Pulling a chair near him Francis indicated Dipika to sit down and then started the meeting….

Shotgun and Zubin joined the team just then, because they were given work by Francis to arrange for vehicles!

Winking at Dipika secretly he got into his Francical attitude and started off…. 😃

Francis: Good Moorrrrrrnnnnnnninggggggg!!!!😛 Oh… Poor guys… Subah ki neend kharaab kar di naa maine?(Pacing at the head of the table) To…. What are we here for?!!?!? (Like thinking 🤔 ) Oh main to bhool hi gaya!

Some of them around the table smiled at his kiddish attitude while some looked really irritated with his sing song attitude…. Aryan, Raghu, Ajay and Boxer were definitely among the ones irritated…. And of course Dipika had to act like been irritated…. 😉

Rolling her eyes Dipika said…. 😔

Dipika: Excuse me! Humare paaa faaltu ka waqt nahi hai… Can you please continue? ❓

Francis: Oh ho Deeps… Kaam hi to kar rahe hain… Lekin itna serious bhi kyun lena! 🤪

Before Dipika could say anything Francis continued hastily…

Francis: Right right! So we are here for what? Ah got it! 😛 Guys we are going for a raid today… Well… Not one but two raids today!

Saying Francis sat down on his chair… Leaning back cross on the chair and sliding down he took a chocolate from his coat pocket started munching it, very coolly…. 😎

He didn't seem to care about the effect his words had created….

Everyone looked at each other shocked and murmurs started slowly… 😲

Aryan: Raids?!? Kahan? Kyun? Kaise?

Francis still munching his chocolate looked up and said coolly……

Francis: (Words slightly slurred because of the chocolate in his mouth) Kita quetin poote o?

Everyone around the table looked at him stunned at what he was telling?

Dipika: Kya? Kita quetion?!?!?!? Kya bol rahe ho Francis? 😡

Rolling his eyes Francis looked at Dipika.... But before he could answer….

Neha who was seated at the other side of Francis said……..

Neha: Dipika… Ye bhi nahi samjhi? ❓

From the other end Ajay asked shocked….

Ajay: Tumhe samajhme aaya?!!?!?! 😲

Neha looked at him as if he had lost his brain and said…. 😔

Neha: Of course… Its so easy…. (She looked at Franc smiling sweetly and said) Franc Aryan se pooch raha hai ki "Kitne questions poochthe ho?"… Kyun Franc yahi kaha naa tumne? ❓

Francis looked at her as if surprised and straightened in his chair…. Placing a hand over Neha's which was on the table he tilted his head and said….

Francis: Ah… Nehaaaaaaaa! Dil chu liya tumne! You understand me so much you know! 😃

Neha didn't fail to glance over at Ajay who had his eyes over Francis and Neha's hand… He made a wiggly mouth as if about to cry but Boxer held his heart and made him calm down…. 😆

Blushing a little Neha said in a soft voice….. 😳

Neha: Oh thank you Franc!

The others around the table knew Neha was teasing Ajay and so couldn't help smiling at Neha's tactics and Ajay's sober face…. 😆

Raghu: (Irritated literally shouting) Oh please… Will you guys get back to business! Francis what is this about raids? If we are going for one or rather two, aren't we supposed to leave… What are we waiting for? ❓

Francis put his right left fore finger in his ears and shook it as if Raghu's loudness had made his ears pain…. This made Raghu fume 😡 more and was about to say something when Francis started coolly……

Francis: Raaaaaggghhhuuuuvvvvaaaammmssssssiii! 😆 Nice name by the way! I was questioned by Aryan first and I was answering him and I will answer him only…. Am I clear? Deary meary sweety Raghuvamsi? 😉

He smiled at Raghu for the sake of it and turned his attention to Aryan…. 😳

The others around the table even though irritated by Francis's attitude couldn't do anything because they were on a mission and Francis was leading it and them…. If they wished they could walk out of it, but were sworn to secrecy and most importantly their future career depended on it…. So they had to tolerate Francis's casual musical attitude!

