The crowd around cheered loudly as the boys' hands on their hip looked at the girls winningly!👍🏼

Sandhya and the girls turned around to see the boys giving high five to each other happily clapping their hands!😉

Vishal: Ajay! Tumhara batuwa bach gaya!😃

Sandhya: (In a sing song voice) Ah haaannnn… Itni jaldi kaise?!!? (Walking towards the group with the other girls behind her) Oye Chilgose! Baazi maari hai… (Claaping her hands mocking them👏) Congratulations! Lekin… Picture baaki hai mere doooostttttttttttttt..... Abhi rasmein baaki hain, karne ko bahut kuch hai! Tab tak ye khel hai jab tak vivaah jodi ghar nahi jaati!

Vishal: (Smiling😊) Um hummm… Abhi bhi yakeen hai! Itni badi…

Sandhya: (Going closer to him) Ahhh…. Naa… Itni badi bilkul nai… Agar tum apna dimaag laga sakte ho, (Only for him to hear😳) tumhe chuna hai maine! To zaahir hai dimaag mera zyada hai! Hmm!😉

Saying he hit his chin lightly and smiling went off from the mandap with the girls troop following her… Just before going out she turned back to look at a stunned Vishal looking at her dazed!

Laughing she pitited him and went off dragging a startled Aadhya with her!😉 🤔

Dipika who was standing close enough with Sandhya had heard her talk to Vishal…. She looked at him looking at her go and smiled…. Wow! She was a phataka and he was an atom bomb! Deadly combination! But sweet combination! Weird combination!😃

Smiling to herself she was about to go when Mrs. Desai called out to her….

Mrs. Desai: Dipika! Vo dood ke liye bowl… Ring ceremony shuru karni hai!😊

Dipika: (Nodding) Haan aunty… Taiyaar hai… Kitchen me… Main abhi laati hoon!

Saying she went out of the mandap to get the bowl, milk and other things needed for the after marriage game! 😛

Dipika entered the kitchen and scanned the area for the big brass bowl… She smiled seeing it near the window counter and went over to get it… She tried lifting it and found it to be heavy…. Putting it down, she went to the fridge and got the fresh milk from it… Then took the rose flower petals from the botton drawer of the fridge… Coming back to the counter she surveyed all the items to be taken back to mandap… Oh! How was she to lift this heavy bowl, along with the flower and milk… The bowl in itself was so heavy… If she placed the milk and flowers in them it would become heavier… Nevertheless she lifted it and started out of the kitched…. Halfway across the hall she found it too heavy… She had to keep it down!😕

She immediately looked around for a high place to put it on… But couldn't find anything….. She decided better to keep it down itself and tried to get down on her knees… But with the heavy things and also to take care the milk didn't spill she was finding it difiicult to go down on her heels…. But before she could kneel down fully, a strong pair of hands came and caught hers…. Surprised she looked up the found Vishal helping her up…. Smiling relieved she stood up as Vishal took the heavy bowl from her….

Vishal: (Sternly😳) Kya zaroorat thi ise akele uthane ki? Heavy hai to kisi ko bula liya hota!

Dipika: Heavy tha Vishal! Lekin socha ki I can manage!

Vishal: Badi aayi manage karne waali! Shukar hai Neha ki maa ne phool ke liye poocha! Isliye main yahan aaya!

Taking the milk vessel and the flower cover from the bowl Dipika said….

Dipika: Hai naa! Maine phool bhi le liye!

Vishal: (With the bowl in his hands, indicated towards the door) To ab chalo! Sab waiting!

Dipika: (Smiling pushed him out of the house) Maine kab kaha no one is waiting! Tumhi bahut baatein kar rahe ho! (Walking beside him) Waise manana padega… Humi se joote ka pata lagava liya!😊

Vishal: (Grinning😃) Maine Purvi aur Aadhya ko joote gayab hone ka baad ghar ki taraf jaate hue dekha tha…. Maine to Aadhya ko sirf mere saath dance ke liye company dene ko kaha tha! Lekin pata tha, vo Bandariya aisa hi kuch sochegi… Aur dekho, hume joote mil gaye!

Dipika: Haan haan…. (Glancing at Sandhya and the girls standing few feet away from the mandap) Lekin vo bhi itni aasaani se baazi jaane nahi degi!

Vishal: (Glancing her way) Pata hai… Pata hai… Lekin is baar joote itni aasaani haath nahi aayenge…. Keh dena, apni sena ki leader se!

Dipika: (Laughing a little😆) Message pahooncha doongi… (Entering the mandap) Lekin very bad hunh… Main to uske dance dekhne ke liye wait kar rahi thi… Especially kal ke sangeet ke baad.... Agar vo mood me hoti to aaj ki mehfil isse bhi zyada chamakti!

Saying she went over to the stage which was cleared of the the marriage things…. Ajay and Neha were sitting opposite to each other waiting…. Placing the bowl in between them Vishal got down from the stage thinking about Dipika's words….🤔

Outside the mandap…

Sandhya dragged Aadhya with her outside the mandap with the girls brigade following them….

Pushing her to the front Sandhya, hands on her hips asked angrily….

Sandhya: Ae Aadi… Us Vishal ke saath naachne ki kya zaroorat thi?

