Waise, I heard that in Maharasthra and other Southern states, there is thisi concept of junior colleges. Since I was brought up in North, I had no idea what it was. So, I did some researching and found out that you go there after 10th. Now is there a difference in the level of education?

Naahh...Junior colleges are equivalent to 11th and 12th (they are also called 11th and 12th btw) :D
Now I live in Maharashtra so i too go to a junior college. Basically, it is very relaxed, and unlike school no compulsary lectures and stuff...:D So love it. As far as level of edu is concerned, there is no difference. We too give 12th boards and CETS and AIEEE to get admission to higher courses.

Junior college does mean 10+2..It is not affiliated to any school and is a separate institution. There are schools that offer 10+2 but most people prefer junior colleges because of the greater degree of freedom. You can use the spare time to prepare for competitive exams,laze away...just about anything :D