Francis: Aryaaaaaaannnnnnn!!!!!!! Wahi to main keh raha tha, with Neha predicting it ever so correctly… Kitne sawaal poochte ho yaar? But well as you know I am obliged to answer it…. So what was your first question? ❓

Neha: Raids? 😊

Francis looked at Neha puzzled who explained clearly…..

Neha: Nai... Matlab Aryan wants to make sure you said raids!

Francis: (Understanding) Ah… Yeah yeah…. (Looking back at Aryan) Yuppy yup Aryan…. Raids! Hmm… So next question…. Kahan? Right? ❓

At this Aryan just looked on answering nothing... First because he was irritated because of his sing song attitude... Second because he seemed to be near Dipika always... Third he to know more about what they were going do…. 😡

This time Francis looked at everyone around the table… Aryan's eyes followed his roving eyes… When Francis came to Dipika he looked at her a little longer than the others and smiled which got noticed by Aryan, who was staring at Dipika…. 😈

Dipika looked at him and noticed his angry expression…… She immediately looked down at her file… There after Dipika only occasionally glanced up to look around…. 😕

Francis: Oie… Ki Aryan? You are supposed to answer when questioned naa? Anyways I will... As for your question…. Kahan ka answer isssssssss……

Saying Francis made a hand motion like magicians do with a wand and stood up… He then bent towards Neha and extending the half eaten chocolate in wrapper he said…..

Francis: Hey babes can you please have this? ❓

Neha nodded very eagerly and took the chocolate from him…. 😛

As for Ajay it seemed like his world had collapsed hearing Franc calling Neha babes… 😭 And more shocking for him was that Neha hadn't even retorted to it! In fact she seemed to enjoy it…. 😕 She chided him for saying so, even after their engagement 😡

With great difficulty he tore his eyes from her and looked at Francis who seemed to be doing something standing…. 🤔

Francis had stood up and crept his hand to his back… He was making a serious concentrated but yet funny expression and was feeling under his jacket behind him and took out two envelopes…. 🤪

Then nodding his head in approval he looked around waving the envelopes…. 😃

Francis: Kahan ka answer is envelope me hai…. Well… Two! Because this team of ours is gonna be split into two… One led by me and the other by Aryan!

Saying Francis leant on the table… He placed one envelope on the table and with a smooth effort pushed it towards Aryan… ⭐️

Just as it reached him Aryan put out his hand to stop the envelope from sliding further….. ⭐️

Francis gave Aryan a winning smile and said….. 👍🏼

Francis: Good catch Aryan! So… Hey… Don't open it hunh… Hum ise sharp nine o'clock hi kholenge…. Orders from the top… And for nine we have fifteen minutes more!

The others looked at each other wondering whether to ask their questions but knew that Aryan had yet one more question to be answered…..

Francis: So next question! Kaise? ❓

Francis sat down and took the chocolate from Neha, thanking her… Then leaning back crossly on the chair again he said….

Francis: I'll give you the details now… Kal shaam ko mujhe ek information mili… A lead… Jab tak vo confirm naa hota I didn't want to inform you guys… So I confirmed and the result is these raids… Where are we going for the raids are in these envelopes… Aur iski jaankari confidential rahegi until the last moment we leave for the raids… Main bata doon that Income Tax people are also accompanying us for the raids! 😊

Again there was a murmur of speech around the table… Francis bit a small piece of his chocolate and started munching again…..

Boxer: Income tax!?!? Lekin vo kyun? ❓

[BFrancis: (Looking at Boxer) Hmm… Next in line to answer is actually Raghu… (Looking at Raghu) But the thing is his answer is your answer too Boxeryyyyyyy… So I'll answer it…. 😃 (Looking around in turns) The thing is… What are we going to raid for? We are going to raid for drugs… Or amount which is unaccounted for…. Which may have come because of drug deals… Ab unaccounted amount ko tally karne we need income tax people naa… So they will raid the house we will search the house…. Got it! Ab Raghu if you are smart you would by now know why we aren't leaving for raid so early? 😉

Raghu looked at Francis sternly and said in a subdued voice….

