This episode of Apni Tuning Jamegi came on Sun Nov 27, 2005. That day i was watching it with disinterest, as nothing of Bhanu was being shown for long. But i had a nice surprise waiting.it showed a lot of things and he said a lot of things, will try to recall as much as i can.


first the camera goes straight into his house, bhanu
is caught unawares and smiles and welcomes the remotely watching viewers and the hostess..his bed is untidy, his shirts and all over it...and he takes care of it quickly.
smiles and says - aayiye .

and the hostess asks so this is whr aryan khanna lives, and how is he today..bhanu says this is where bhanu uday lives. asked abt the similarity betn him and aryan he says aryan khanna is all that i am not (life style wise, larger than life image wise) but i had imagined always abt someone like him...so i really enjoy being him even in a make believe. hostess asks him abt ppl being extremely heart broken abt his leaving the role of Atyan - he says i've not left being him....he'd continue to be in ppl's minds and i'll look back and cherish him...but the way his life came to a closure is perfect, ppl like him live and lastly die for a cause, with incomplete dreams of personal happiness, they are immortalised...besides i want to explore other but equally interesting shades of characters. and when its coming - not very late, but i'll not do waht i dont feel like.

and bhanu says he is waiting for his frens to drop at his place and he'd go shopping then dinner with them.

so meanwhile he continues his talks of his life...

he is originally from jammu and is the only son/child of his parents...his father is an IAS officer settled there...clearly he didnt expect bhanu to become an actor,but didnt really stop him when bhanu made his aims clear...he completed his studies and then again joined NSD and learned and honed acting skills. he were offered roles that he didnt like and refused...Farhan Akhtar's Lakshya he took - it seemed small but substantial, he was approached by balaji and ekta kapoor for the role of Kavya in kavyanjali but cudnt be talked into it as the depth and complexity also the reality, the unique combination of shades of humanity but with perfection that he wnated in his character was totally absent. Finally he was approached by UTV FOR ARYAN'S ROLE and he says he agreed without negotiating any price...money will follow...good roles are what i need.

he keeps the reply short and minimum - some ppl liked the current shows, others are going to like the coming ones or both...am i in a position to comment even? i havent seen them...hope they r good.

so what are your shows that u like to watch?

bhanu - some here and there, but my love are books, i like spending time with them and feel more attuned too.

and what sort of books...?

aryan doesnt care if he is going to be shot next minute while i am not prepared for it..laughs... 😆

though i accept death as a sure fact of life, aryan lives only and only for others, i what to do a lot of things for others but i've to it for myself too... and aryan is lot more organised...at home i like lazing around.

Agree you trupti,Bhanuji aap ghar main lazing around pade rahte hai,humara Aryan office se ghar hi nahi gata toh ghar toh organised rahega hi naa,our chair par jata hai😆kabhi koi baat ka tikana hi nahi rahta Aru ka toh organised kaise exceptions in cases