Aadhya: (Bewildered) DI!!! Maine kya kiya? Unhone dance ke liye company poocha to maine haan ki… Bas… Ab isme kya problem ho sakti hai?

Purvi: (Dejected) Problem ho gayi naa Aadhya… Tum uske saath naach rahe the, to humne socha ki tumne unko bata diya ki joote kahan hain!

Cynthia: Aur jab ise confirm karne Purvi aur main unke kamre gaye tab hi Zubin aur Shubroto wahan aa gaye!

Purvi: They were following us!

Aadhya: (Upset😕) Oh Di! Aapko mujhse poochna chahiye tha naa…. Lekin main unhe joote ki jagah bataoongi kyun?

Sandhya: (Hesitantly) Nai… Kal usne hi mere birthday party ke liye tumhari help ki thi naa…. Isliye socha ki uske badle tumne uskeliye kuch kiya!

Aadhya: (Smiling) Lekin Di..... Aisa to kuch bhi nahi hai... Kal hi unhone keh diya tha ki celebration ki help ka vo kuch bhi badle me nahi chahate.... He just asked today's dance as a help in fact!

Sandhya looked at her impressed… She looked about and saw Dipika walking towards the mandap with Vishal.... He was a gentleman… Shrewd gentleman she knew… But to so much extent!???!?!?!? 😉 As days passed she had no doubt why she was falling more and more in love with that weird guy…. Every girl's dream…. To get a life partner like him!!!!!!!!!! He was within reach…. But still she couldn't reach him…. He himself was stopping her and that hurt her so much! Why!??!? Why?!?? Why?!?!?🥺

Cynthia: (Was saying) ….. joote?!?!

Seeing that Sandhya was not responding Cynthia shook her lightly calling out to her….

Cynthia: Sandy! Kya hua??? Kahan kho gayi?❓

Sangs: Hey Sandy joote nahi dhoondhane kya?

Sandhya: Haan haan of course! Dhoondhte hain!

Rina: (Looking around) Lekin yaar Sandy… Tumne kaha ki joote ghar me nahi ho sakte…. Phir bhi tasalli ke liye humne andar dekha bhi aur theek hi hai… Joote andar nahi hain…. Lekin yahan bahar rakhne ke liye jagah kahan hai?🤔

Sandy: Jagah nahi hai to jagah bana denge vo ladke….. Lekin yaheen hain joote! Chalo scan the area… Laser beam haar maan le us tarah scan karo! Right girls… We are going to get it!😛

Saying Sandhya extended her right hand, palm up front…. The others girls confidently nodded and put their hands on hers…. 😉

Just then Feeling something tug at her skirt Sandhya looked down and saw it was Rashad…. Smiling she bent down and tapping his chin asked….

Sandhya: Hey Rashad Miyaan! Kya baat hai? Phir se mujhe dhoondhte hue aa gaye!?😳

Rashad: (Showing two shoes) Ye lijiye joote….

Saying he indicated his cheek.... Seeing it Sandhya looked shocked at the girls who burst out laughing…. Aww…. This kids was chooooooo chweeeeeeeetttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😆

Sandhya: (Laughing picked up Rashad) Nawaab ji… Aap ko kissie dene, mujhe joote ki nahi aapki ek sweet smile kaafi hai!

Saying she kissed him on both cheeks…. A beaming Rashad looked at her awed and the shoes slid down his hands as he placed a hand over his cheeks dazed!

Purvi: (Pinching his cheeks lightly) Ye aaj kal ke bachche bhi naa?!?!? Kya kya karte hain yaar!

Cynthia: (Laughing😆) Yeah… Chota Casanova!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sandy: (Laughing😆) Nahi yaar… Bachche to sachche hote hain…. They just react seeing films… Thode dinon me all this infatuation will evaporate… (Looking at Rashad who was still dazed looking at her) Back to school and this is all just a dream!

Mithra: (Picking up the shoes from the ground) Lekin ye joote?!?! Ye kiske hain, jise Rashad laya hai!

Sandhya: Are haan… Rashad ye joote tumhe kahan se mile?

Rashad: Hmm…. 😍

Sandhya: (Rolling her eyes smiling) Rashaaad…. Ye joote kiske hain?

Rashad: (Finally having heard her) Hmm… Mere Abbu ke! Unhone jab ise utaaraa main ise leke aa gaya!

Sangs: (Laughing😆) Oh My God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ye ladke sab bahut hi kamaal ke joote chor hain yaar!

Sandhya: (Grinning😃) Yaar bechare Aamir…. Joote dhoondh rahe honge.... Chalo... Pehle unhe unke joote dete hain…. (To the other girls) Girls… Tum sab yahan humare joote dhoondhna!

Just then Mrs. Agarwal peeped out from the mandap tent and called out to the girls….

Mrs. Agarwal: Ye ladkiyaan…. Wahan kya kar rahe ho? Andar ring ceremony shuru hone waali hai... Chalo chalo…

Sandhya: (Hastily) Guys…. Ceremony shuru ho gayi hain… It will be soon enough when they go back inside…. Usse pehle joote lene padenge yaar…. Jaldi jaldi….