Raghu: Because income tax people know about the house they are to raid only at the last minute…. Just before they go for the raid… And that too only at nine in the morning if it is planned for the day! And we are following them 😕

Francis: Oooo…… You are intelligent Raghu…. I agree… Of course if you are in my team you must be smart, no doubt! 😉

Bhavesh: (An officer from Intelligence Bureau) Lekin Francis, aapne to do teams ke baare me kaha tha?!?!!? ❓

Francis: Yeah…. (Looking at Neha) Babes… Vo print outs ready hain naa? ❓

Neha: (Nodding enthusiastically) Of course hai Francs… Tumne kaha aur humne use ready nahi kiya? Aisa ho sakta hai bhala? Dekho… 😃 😳

Saying Neha gave him the sheafs of papers she was arranging…. Looking at it Francis said happily…

Francis: Yeah… Neha perfectionist…. 👏

Saying Francis leaned over and gave Neha a hug which she accepted happily but was a shocker show down for Ajay who literally felt like fainting now…. 😡

Francis passed the papers around and said…

Francis: The sheet has the details of the teams…. Jab envelope se jagah ka pata chalega, the team will follow its lead and leave immediately… While in the house I must warn you that you have to be extra smart in thinking of the trivial places things could be hidden… And another warning, we are not raiding ordinary places.… Because both of them maybe big shots… So just be careful! 😳

The group members looked down at the papers that were passed to them to check under whose lead each of them going to come under….

Raghu looked up at Aryan and then at Francis and wondered how he got to be under Francis's team… His hatred built seeing Aryan lead a team and him just been under someone…. 😡

As usual Ajay, Boxer, Shotgun came under Aryan... Zubin was included in Francis's team....

What came as another shocker for the Special Squad team was that Dipika was included in the team and most importantly she was under Francis… 😲

Just seeing her name was enough…. He didn't know whether to be angry or sad… Because that would mean he was not happy with her been in the team…. In fact he was happy that she was in the team but was surprised because no one had mentioned this to him… 😕

But little did he know that Dipika herself was confused seeing her name on the list… Her immediate reaction was to look up at Aryan who was also confused and hurt more….. 🥺

Dipika: What is this Francis? Mera naam kyun hai? I don't go to crime scenes nor to any raids and all!

Francis: (Looking at her sideways) Deeps! Deeps! Deeps! We are going and that's it… I can't afford to let officers be idle….

Dipika: (Sternly) Francis… I am not going and that's it…. I can't afford to do a job which I haven't! 😡

Francis made a face at her and was about to answer back….

But just then there was a blaring noise which astound the group around the table… Everybody looked here and there trying to find the source of the noise…

Then they noticed that Francis was as usual cool… He slowly slid his hand inside his coat front pocket and removed his cell… Seeing the number his smiling jolly face became serious and standing up, he put his cell back inside and ordered…

Francis: The income tax people have started… So shall we! 😳

Francis looked at Aryan and gave a curt nod… At the same moment both of them ripped open the envelope and looked at the address in it…

Both had shockers on their faces because as Francis had predicted both were big shots of Mumbai… 😲

(Seems it was a Shocker Day for Special Squad) 😉

Arresting without strong allegations could put them in problem…. But this was going to be done and was going to be fun… Both Francis and Aryan knew it… Because they enjoyed it! 😃

Francis: So let's get going! Team lead aage ki gaadi chalayega… Others just follow! So let's leave!

There was scrambling of chair as people rushed to the vehicles…

As the others left the Special Squad team and Francis were only left….

Looking down a Dipika…..

Francis: So chalo… What are you waiting for? We are getting late!

Dipika looked once at Aryan and then up at Francis and said…

Dipika: Francis… I am not coming! Maine kaha naa I usually don't go for investigations… Phir….

Francis grabbed her left hand and making her stand up said….

