each other smiling because they knew why Vishal was shocked hearing the hospital's name… More than the hospital it was the Acting Chief Doctor of the hospital who was his fear! 😃

At the same moment Aryan came out of his cabin talking over the phone….

Aryan: Boxer…. Are you sure? Theek hai…. Main abhi wahan aata hoon…. Tab tak unke reports ko verify karna aur baaki details collect karne ko kehena! Right?

Saying Aryan kept the phone and looked up to see Neha, Shotgun and Vishal looking at him questioningly…. 🤔

Aryan: Boxer ka phone tha…. Us insulin vial se pata chal gaya hai ki kis pharmacy se khareedi hai!

Neha: Of course waheen se jahan ticket li thi, Andheri naa?

Aryan: (Smiling) No… Twist in that part…. Appollo Hospital ki pharmacy!

The rest of them stunned shouted out…… "WHAT?!?!?" 😲

Vishal: Appollo again!????????????? 😕😕

Aryan: (Confused looked at him and then at Neha) Kya Appollo again?

Neha: (Smiling) Nai…. Kuch nai.... Nothing important…. (With a serious tone) Lekin vo vial agar Appollo Hospital ke pharmacy se li hai, to its directly opposite from Andheri!

Aryan: (Thoughtful) Wahi Neha, hai confusion…. Andheri me humne search orders bhejhe hain, lagta hai Appollo Hospital ke zone me bhi search chaaloo karni hai!

Saying Aryan looked at Vishal expecting him to understand the indication and immediately call up his guys to start search in Appollo Hospital zone too, but he had a disgruntled expression on his face and didn't seem to have heard Aryan! 😒

Aryan rolled his eyes and called out…

Aryan: Vishal! (No response, so a little louder) Vishal!!!!

Vishal jerked from his reverie and looked up at Aryan and asked….

Vishal: Kya? Kuch kaha tumne?

Aryan: Tch…. Tu bhi naa… Aaj kal pata nahi kahan kho jaata hai… Maine kaha hume Appollo Hospital zone me bhi search karni hogi….

Vishal: (In a dull voice) Haan… To theek hai karo naa!

Aryan: Andheri me search CBI log kar rahe hain, to unhi se wahan bhi search karvani hai, right? ❓

Vishal: (In the same subdued voice) Haan… To karo naa!

Aryan: (Irritated) Urgh…. Aur unhe orders tumhe dene hain!

Vishal looked at Aryan for a while and then nodded smiling sheepishly and immediately placed a call…. He walked to a little distance to talk freely over the phone and give specific orders to his men and get the latest update as well….

Seeing him go, Aryan asked….

Aryan: Ise kya hua hai? Aisi beheki beheki shakal kyun bana rakha usne? ❓

Neha and Shotgun smiled at each other and Shotgun said….

Shotgun: Marne waale to mar gaye…. Ab unki wajah se Vishal ko lagta hai ki uska jeena bhi haram ho raha hai!

As Aryan looked at him puzzled Neha explained about the body been in Appollo Hospital and Vishal's reaction to it and with it Aryan's latest update on the vial!

Aryan: (Smiling) Zindagi me pehli baar aisa hua hai ki ye kisi se dar raha hai…. Warna baaki sabko darane me reheta hai… (Looking at his watch) Oh…. Its getting late…. Main ab hospital jaa raha hoon…. Ab tak ke investigations ki report bana dena Neha, kal press meet ke liye kaam aayenge…

As Neha nodded, Vishal came back and said….

Vishal: Work done… Ek aur separate team nikal chuki hai Appollo Hospital zone me investigation karne…. Ab tak Andheri se koi new update nahi mila hai… They have short listed few people and hotels, lodges… Un sabko check kar rahe hain…. Aaj raat tak wahan investigation ho jaani chahiye!

Aryan: (Nodding) Fine then…. Main nikalta hoon…. Chalte ho?

Vishal: (Interrupting) Kahan?!

Aryan: Hospital…. Wahan us pharmacy me investigation karni hai naa? Aur waise bhi body ko laane ke liye signature karni hai, to?!?!

Vishal: Achcha?!?! Wahan jaa raha hai?! Lekin....

Aryan: Kyun tu nahi aa raha?? Dar hai... 😉

Vishal: (Sternly) Dar?!?!? Aur mujhe…. Mujhe kisse dar hoga…. Bas soch raha tha ki yahan koi news aaye to…..