Sandhya's friends all nodded and Mithra gave the shoes to Rashad…. The other girls plunged into a frantic garden research searching for the shoes while Sandhya, Purvi and Cynthia left with Rashad to the mandap….😳

Coming inside the mandap Sandhya saw that Dipika was putting flowers in the milk filled bowl!

Putting down Rashad Sandhya searched for his father and saw him standing with the boys group on the other side of the raised platform behind Vishal seated beside Ajay….

Sandhya: Ab Rashad achche bachche ki tarah joote jaake Pappa ko denge…. Theek?

Seeing Rashad look at her solemnly upset she smiled and said…

Sandhya: Aap joote deke wapas aa jaana, hum yaheen hain… Aur Rashad poori subah humare paas hi rahenge…. Theek?❓

This brought out a wide grin on Rashad's face as he nooded eagerly and went off weaving in between the crowd to his father!

Smiling Sandhya stood down beside where Neha was sitting on the stage…. She placed a hand on her shoulders and looked at Vishal seated beside Ajay on the other side….

Aryan was emptying a bag full of coins in the milk bowl…. For more confusion in finding the ring.....

Sandhya: Ah haaannn….. (Giggling😃) Abhi shuru hone waala hai such ka muqabla! Neha…. Dyaan se…. Hubby ko apne mutthi me karne ka issse achcha mouka nahi milega!

Purvi: Haan haan Neha… Such me haan… Ye khel ho sakta hai, lekin such me kaam kar jaata hai…. Baad me agar pati kuch ulta seedha kare, to ring dikhake keh sakte hain…. Ki unka lagaam humare haath me hai!

Dipika: (Sitting down beside Neha laughing) Sun lo Neha…. Experience is speaking for itself… Zubin ko dekh pata chal jaata hai!😉

At this everyone around too laughed and looked at Zubin…. Who shying smiled slyly while Purvi's face colored a bright red….😆

Vishal: Excuse me!! Aisa hamesha thodi hota hai…. Ek do shaadi me aise waise ho jaata hai… I mean Angel of luck sometimes pities woman…. Lekin yahan Ajay ka hi haath hai….

Boxer: Ajay! Careful…. Aaj agar haar maan gaya, to zindagi bhar gulami hi gulami karta rahega!

Haseena: (From the girl's side) Kyun?!??! Patni ki gulami karna achcha nahi lagta? To aap kyun karte ho?😉

At this Boxer smiled a little while others chuckled seeing him caught in his own words….😳

Sandhya: Wah! Wah! Haseena! Too good… Ladkon ki zubaan aur lagaam dono humare mutthi me hai… (Looking at Vishal hardly) Ye sab couples me dikh hi raha hai!

Vishal glared back at her and silently threatened her while Sandhya put out her tongue and twisted her mouth….

Mrs. Desai took out a ring and standing over the milk bowl said…..

Mrs. Desai: Baatein to bahut ho chuki…. Ab shuru karenge to hi pata chalega ki koun jeetega!

Putting the ring inside the bowl, she indicated the couple to begin… With encouragements from friends Neha and Ajay put their hands in the rose petals filled water and starting fishing for the ring….

Sandhya: Neha! Hum ladkiyon ki izzat ka sawaal hai yaarr… Come on find it first!

Shotgun: Ajay! Come on yaar…. Isi me to jeet le!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After around minutes of fishing around Ajay took out his hands triumphnatly holding up the ring…. Seeing the ring in Ajay's hands the boys group cheered aloud and booed the girls…. But as if nothing had happened the girls started speaking amongst themselves head held high!👏 😉

Mrs. Naik: (Smiling) Chalo…. Neha ki ring ko Ajay ne dhoondh li… Ab Ajay ki ring ki baari!

Saying Mrs. Naik put the ring in the milk bowl and flagged off another round of ring hunting…. As Neha and Ajay put their hands inside the bowl again to search for the ring Sandhya's friends entered the mandap… Rina walked over to Sandhya and shook her head…. Frustrated Sandhya looked around and saw Vishal looking at her smiling… With a twist of her neck she turned her face away from him!😕

This… This one action of hers squeezed his heart… Somehow he wasn't used to see her so upset and angry with him…. He knew she was just joking and just upset at not finding the shoes but still her rejection of him, didn't go down well with his heart…. 💔

Thinking something he got up and excusing himself walked off the mandap….🤔

The fight for ring was on…. This time it was taking a lot more time…. 🤔

Everyone around cheered and teased as Ajay and Neha fingered their way in between the rose petals and coins for the fish….😛

Little did they know what had happened inside bowl…. 😉

Ajay had found the ring but had not taken it out; he had let it go… Neha was feverishly fishing for the ring when her hands touched Ajay's… She tried jerking it back, but he held on to it strong…. Surprised she looked at him…. Smiling teasing he slightly shook his head…. Emabarassed Neha tried her level best to get her hands off, but couldn't… Helpless she continued her search of the ring pleading with her eyes to make Ajay let go off her hand!☺️

Dipika seated beside Neha watched Ajay lightly shake his head… Wondering what it was she glanced at Neha who was clearly pleading to him…. Thinking Dipika tried to look inside the bowl and just an instant when Neha was trying to struggle free from Ajay's grip she saw what Neha was pleading for…. Not able to contain her smile she chuckled to herself….