Francis: Agar nahi gayi… To ab jaaogi… And everyone are supposed to be part of all activities regarding this mission… So let's go… 😛

Dipika: But….

Francis: Hey Deeps… No buts… Just come….

Saying Francis held Dipika's hand and led her off….

As they passed the other end of the table Francis said to Aryan….

Francis: Aryaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnn!!!!!! Its getting late… We have to be fast… So come on… Hey Neha come on babes!

Saying Francis went off dragging Dipika…

At the head of the table Neha who was checking a file called out…

Neha: Yeah yeah… Coming! 😃

Neha put the papers down and with a little haste in her steps joined Francis and Dipika…. As she passed the group at the other end of the table, she gave them a smile and a small wave and left…. 😊

Till they reached the door and disappeared Dipika kept looking back at Aryan who had kept his fist bowled near him and with great difficulty controlled his rising fury…. 😡

To add ghee to the flaming oil Zubin commented….

Zubin: Are aisa kheenchke jaa raha hai jaise girl friend… 🤔

Boxer hit Zubin on his shoulders and said him to be quiet….

At this Aryan jerked his head down at him and stared at him like looks could kill… 😡

Catching Aryan by the shoulders Ajay said….

Ajay: Bewafaaa sanammmmmmmm sab yahan!!!!! (Becoming serious) Lekin Aryan… I think we should leave… Der naa ho jaye? Neeche bhi sab humara intezaar kar rahe honge!

Aryan looked back at Ajay and the finally nodded…

The team then rushed out of the office to their vehicles…. 😊

Both the teams left for their destinations…. Except Aryan and Francis no knew where they were going…. Not even Dipika…. 😔

Seated beside Aryan in the front Ajay asked him for the tenth time…..

Ajay: Batao to sahi Aryan hum kahan jaa rahe hain? ❓

Irritated Aryan honked the horn unnecessary in the empty road and said….

Aryan: Ajay maine kaha naa… Jab tak hum wahan nahi pahoonch jaate tab tak kuch mat poochna…. Main batane waala hoon nahi…. Agar phir se poocha to yaheen gaadi rukvake tumhe utharva doonga… Samjhe? 😡

Saying Aryan speeded up the vehicle…

Ajay tried gain to interrupt when he felt a restraining hand on his shoulder…. He turned around and saw Boxer shake his head…. Both of them looked back at Aryan who was driving, but only automatically… But his concentration was definitely elsewhere… 😕

Yes... Aryan's thoughts were all around Dipika... Why was she like that? Never before was she like that... More then the sorry for yesterday's incident, Aryan felt anger fuming in him seeing Francis order Dipika about... Who was he to do it? Why he himself had not ordered her like that!!!!!!! 😡 And that Francis... Who was he to decide teams? Of course he leads the mission, but he didn't even consult him.... And how the heck did Dipika end up in his team? How can she?!!?!?!?

Now he stopped his tirade... Why was he angry? Because Francis had the rights to order Dipika about and he didn't.... Because Dipika was not with him now... Oh no.... No... Because... Because... Aryan didn't know! He had controlled his feelings to let her live, then why was he feeling so insecure when anyone is about her... And if she neglects him 😕 And above all why was she allowing someon to shunt her about? He felt something fishy there 😒

Ajay looked back at Boxer and raised his eyebrows who mouthed "Dipika!"… Ajay nodded and kept silent for the rest of the journey….

Aryan braked halt in front of the house…. The team got down and looked up surprised at the house… 😲

Shotgun: Aryan ye to minister ka ghar hai!

Aryan coming to the gate said…

Aryan: Dekha naa…. Hai to sahi… 😳

He waited till his team assembled and knocked on the gate… It was opened by a police officer from the income tax department…. Aryan showed his credentials… After verification they were allowed in….


At the same time at the other end of the city….

Francis was whistling and driving his vehicle with Dipika beside him and Neha behind….

Dipika: (Irritated 😡 ) Kya zaroorat thi mujhe isme kheenchne ki? Tumhe pata hai I don't come out for investigations, to…

Taking a turn Francis answered….