Shotgun: Vishal… Uski phikar mat karna… Main aur Neha hain naa…. We'll keep you informed of any new developments from here! Iski wajah se investigation me jaane se khud ko rokna mat!

Vishal: (Smiling feebly) Haan… Of course…. Aap log ho naa… Mujhe kya…. (To Aryan) Chalo.... Gaddi niklate hain... Jaisi meri phooti kismat!

Saying Vishal walked upset out of the office, as Aryan, Neha and Shotgun looked at each other smiling....

Aryan: Ye kabhi nahi sudharega…. Same from that time till now… Fine… Bye!

Saying Aryan left the office too! 😃

Appollo Hospital Pharmacy

The Pharmacy even though was hospital's it was situated outside the boundary of the hospital so that even public can have access to it… It was situated in the corner end out of the hospital…

Aryan stopped the car outside the pharmacy as Vishal braked halt just behind him…. Purposefully Vishal avoided coming in Aryan's car because he knew that Aryan was in a great mood to get him (Vishal) in a more frustrated mood, talking about her!

Aryan parked his car and headed to the pharmacy.… Vishal also guided his car to the parking lot….. Parking the car he got out of the car and looked up at the building entrance with a frown on his face…. With the same not so fond expression he made way outside the building, thanking God inside that he didn't had to go in….

At the pharmacy….

Aryan was already inside talking to the pharmacy person…. Ajay and Boxer were looking through some files…. When Vishal neared them….

Aryan: To ek maheene pehle is vial ki sales hui…. Ek hi vial bhejha gaya ki?

Man: No sir… Three vials and five injections, syringes that is….

Aryan: Injection roz badalte hain kya, insulin ke liye?

Man: Nahi sir… Vial ke mg ke dekhkar pata chalta hai ki har doosre din ko insulin lene ki zaroorat hogi… As syringe is used by only one person maybe he uses one syringe per week… Generally doctors three times syringe use, same person that is, suggest karte hain….

Vishal: (Looking around) Lekin vo is hospital ka patient nahi tha? ❓

Man: Must not be sir… Kyunki agar isi hospital ka patient hota to uske bill number ko patient number ke saath jodte hain.… Zyadatar yahan hospital ke patients hi aate hain…. Aas paas ke log mostly ya phir emergency ya medicine kaheen aur nahi milne par aate hain!

Aryan: Theek hai… Hume un sab medicine report sales ki ek copy chahiye…. Uska print out leke dijiyega!

Man: Sorry sir… Aap police se hain isliye maine details tak batayi…. Agar written, physical evidence chahiye to Hospital ke Chief Doctor se permission chahiye… Kal ko vo ye naa keh dein ki humne kaise hospital ke reports de di!

Vishal: Hospital ke chief doctor!?!? (Thinking to himself…. "Dr. D'Souza ki to hain Chief…. Ye bala to sirf unke absence me in charge hai… Then shouldn't be a problem!"😃) Achcha…. Waise bhi hum unse milne jaa hi rahe hain…. Unse baat kar lenge! Aap reports ready zaroor rakhiyega!

Man: (Smiling) Very well sir!

Aryan and team went inside the hospital to talk to Dr. D' Souza and to get the formalities done!

Ajay: Excuse me….

Receptionist: Good afternoon sir… What can I do for you?

Ajay: Kar to aap bahut kuch sakte hain…. Lekin ab ke liye aapke Chief Doctor se milna hai….

Receptionist: (Smiling) Ji sir… Kis vishay me?

Boxer: Aap bas unse kahiyega ki hum Special Squad se aaye hain….

Receptionist: Ji sir…

While the receptionist placed a call to the Dr. D' Souza Boxer looked behind and saw Vishal looking here and there consciously…. He nudged Ajay who asked the purpose…. Boxer indicated Vishal and seeing him Ajay couldn't suppress his smile… Both of them looked at each other grinning…

Going up to him….

Ajay: Kya hua Vishal? Kisi khaaaaasssss ko dhoondh rahe ho? 😉

Aryan who was standing few feet away smiled to himself seeing the trio… Poor Vishal… One thing he feared and was now on the verge of facing it!

Vishal: (Glaring at him) Tumhara matlab?

Boxer: Nai bas ki aankhein tired ho gayi hogi, ab tak tumne jaise dekha…. Agar humko batate to hum bhi dhooondhne me help kar dete hain…

Saying Ajay and Boxer laughed a little as Vishal looking at them pointedly said….