Zubin: (Scratching his head) Hey! Kya ho raha hai? Is baar itni der laga rahein hain dono… Bachche bhi dhoondh lete! 🤔

Dipika: (Giggling😆) Kuch bhi ho jaaye Zubin… Is baar khel itni jaldi khatam nahi hone waali!

Everyone looked at her puzzled at what she meant…. Seeing her glance towards the bowl Aryan looked that way and understood… Leaning over he pulled Ajay's hand from the milk…. Seeing him holding on to Neha's hands the group around laughed and cheered….

Mithra: Lo!!!! Pehli jeet to gayi paani me…. Nahi nahi…. Dood me… Dood me jeeta dood me haara!!!!!!!!!!!!!😆

The group around cheered as finally Neha managed to pull her hands from Ajay's grip…

Sangs: Lekin ring?!? Abhi dood me hai kya?

Smiling at Ajay Neha turned her closed palm upwards and opened her hands…. Seeing the ring in her hands the group clapped and the girls hugged each other cheering….

Dipika: (Smiling) Wah! Ye hota hai perfect couple… 50 50…. Rightly said life partner!😳

Saying she lifted Neha's hands for Ajay to put the ring…. Clapping her hands her eyes fell on Aryan besides Ajay who was looking at her amused…. Smiling she blushed a little knowing why he was looking at her like that… For the comment she had just given…. ☺️

Anything from her, different from what she used say amused him…. So much to the extent that he doubted whether he knew her very well… But he was in fact enjoying the surprises he received from her…. He liked her that way!😳

The friends and relatives around clapped as Neha and Ajay exchanged the rings…. The rest of the guests came up to the dais to wish the newly wed and give their gifts…. The boys helped in clearing the stage off the bowl….😊

Sandhya looked around and saw Vishal no where…. Now where could he be?!?!? Oh… Where the hell did he put those shoes? Hope he hadn't gone to check it out!!! Oh… She should have kept an eye on him!😕

Sandhya: Dipika! Tum Vishal se thodi der pehle kya baat kar rahi thi? Usne joote ke baare me kuch kaha?

Dipika: (Smiling) Nai… Afsos…. Actually main keh rahi thi…. Ki mujhe tumhara dance dekhna tha…. I have really have become your fan you know… Ab shaadi hui hai… Aur Vishal ne bhi hume challenge karte hue ek dance kar bhi di… Tum bhi agar….

Sandhya: (Smiling) Thanks for the compliments Dipika… (Stern again😳) Lekin no…. Jab tak joote haath nahi aayenge…. Tab tak no naach…

Dipika: Are haath aaya… Abhi yaad aaya…. Vishal ne ek message diya hai tumhe.... ( ternly like he had said) Kaha hai ki is baar joote tumhare haath nahi aayenge !

Sandhya: (Exclaimed😲) WHAT!??!? How… How dare…. Urgh!!!!😡

Rina: Sandy!!! Such me aisi koun si jagah ho sakta hai jahan unhone joote chupaya ho? Are yaar… I am getting irritated!

Sandhya: (Angrily😡) Seriously! Agar haath nahi aayenge…. To pair lagake hi dhoondh lenge…. That…

She was interrupted suddenly with a catch on her hand…. She looked down and saw it was Rashad…. Smiling she asked….😊

Sandhya: Pappa ko joote de diye!?❓

Rashad nodded eagerly indicating his father... Sandhya glanced over at Aamir talking to Mr. Malhotra and saw him holding the shoes… Wierd!??!? He could just wear them now… He must have taken it off when he had climbed the stage to wish Ajay and Neha… But now he would wear it!?!?? Well that was none of her business…. Her business was now to get at the other pair of shoes….😳

Everyone would be leaving for lunch soob and then the time would come when they would have to bargain for the shoes… With nothing to bargain for?!?! What were they going to bargain?!?!?😕

Praying for some miracle to happen to give her the whereabouts of Ajay's shoes Sandhya absent mindedly swept her eyes over the floor… And her eyes came zooming back to Aamir's feet and her mouth dropped open in shock!!?!?!?😲 😲 😲

Seeing it she was like Oh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn the boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😲 😡

But before she could react anything she heard the sound of music… Surprised she turned around saw Vishal standing at the end of the mandap….. 😳

He had his hands spread out towards her…. Her!?!?? Directly looking at her!!! Her!?!!😲 How many shocks were she to receive in a day!!!!!!!!!!???????????? ❓

Automatically she turned about and her feet took her towards him….😳

From her place Dipika smiled shaking her head…. So he did want to see her dance…. No one around her cannot admit been not a fan of Sandhya's dance…. She really was that good… And if her dearest friend wasn't the biggest fan…. Who else could it be?😉

She looked around and saw the boys and girls also joining Sandhya and Vishal…..

Smiling Dipika was about to leave when she felt a tug on her hand… She turned around and saw Cynthia pulling her….

Dipika: Cynthia! Main nahi!😲

Cynthia: Dipika! Chalo yaar… Sabhi is mood me aa gaye hain… Joote ho ya naa ho… Chalo naa!

Embarassed Dipika looked around and saw Aryan looking at her smiling…. What expression was that??!? She had difficulty in understanding…. But she knew one thing… She would never want to dance in front of HIM!!!!😳

But….