Francis: Oh Deeps…

Jerking her head Dipika looked at him and asked….

Dipika: Kya kaha? ❓ 😡

Francis: What?!!?? That name is also nice... Hai naa Neha?

From behind….

Neha: Haan… But I guess Dipika doesn't like it!

Francis: Whoa! Same side goal… Not fair Neha!

Neha: (Smiling a little) Sorry Francis… But the fact is you do irritate some people you know!

Dipika: Yeah… And that is irritating calling me like that!

Francis: Well… You feel it irritating... Bue see Neha is so sweet... She doesn't feel it irritating... Yes naa Neha?

Neha didn't know what to answer, because at times Francis was irritating, but she tolerated him for Ajay.... 😕

Neha: Well... Franc....

Francis: Yeah yeah... Let me guess! You tolerate my irritations to irritate Ajay, who definitely is getting irritated and because of which Special Squad is irritated and Aryan is irritated and now Dipika is irritated and now see I used a lot of irritates in my sentence... Phew!

Dipika: Francis... Will you please stop it and stop calling me like that!

Francis: Oh... That I can't do naa Deeps... Because Expedite…

Dipika and Neha together said….

"Expedite does only what he feels and does not care about anyone or anything!"

Dipika: (Sternly 😳 ) Oh please… Stop it! I really have by hearted the dialog….

Francis looked at Dipika grinning 😃 who was actually in turn glaring at him…. 😡 Francis's smile vanished and he gave a sorry smile…. 😉

Francis: Dekho Deeps… This is not investigation as such… Its just a raid… Anyways the more officers we have the more useful it would be naa… That's why! Tumhare liye bhi experience ho jayega… Okay? ❓

Dipika: (With a not interested tone) Maybe! Francis can ask you something?
Francis: Hey Deeps! That's nice… You asking me something… But you know what you can call me Franc… Neha does and I like beautiful girls calling me like that,… And so if you don't call me like that means…. 😉

Francis left it at that and looked at Dipika teasing who rose her eyebrows and mouthed "Vishal!" 😲

Dipika: (Smiling a little) Playing games are you…. Only when I need to call you I have to use that name isn't it? Okay then I'll never call you hereafter! Fine? ❓

Saying Dipika turned her head and looked out the window…

Her thoughts immediately went out to Aryan… She had became a little upset seeing the expression on his face when she was forcefully led from the office by Francis aka Vishal… She had accompanied him because she knew her friend… But for Aryan he was Francis! 😕

But seeing his expression increased her confusion of the fact that he was genuinely concerned about her more than how much friend would be!

Just as they turned a corner Dipika noticed a boy around the age of sixteen carrying a duffel bag into a house…

Immediately Francis braked halt in front of the next house…

Surprised Dipika looked up at the house through the windshield… Shocked she turned to look at Francis and asked stunned…. 😲

Dipika: Francis… This is the business tycoon's house… Mr…

From behind in the same dazed voice….

Neha: Sameer Chopra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😲

Getting down from the car, Francis opened the door for Dipika and said...

Francis: Of course it is... Maine kaha tha Deeps... We may be going to some big shots house and here we are!

Dipika: (Warningly) But still we are treading on soft grounds... This may turn out to be our biggest and if it does... 😳

Francis: (Looking up at the house and said sarcastically) Trust me Deeps... This is going to be fun because we are on right tracks.... 😈

Turning back he saw that the whole of the team had assembled... Francis gave a nod and led the group to the house... 😊

As the same procedure and police officer was standing at the gate... He checked every one of their credentials and allowed them in! 👍🏼

As for the raids.... You Sam this surely doesn't happen in our country.... You suspect a person in power and you go out of power... But I have always imagine that to be a reality where people who are wrong be punished, may they be in any position or have any influence... Ilsiye meri is sapne ko is FF ke sahare hi sahi, such bana rahi hoon... 😕Anyways imagine the unimaginable is a FF naa😉