Vishal: Ha ha ha… Very funny…. Pata hai ki main kisi ko dhoondh raha hoon, lekin baat karne nahi.… Bachne… Pata nahi kahan se aa tapke…. Shukar hai Dr. D' Souza hain, unse humara kaam hai…. Warna to.… 😕

Ajay: Warna to kya? Warna to kuch nahi… Humara kaam aur bhi aasaan ho jaata…. Jaldi ho jaata.… Koi kisi ko wait nahi karvata yahan…. (Grinning)

As Vishal opened his mouth to retort back, the receptionist called out….

Receptionist: Sir… Aap jaa sakte hain…. (To a ward boy near by) Chandan inhe Chief Doctor ka room dikha dena!

The ward boy nodded and led the team to the elevator….

Inside the elevator Vishal glared at Ajay and Boxer who couldn't stop smiling.…

The elevator stopped in the second floor and Vishal's face went bleak… The other three stepped out following Chandan as Vishal slowly, cautiously stepped out… He looked about and saw the Chandan was leading them towards a room he knew was his doom!

Just before Chandan could reach the room he called out….

Vishal: Ek minute…. (Going up to the team) Ye yahan kyun aaye hain? ❓

Chandan: (Confused) Ji sir…. Aap Chief Doctor se milna chahate the, to yahi madam ka room hai!

Hearing the word 'madam' Aryan, Ajay and Boxer looked at each other surprised and smiled broadly understanding who they were going to see…

As expected Vishal was all shocked and stunned… With a dull voice he asked….

Vishal: Madam? Ko… Koun madam? 😵

Chandan: (Still confused) Ji sir… Sandhya madam… Wahi to is hospital ke Chief hain!

Vishal sat down on the sofa near by hands on his head as the other three couldn't contain their smiles enough….

After a pause time he looked up and with the same "Oh No!" expression asked….

Vishal: Ab ye kab se is hospital ki Chief bani? I… I mean… Dr. D' Souza hain naa Chief!? 😒

Chandan: The sir… Ab vo is hospital ke Dean hain… Hospital ke kaam se unhe aksar bahar jaana padta hai to madam ko hospital ki saari responsibilties de di!

Vishal: Achcha… Achcha hai… (Smiling feebly) Meri kismet bhi achchi hai….

Aryan: (Rolling his eyes) Vishal… Ab stop your drama and come… Hume der ho rahi hai!

Vishal: (Standing up exclaimed😲) Andar?!!!? Main nahi aa raha andar vandar…. Tum log jao!

Aryan: (Sternly) Vishal… Tum is case ka in charge ho… Aise nautanki karoge to kaise hoga? Tu chalta hai ki nahi? Phir andar jo baat karenge hum nahi batayenge!

Vishal went up to Aryan and taking his hand said as if crying….

Vishal: Aryan… Yaar… Dekh… We may not be closest of friends yaar…. Lekin frenemy hain, usme friend pehle aata hai… Hai naa? Whatever may be it, don't ever please do this to me…. Tum log andar jaao, aur please…. Please use batana mat ki main aaya hoon…. Yaar ye to ek madad kar de! 😭

Aryan rolling his eyes fred his hands from his and said….

Aryan: Drama baaz…. Ajay, Boxer chalo… Ye kabhi nahi sudharega! 😊

Chandan still confused by Vishal's reaction led Aryan and the other two inside the cabin….

Vishal: (Remembering yesterday) Tujhe nahi pata Aryan…. Akeli ek hi bala ko sehen karna mushkil hai…. Ab usne jinke saath joint venture rakhi hai vo to issse bhi badi shaatir hain yaar…. Ab andar gaya to meri haalat aur bigadne ke chances, nahi nahi poora bigaad hi degi… Bala!

Saying Vishal paced in the corridor looking at the closed door, and glaring more at the board which read "Ms. Sandhya Agarwal, Chief Doctor" and a line of medical degrees below her name….. 😡 His face softened immediately…. 😳 He stopped pacing and went over the board and smiled looking at it… He let his hand smooth over her name and thought "No one has ever been dedicated and committed like you…. In professional and personal life…. But I am not the right one for you!"

Saying Vishal went and sitting on the sofa, took the day's newspaper off the side table and spread it….

Inside the cabin…

Sandhya jerked her hand form the X-ray screen…. She felt something… Something strange… Like something had brushed past her…. Something had touched her…. She looked around and saw only the nurse standing beside her.… No touched her, but then what was that!?!?!? ☺️

Nurse: Doctor kya hua?