Cynthia was strong enough for her and pulled her out with her…. Swearing never to look at him she ran beside Cynthia to join the group at the back of the mandap….😊

As one by one the other boys joined in the dance Sandhya mesmerized saw him dance…. For her!?!??! But somehow she knew this dance was for her to dance… To make her dance…. And if that's what he wanted she would!❤️

Happy turning around she danced outside the mandap…. Turning around she indicated everyone to join her but looked only at him…. Vishal who doing a step stopped mid way happy and in fact feeling contended he had made her dance!😳

Dancing she went to him and pulled him with her to the dancing group… Stunned a little he looked at her glowing face… She was so happy now… And it filled his heart with happiness… Somewhere minutes before he had felt an emptiness…. He also knew if he didn't join her she wouldn't continue the dance! 😳

Both together.… Surprising everyone around…. Even Dipika, Aryan, Shotgun, Zubin, Cynthia, Purvi, Rina, Sangs, Mr and Mrs. Agarwal, Mr and Mrs. Malhotra, Mr and Mrs. Iqbal, Haseena and Boxer, Jerina and Aamir….. They danced… Like nothing had ever gone wrong between them!😊

Catching Sandhya's hands he rotated her around fast… Rotating around with her skirt rotating to the full length she danced with the other girls… While Vishal danced at the center….

Sandhya rotating about joined Vishal at the exact moment when he held out his hand for her to catch!😳

Just then Sandhya's attention was ruptured by some thing… Looking about she saw it was Rashad… Smiling she bent down and kissed him on his cheeks…. Looking up she glanced at Vishal who was only looking at them… But she could have sworn a flicker of jealousy had crossed his face….😉

Smiling he looked around and saw Dipika standing with Ajay and Neha tapping her feet… Ah hunh…. He scanned the line and saw Aryan standing on the other side of Mrs. Desai standing next to Ajay and Neha….😊

Now was the time…. 😛

Grinning he made way towards Dipika…. Seeing Vishal walk towards her smiling Dipika shook her head… No… She knew why he was coming towards her… But no… She wasn't!😃

Warning she tried to move back into the group… She ducked down behind the group and hid from his view…..

Seeing her suddenly disappeared Vishal jumped up and saw her hiding from him moving back inside the group…. Hmmm… Escapism!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not from Vishal Malhotra the Great!😉

He by passed the group and reached the other end before Dipika could… Seeing him no where in the front she felt relieved and came out at the back from the group…. Breathing out relaxed she turned around and straightened only dash her head against folded arms!😲

He looked at her with a "No matter where you escape… You have to dance" expression… Against her protest he caught her hand and pulled her to the front of the group…. Guys and girls dancing around never let anyone not dance and seeing Dipika was not dancing didn't go down well with them….⭐️

So they crowded around her and encouraged her to dance…. Sandhya dancing with Rashad came upto Dipika and hitting against her shoulder indicated her to dance!👍🏼

Cheering she joined the others for a wild cheerful performance!

Sandhya saw Vishal busy with Dipika and smiled... Now she could do it… She scanned about and saw Aamir and Jerina standing a little distance away clapping their hands…. Thinking she bent down and whispered to Rashad indicating his parents….

Rashad nodded eagerly and went off towards his parents to pull them in for a dance!😊

Sandhya danced with the Purvi and Cynthia and the other girls forming a line and catching each other's shoulders! 😃

Dipika in the front Vishal a step behind caught her from behind and danced in sync with each other's steps!😛

Sandhya pleased saw him distracted totally… She looked around and saw that due Rashad was insisting on Jerina and Aamir joining the dance…. She made way to the group and pulled both of them for a dance and finally they too joined the group!😃

Amused Neha looked at Ajay who nodded his agreement and smiling Neha threw back the stain red cover…. Seeing the gliterring silver on the large plate Vishal was holding Neha exclaimed….

Vishal turned around with the uncovered plate so that everyone including the girls could look at the silver anklets shining on the satin cloth covered plate!⭐️

This really hit Sandhya the girls who were standing hands on their hips… Their hands automatically slipped down from their hips as they stood numb looking at their gift….😲

Sandhya: (Surprised to Mrs. Desai) Aunty!?!? Ye…. Hum to yoheen mazaak kar rahe the…. Paise phir bhi agar hum lete to…

Mrs. Desai: (Smiling) Pata hai Sandhya! Aap log bas baaton ke liye itne paise maang rahe the… Lekin such me lete nahi…. Isiliye…. Ye payal… Hum ladke waalon ki taraf se aap logon ko ek toufa samajhke rakh lena… Baaratiyon ko chaandi ke sikke diye the aap ladki waalon ne… Aur ab ladke waalon ki baari hai ye dikhane ke liye ki hume kitni khushi hai, ki humne aapke yahan ladki li hai!😳

Hearing this every around became senti… Sandhya nodded smiling and looked at Dipika who nodded her agreement…. 😊

Sandhya went over to Ajay and put down the shoes in front of him and said…

Sandhya: Ajay! This was all in the game… Agar kuch bhi galti humse hui ho to we are sorry!😊

Ajay: Hey Sandhya! No…. In fact mujhe… (Glancing at Neha) Hume tumhe thanks kehena chahiye… This has been the best marriage celebration we have seen…. Aur ise chahakar bhi hum nahi bhoolenge…. So many of you, your friends have made this a memorable day for us…. Thank you so much!

Saying she took an anklet set from Vishal and gave it to Ajay… Sandhya glanced around at the elders who all nodded their agreement….

Sandhya: (Looking back at Ajay) Pehle joote pehena… Warna, neki dene ke baad bhi joote gayab ho sakte hain! And this time we will not be considerate!😉

The crowd around laughed while Ajay smiling nodded and slipped his feet in the shoes…

Then he gave the anklets to Sandhya… Thanking him she wished him all the best for his future, hugged Neha wishing her too and moved away while Ajay and Neha distributed the anklets to the other girls…😳

Walking a little away from the crowd smiling Sandhya looked at the anklets in her hands and thought this was the best day in her life… She never felt so much close to anyone like this other than her family…. Her friends… Of course they were always there… But somehow this Special Sqaud family was special…. Special in every way…. ⭐️ The bonds, the relationship they shared…. Without saying anything everyone was there for everyone…. And somehow she was a part in this which made her proud and happy!😳

Closing her fist the anklets she vowed to keep it safe for her lifetime!😊

Turning around she looked at Vishal laughing and talking with Aamir, Purvi, Cynthia and Dipika…. The only one now her heart yearned for was talking there…. She was getting happiness in her professional life, personal life, social life…. But the real life she wanted…. Was standing few feet away, yet… So many light years away… How was she to shorten the distance? ❤️

Reception!?!?? Oh!!!!!!!!!!!! Suddenly remembering she wound her way through the group walking to the back of the house for lunch…. She in time caught Vishal's hand before he disappeared in the crowd!

Vishal looked at her stunned and at her holding his hand…. He tried releasing his grip from her hand but Sandhya held it tight while she waited for everyone to go… 😲

Sandhya: Ek minute nahi ruk sakte the!

Vishal: Ae Jangali Billi…. Ab kya chahiye tumhe? Joote to jeet liye aur neki bhi naa!

Sandhya: Oie!!! Shaadi to ho gayi… Main ye poochna chahathi thi ki shaam ke dance ke liye prepared ho naa? Ek aur rehearsal karni hai?

Just then they heard Purvi calling out to them….

Both of them looked towards Purvi and nodding went off towards the back of the house!⭐️

Dipika: Aap log pehle upar aayiye…. Aur phool ko is kamre me (Indicating the room behind her from which she had come) le jayiye….

Vishal: (Interrupting) Lekin…😕

Dipika: Vishal! Tum thodi der chup rahoge!😳

She looked on as the workers came up and went inside the room…. Then rounding on him she hit lightly on his head, as he shouted in mock pain and said….😵

Dipika: Vishal! Buddhu tum ho hi, lekin is had tak pata nahi tha…. Sandhya theek hi kehti hai… Tum sab ladke naa…. Bilkul ghonchu ho!

Vishal: (Stunned😲) Usne aisa kaha??!? Uski kimmat…. Hum ghonchu vonchu kuch nahi hain… Maine socha kuch confusion me unhone keh diya ki upar phool mangvaye hain…. Mujhe kya pata tha ki aapke (Making action with his hand like a bun on his head) sir ke decorations ke liye…😉

Dipika widened her eyes in shock and glared at him which put a stop to his retort….😡 She opened her mouth to give him a peace of her mind when a voice said….

"Ghonchu nahi Dipika…. Ye Chilgose, maha ghonchu hai"😈

Smiling Dipika glanced back at Sandhya and saw her standing at the door, hands on her hips, glaring at Vishal…. Dipika looked back at Vishal who had an "Oh God" expression on his face and closed her mouth with her hands to suppress her grin….

Sandhya: (Coming forward) Dipika aapka hum andar intezaar kar rahe hain aur aap yahan is…. (Looking at Vishal in disgust🤢) Is…. Maha Chilgose se baat kar raheen hain!

Vishal: (Angrily😡) Ae Bandariya… Mujhe Chilgose bulana band karo!

Sandhya: (With attitude) Uff…. To phir tumhe kya bulaoon…. (Counting on her fingers) Stupid? Monkey? Donkey? Idiot? Er….. Well… Ye sab thode bahut decent hain…. Mujhe ek bura word aata hai to bulaya… (Smiling sarcastically🤪) Agar kuch aur word use karti, to tumhari izzat reh jaati and main aisa hone kaise deti!

Vishal: (Rolling his eyes in frustration) Wow! Tumhe decent words bhi aate hain!?!?!

Dipika: Sandhya….

Sandhya: (Interrupting) Aap chup rahiye Dipika…. (To Vishal) Haan aate hain… Lekin (Pointing a finger at him) tumse baat karte waqt aisa kuch mujhe soojhta hi nahi…. Tumhara chehera hi aisa hai ki mujhe aise hi kuch yaad aate hain…. Your mistake again! Aur ab, apni bak bak band karo… Kaam chor ho hi tum… Lekin sabko waisa samjha hai….

Vishal: (Shocked😲) Kaam chor!??! Main?!?! (Sarcastically) Dopahar lunch ke baad aap ladkiyaan jaake room me band ho gayeen…. Bahar kya ho raha hai, shaam ke function ke liye kya preparations karni hain… Kuch bhi poocha nahi, dekha nahi… Aur bade aaye….