Aryan, Ajay and Boxer entered the cabin and saw Sandhya's chair turned looking at what looked like an leg X-ray…. She was saying to the nurse near by….

Sandhya: Good… No fracture… Lekin swelling bahut hui hai…. Maine jo medication ko stall kiya tha, is X-ray check ke liye… Use start kijiyega… Abhi ek dose de dena, taaki bachchi ko relief mile… (Sternly) Aur please drips pe dyaan rakhna… Don't again be forgetful like now!

Nurse: (In subdued tone) Sorry madam…. Aage se dyaan rakhoongi….

Sandhya: (Softly) Neelam! Sorry kehene ki zaroorat nahi hai… Yaad rakhna ki ye hospital se zyada, home away from home hai…. Patients ki dekhbaal karna humara farz hai… Humne jo profession li hai uska dharm hai…. Khaaskar bachchon ki…. Isliye agar phir se khaane ke liye jaa rahi ho, to please kisi aur incharge ke aane tak wait zaroor karna…. Bachchi hai! Agar drips khatam hote samay main wahan nahi aati to bachchi aur bhi mushkil me pad jaati naa? Waise bhi bechari pneumonia se takleef me hai… Pata nahi…. 😕

Saying Sandhya turned around and seeing the three stopped talking and smiled…

Sandhya: Hello… Good afternoon… Baithiye! (Giving the X-ray to the nurse) Tum jao aur vo medicines de dena… Aur unki mother se kehena ki shaam tak swelling kam ho jayegi… Main aakar unse milti hoon!

The nurse nodding took the X-ray and left…. The ward boy also left….

Sandhya: Sorry, ek case ki discussion me thi to I didn't notice you all… Kahiye… Seems the matter is official!

Aryan: Haan… Actually hum ek case handle kar rahe hain, jiske silsile me hume aapke pharmacy ke kuch sales ke reports chahiye…

Sandhya: Oh! You mean the blast case?!?

Aryan: Haan… Aur us case ki body ko bhi move karna hai Special Squad….

Sandhya: That should be okay… But usme ek issue hai!

Aryan smiling a little looked at Ajay and Boxer who also smiled in return….

Aryan: Well… That also shouldn't also be a problem…. CBI se humare saath koi aaya hai… He's outside!

Sandhya: Outside?!!? (Puzzled) Kyun? Andar bulaliye naa unhe! 🤔

Seeing her smile Ajay and Boxer looked at each other eyebrows raised and tried hard to stop smiling even more broadly…

Sandhya: Ji… I Understand… Aur ye bhi jaanti hoon ki unhe andar kaise laana hai…. Pehle aap kuch lenge… Hot or cold? ❓

Sandhya: No no… Please…. Waise bhi mere reports taiyaar hone me aur body move karne me der to hogi hi…

Sandhya: (Over the phone) Hello… Mitra… Ek body aayi thi, blast case ki… Use Special Squad office move karne ki preparations karna…. Aur pharmacy ko phone karke keh dena ki Special Squad se jo reports chahate the use prepare kar dein…. Aur haan chaar cold drinks bhejhna mere cabin me… Usme ek me zyada ice daalna… Aur mere cabin ke bahar ek aadmi baithe honge… Use unhe dena aur kehena ki vo bahut hot hain to maine ice cold drink bhejha hai! Saying Sandhya kept the phone and looked at the three who tried their level best to stop smiling… Seeing them Sandhya also smiled a little….

Aryan: (Trying to break the silence) Hrrmm… Agar aap ek notepad de sakti hain, to requisition letter hum likh dete hain… He can come and sign it later…

Sandhya: Ek minute…

Saying Sandhya gave him a notepad which Aryan gave to Ajay to write the matter….

Ajay started writing on the matter as Aryan asked…

Aryan: Us body ki postmortem kar di?

Sandhya: (Back to her professional self) Ji…. Maine hi ki thi… Since it was police case…

Aryan: And your take on it? ❓

Sandhya: (Surprised) Are you sure? Nai… Mera matlab hai aap bhi postmortem karenge… To mere judgement se?!!?