Dipika: (Interjecting) Tch… Vis…😕

Vishal: Dipika! Tum beech me mat aana…. Aaj to ise….

Sandhya: (Flaring up😡) Kya? Kya? Kya kar loge tum? Shaam ke function ki zimmedaari aap ladkon ko di gayi hai…. To aapko karna hai…. Hume kyun beech me bulate ho…. Aur to aur ek choti se baat samajh nahi aati….. Aur bade aaye mujhe kuch kehene!

Vishal: (Raising his voice to match hers) Hume zimmedari di gayi hai iska ye matlab nahi ki aap log help bhi nahi kar sakte! Aur isme samajhne waali kya baat hai? Samajhna to aap logon ko chahiye….

Hearing the raising voices the other door in the floor opened and Mrs. Agarwal and Mrs. Malhotra came out…. Seeing Sandhya, Vishal and a helpless Dipika they looked at each other with a knowing look…. They should have guessed…. That if there was bickering in this house meant Vishal and Sandhya!😳

Dipika: Tum dono…. Ek choti si baat ko…

Vishal: (Exclaiming in surprise) Choti si baat…. DIPIKA!!!! This girl…. (Looking at Sandhya in disgust🤢) is calling your friend names and you don't even protest!

Dipika looked at him a little stunned… Oh…. Now what was she supposed to do!?!? He was right… But how could she tell Sandhya?!!??? Because secretly she enjoyed their fights… And she loved them to be together at least with this as a reason…. 😳

Dipika: (Helpless😕) Mai… Main kya karoon!?!? Sandhya to meri baat waise bhi nahi maanti….

Dipika looked at Sandhya who smiled a little only for her to see…. Then straightening her face immediately Sandhya said….

Dipika threw up her hand in frustration… She pulled Vishal near her and whispered something in his ears….. Hearing it Vishal looked at them all and grinned sheepishly, while Mrs. Malhotra and Mrs. Agarwal smiled a little shy seeing his stupid face….

Vishal: (Scratching the back of his head embarassed) Oh!🤪

Sandhya: (Smiling teasing😉) Haaaaan…. Ab samajh me aaya Maha Ghonchu!!?!?

Vishal: (Composing himself) Phir se….😲

Sandhya: (Keeping her elbow on his shoulder) Waise Mr. Vishal the Great…. Agar is tarah choti choti baaton ke liye apne police dimaag ko istemaal karoge to, to sachchi kaam ke liye kya karoge? Dimaag chalna band kar dega! 😃

Vishal: (Jerking off her hand😡) Hau!!! Mera dimaag itna bhi kamzor nahi hai… Ki is tarah choti choti baaton se chalna band kar de! Lekin haan... Tumse behas nehas karte karte to.... Dimaag hi nahi aadmi aur uske pushtein sab thak jaaye!

Mrs. Agarwal: Ab bas ho gaya…. Ek choti si baat par shuru ho gaye…. Jao ab… Kaam khatam jaldi karo… Der ho rahi hai!

Sandhya: Humne thodi kaam ko rok ke rakha hai… 😡 Ye sab iski (Showing a hand towards Vishal) wajah se hai!

Vishal was about to open his mouth to retort back when Mrs. Agarwal said in a final tone….

Mrs. Agarwal: Ab theek bhi hai…. Sab sabki galti hai…. Isse aur zyada koi kuch nahi kahega…. Sandhya… Andar jao…. Dipika tum bhi andar jao beta… Vishal tum neeche jao!

The two ladies looked at their son and daughter go respectively…. A smile automatically formed on their faces thinking about them…. They were adults but still fought like kids… And seeing them fight like this made the whole atmosphere lighter, happier…. Younger!😳

After a while….

Vishal: Oh… Ek minute….

Saying Vishal hurried over to the raised platform and said to the worker…

Vishal: Ye waala garland yahan nahi… Door pe lagane ke liye hai…

Worker: Lekin sir instructions to hume yahi mila tha ki yahan peeche lagayein!

Vishal: (Surprised🤔) Instructions?!? Kisne di?

Before the worker could answer a voice said… "Maine!"

Recognizing the voice Vishal turned around and looked at her glaring at him…

Sandhya: Door ke liye ek aur arrangement hai…. Lekin agar itna hi door ko sajana chahathe ho to khud jaake kyun nahi latak jaate… (As an after thought) Are nai baba nai… Tum latkoge, to koi bhi andar aayega nahi… Dar ke maare!😃

Vishal: (Angry😡) Kya kaha tumne? Ruk… Tumhe latka deta hoon… To….

Saying he was lunged to catch hold of her as she backed off laughing when Mrs. Malhotra intervened…

Mrs. Malhotra: (Sternly😳) Tum dono! Jahan dekho shuru ho jaate ho… Are abhi kuch minuton me mehmaan aane shuru ho jayenge… Aur tum dono abhi tak taiyaar hi nahi hue!

Mrs. Agarwal: (Coming over to them) Wahi to…. Sandhya tumhe dress karne me der lagegi naa… Jao…

Sandhya put out her tongue at Vishal and left to get ready for the reception….

Mrs. Agarwal: (Calling out) Aur haan… Sharp seven Neha ko neeche laana!

Sandhya turned around and nodded to her mom, glaring again at Vishal who was looking at her go…

Mrs. Malhotra: Vishal… Tum bhi jao ready ho jao… Kya is tarah khade ho! (Looking at the door) Agar tumhare department se koi aaya, to tumhe hona chahiye naa unhe receive karne!

Vishal nodded and before going looked at both the ladies appreciatively and said… Going in between them he put an arm around each of them and said….😉

Vishal: Aap dono to bahut bahut achche lag rahe ho… Jitni bhi saj dhaj ke vo ladkiyaan aaye, aapke saamne to… (With action) So so…😃

The ladies smiled a little shy and pushing him said…

Mrs. Malhotra: Hum kaise bhi lagein… Mere bte ko aaj shaam zabardast lagna hai… To jao!😳

Vishal nodded and kissing each of the ladies on the cheek skipped off to his room to get ready!😊

A beautiful day….. A beautiful evening….. A beautiful crowd….. Everything seemed so perfect….. And the atmosphere held the feeling of love…. Everything was right…. Everything was pure…. Not only this…. But it seemed as if the whole world were rejoicing at the moment….. Jokes, laughter, giggles, blushes, graceful comments floated in the air….😎

Amidst this…. Somewhere in the deepest of hearts something else was felt…. A secret…. A secret hung casually around, which might soon be revealed…. It seemed so much care and love would be around it! It was!😉 😳

Guests had started arriving…. Happy and smiling and greeting wishes around….

Ajay-Neha's reception was the grandeaur of the day!😍

The hall was exquisitely decorated… Blue and white duppattas hung from the ceilings and high walls…. Just below them glass hangings decorating the walls and throwing dancing shimmering lights all around…. All over wherever the guests looked they could see roses taped to the wall… Flower garlands were roped around the stair case railing all the way to the top… First floor was dimly lit with hanging Chinese lanterns along the first floor corridor just above the stair railing….😛

Disco lights were blinking lightly around the hall… Light disco smoke was swirling on the floor…. The fragrance of a soft room perfume floated in the air along with the delicious smell of the dinner starters….👏

--MUSIC--

Outside the house, the hanging serial lights were switched on… In between them the hanging ivy glittering in the lights made the house looked beautiful and picturesque…. Miraculously there was no trace of the tent that had been erected for the marriage… The lawn was clean and clear…. Watered fresh…. Along the driveway from the gate to the house a welcome red carpet was spread with lights and plants decorating the borders consecutively….⭐️

WOW! Was the only word the guests could utter as soon as they saw the house…. It was a dreamland!

Outside the house, men were guiding cars and other vehicles for parking in and around the house, so as to not block the public road!

Special door men at the house were cordially inviting the guests sending them in with a casual natural smile, which came along with the occassion….👍🏼

Ajay and Neha had not yet come but the others were all milling around the hall, inviting guests, looking after their needs…. Introducing people….

At the right side of the main door another platform, smaller one was raised temporarily and on that various technical instruments were set, with a guy managing them all…. DJ Naveen…. The popular DJ in the city of Mumbai was doing a great job with his treat of songs…. Fast numbers, romantic numbers, soft music floating them in the air on his will, his hand doing magic with music…. Neha's friend from college, he had obliged to take up the task of playing the music boy for her reception….😛

Boxer looking ever and different handsome was talking to the DJ Naveen…..

Seems like he was instructing something to him and the DJ nodded smiling and gave him a mock salute….. Smiling Boxer hit him lightly on his arm as the DJ indicated everyone to dance and shake along…..

Aryan with the juice glass in his hand turned around to see Shotgun calling him….. He excused himself from Mr. Iqbal and looked Shotgun questioningly….

Aryan: (Nodding smiling) Great! Jab vo aaye hum sabko hona chahiye unhe welcome karne.... Vishal ko bhi keh dena…. Waise Vishal hai kahan?❓

Mr. Iqbal: Aryan…. Everything fine!??

Aryan turned around and smiling at Mr. Iqbal said…

Aryan: Yes sir…. Bas Commissioner saab aa rahe hain to unki welcome hume theek se karna hai… Special Squad ke liye unhone hamesha apna support diya hai, in true and hard times…. Is strict, lekin unke position me koi bhi aisa hi hota!

As Mr. Iqbal nodded Mrs. Iqbal coming over to them said….

Mrs. Iqbal: (Smiling) Waise Aryan… Tum aaj bahut handsome lag rahe ho…. Aaj sab ladkiyon ki nazar tum par hi hai…

Saying she looked at Mr. Iqbal who nodded grinning….

He stopped at the decorated platform for the wedding couple and smiled…. The platform really looked beautiful and grand….. It was erected direct across the main door, right side of the stairs…. Roses and white flowers, in between green leaves as a small bouquet decorated the background, below a rose garland… Two throne chairs were placed on the stage for the wedding couple…. Directly above them white designer curtains folded out falling down to the side of the platform, like an umberella above them!

Saying Aryan left with Zubin to greet the Commissioner while from the other side Vishal, AC and the other police officials who were guests at the party came forward to greet the high official!

Seeing him go Mrs. Malhotra smiled and looking at the closed door in the first floor smiled… Looking back at Aryan talking to the Commissioner she smiled and told to herself….