Sandhya stopped as the door opened and Vishal entered with the cold drink in his hand… Standing by the door he glared at Sandhya who just smiled back at him…. Behind him a ward boy brought the drinks and placed it over the table…

Sandhya: Mr. Malhotra… Wahan kyun khade hain, andar aayiye…

Ajay, Boxer looked up slightly from the notepad at Vishal who glared back at them…… They silently looked away, passing a glance at Sandhya… Looking back at each other they got back to the writing process smiling to themselves… Aryan also just smiled to himself and expected this reaction from Vishal when Sandhya has said so like that over the phone….

Vishal: (Coming up to them) Thanks for the cold drink!

Sandhya: Welcome… Baithiye… (Seeing there was no chair there) Oops… Sorry…. Ek minute… (To the man who had brought the drinks) Ek aur chair laana andar se! 😃

The ward boy nodded and went inside the private room and brought out a chair…

Sandhya: Ab to baith sakte hain…. (To the wardboy) Tum jao! Aur haan Mitra se kehena ki mujhse aake mile…

The ward boy nodded and left the cabin….

Seeing that Vishal was still standing looking elsewhere Sandhya commented….

Sandhya: Mr. Malhotra…. Aise hi khade rehene ka irada hai kya? Reports prepare hone me der hogi… Pair dard karega…. Lekin…

Before Sandhya could continue Vishal sat down sternly on the chair…

Sandhya: (Smiling took the tray and passed on the drinks to the others) Aap lijiye naa…

The others took the glasses… While sipping on the juice Aryan said to Vishal about his signature needed in the formalities…

Vishal: Haan… Haan… Ho jayega! Sign hi to karni hai! 😳

Sandhya: I was right…. You are very hot…

Vishal: (Roughly) Haan aur koi drink mujhe thanda nahi karne waala!

Sandhya just shrugged smiling… Ajay finished writing the letter and gave it to Vishal for signing…. Sandhya's personal assistant Mitra entered with the reports required…. Sandhya verified them and gave it to the team… While they handed over the requisition letter!

Aryan: (Getting up) Thanks….. Ab hum chalte hain…. Is case ko hume jaldi solve karni hai… Pressure bad raha hai!

Aryan, Ajay and Boxer went up to the door…. Vishal was leaving the table…. Sandhya also took her coat and came out from the table… So just before going to the door, they came next to each other….

Sandhya: I know…. (Looking at Vishal) Mujhe aap par poora bharosa hai… Bahut hi jald is case ko aap solve kar denge! 😳

Vishal who was walking to the door looked back slightly and saw the confidence she had in her eyes and the wishes also…. His stern face just softened as both shared a moment of silent talks with their eyes… ☺️

Aryan: (From the door) Er… Vishal chalein? 😉

Coming out of the reverie both of them composed themselves…. Vishal looked around and nodding made way to the door when Sandhya's words stopped them….

Sandhya: Aap nikal rahe hain? Lekin D.......

Sandhya: Excuse me… (Saying Sandhya attended the phone) Hello….

Hearing it Aryan commented…

Aryan: Poor kid…. Hope she becomes fine!😕

The receptionist had the phone in her hand…. She then called out to the hurrying ward boy and asked….

Receptionist: Are Chandan…. Patient koun hai?

Before rounding the corner the ward boy said aloud….

Chandan: Are wahi... Kal raat jo bachchi pneumonia ke liye admit hui thi!

Receptionist: (Talked over the phone) Jaldi ye medicines laana…. (Reading out the medicine names) Eemergency hai.... Children's ICU me.... Patient ka naam… Srishti Gosh!

The name resounded in the corridor… But didn't affect anyone else except Aryan and Vishal… Automatically their steps halted and they looked at each other shocked!

Vishal: SRI!!!! 😲

Both of them immediately hurried to the receptionist…. Seeing them so tensed Ajay and Boxer looked at each puzzled…. They stood their place wondering what made them so stunned! 🤔

Aryan: Madam… Abhi ek patient ko mention kiya tha aapne? Kya hua use?

Receptionist: Ji sir… Bechari bachchi hai…. Pneumonia hua hai… Kal raat admit hui thi… Ab tak bahut critical state me hai!😕

Vishal and Aryan looked at each other shocked…. Both of them then remembered Sandhya asking about them not meeting someone…. That must have been Dipika and Sri!

Vishal: (To the receptionist, hurriedly) Kahan hai?

Receptionist: Ji sir…. Children's ICU…. Ground Floor!

The next moment the receptionist was looking at empty air as Vishal and Aryan literally ran to the hospital corridor at the back… Rounding the corner they looked about and saw whom they expected to see!
