All the ladies came back to their places happy to continue to watch what was more in store!

Sandhya hurried forward to the curtain just as Dipika also came from behind the curtain…. Hugging her she turned back to the audience!

"A wonderful performance….. (Glancing at Dipika) Can we have another round of applause please for Dipika Gosh!" 👏

As the claps resounded again Dipika bowed a little thanking for the appreciation! ⭐️

"Are wah! Kya baat hai? Pyaar ke izhaar ki halat dekhi? Khaana nahi… Peena nahi… Humari dulhan to kaam karna tak bhi bhool gayi thi…."

At this everyone looked at Neha smiling who herself was surprised at this…. Of course she was happy, happy never like before the day she and Ajay had gone out for their first official date…. And yes her state of mind, body and soul was just as described in the song…. But forgetting work? Well… That didn't happen anytime…. She smiled at the exaggeration… But reminded herself that the tale may depict her life but somewhere it was depicting the state of all the lovers too!

Just then Dipika asked Sandhya questioningly….

"Sandhya… Mujhe ek doubt hai?" ❓

"Haan poochoo naa Dipika!"

"Jab ladkiyaan pyaar me padti hain to hume pata hai kya halat hoti hai…. Humari dulhan bhi sharma sharma ke chehara laal kar deti thi… Hum ladkiyaan jaante hain… (Winking at Neha) Lekin ladke??? Dulhe raja ko to sab ladkiyon ko pyaar ke phool dene ki aadat thi… Lekin ye alag baat hai ki koi ladki unki taraf dekhti nahi thi…." 😉

"Haan Dipika… Such hai…. Agar koi ladki dekhti bhi to shayad un par taras aake hi…. (Laughing as others laughed too) Humare dulhan hi us par zyada hi taras khaayi aur shaadi tak aa hi gayi…" 😆

"Hmm… Lekin mera doubt ye nahi tha….."

"Tch… Phir kya hai?"

Dipika walking over to Neha….

"Hai bhi…. Sab ladkiyon ke peeche bhaagne waale humare sahib zaade ka bhi… (Pausing and smiling) Dil hai hi…. Sachcha dil jise unhone humare dulhan ko hi diya hai…. (Hugging Neha from behind chin on her head) Phir kya un par bhi aisa koi nasha chaya hoga?" 😳

With a surprise in her voice Sandhya carried forward the conversation….

"Are re re re…. Dipika! Aise kya pooch diya? Ladke hain naa…. Ek kathal jaise hote hain…. Bahar jitney kaantein dikhte hain andar se utne hi sweet bhi hote hain….. Phir un par pyaar ka nasha kaise chadta nahi? Aur humare dulhe raja bhi issse alag thodi the…. Unka pehla, sachcha pyaar jo tha…. (As if deciding) Hmm… To chalo…. Dikha hi dete hain…. Ki pyaar ka pehla nasha kitna pagal banaya tha use bhi!" ☺️

At this everyone laughed in the room as the curtains started to move out and Sandhya hurried over to be seated in front of the couch with the others….

Outside….

Hearing Sandhya's introduction Ajay got shocked thinking of the prospect of now him been depicted in the song…. He wondered how would be his representation…. He really hoped it was good…. Already giving an introduction the girls had damaged his reputation him! 😃 Well… All was fare in love and war! And marriage!

It was actually a surprise that the girls were depicting something good about the guys…. Never happened like this in any sangeet…. They were used to teasing guys and frying their brains!

Boxer and the others also laughed silently at the Casanova Suri been teased and immediately turned their attention to the next performance…. 😉

The pots of plants were still there added to by few flowering plants beneath the stairs…. The swing and water bolw were also still there…. Before the water bowl however a mattress was laid and someone was sleeping on it, blanket covering from top to bottom making it impossible to say who it was… Also behind the bowl at the end of the stair case area there was a wooden partition generally used for changing dresses….

And on the other side the motor bike had come on again…. And someone was lying on it jacket over his body and a hat over his face! Definitely 'his'… A guy, the audience easily guessed with the attire…. Or atleast a girl dressed as a guy! 😛

From behind the staircase slowly smoke started covering the floor…. Like the ones used during stage performances!

The bedsheet below the stairs started to move.....

Someone got up from it as if waking from sleep and stretched their hands.....

As the blanket slithered down from the person the ladies clapped to see it was Aadhya wearing a night dress, or at least it was easy to guess…. Only the night dress coat over some sort of dress…!

With a swift movement the guy was off his bike swinging the jacket on his shoulder smiling with the same dreamy expression like the girl.... 😳

Since the song was a slow romantic number all the movements were made slow and stretching to give it the true effect of how love was slow and serene and beautiful!

The guy hands stretched out rotated round his space beneath the stairs..... He jumped on the swing catching the top railing for support and swung on it!

The guy jumped down from the swing on his knees and with outstretched arm, dipped back slightly lipsing the lyrics perfectly…. He straightened and winked at the audience! 😉 😉

--MUSIC--

The guy then sat on the bike which was facing the audience.... Wearing his jacket he geared up his bike and started to ride.... Air started to blow his hair and the audience turned to see that Purvi was blowing air on the person with a device usually used in cinemas and dramas to blow air on the actor's face! 😃

The guy riding the bike left the handle bars stretching out his hands enjoying the breeze blowing on his face!

Suddenly the bright lights went on and a dreamy white light came on with the smoke getting thicker!

The guy on the bike smiled wide as he caught a pair of hands that had come up from behind him…. Slowly Aadhya peeped from behind the guy and looked at him smiling! She swayed a little as the guy caught the bike's handle bar again riding the bike!

Surprised the audience saw that Aadhya was sitting on the bike?!?!? 😲

Seeing her there they wondered how she had got there, but few people could guess that she might have used the way under the staircase to come from that side to this…. Since that area was dimmed they definitely couldn't and hadn't noticed any movement on that side having fully concentrating on the guy! 😉

The wind stopped blowing suddenly as Aadhya stepped down from the bike with the guy still holding her hand….

Indicating the lyrics exactly the guy punched his hand up and brought down on the ground, kneeling down in front of Aadhya, with an extreme feeling showing on his face…. 😍

He looked up at her smiling as she caught his face and lifted him up and kissed his forehead! 😳

The guy caught her hand and rotated her around…. Rotating behind him Aadhya left his grip and moved under the stairs!

Now everyone knew how Aadhya had come to this side of the stairs! 👍🏼

The guy then lay down on his back and hugged the jacket which he had been keeping in his hand, smiling looking up, at the wide sky....

Outside…

Ajay, Boxer, Zubin and Shotgun looked at each other grinning…. 😃

Then Ajay, Boxer and Zubin, Shotgun each took each other's hands and started to dance outside! In a slow duet motion! 😆

Aryan and Vishal looked at them surprised and had tough time controlling their laughters…… They rolled their eyes heaven wards and turned around to watch the performance…. In and out… They had tough time eyeing both! 😉

The guy blinked once, looking around just as the white light also faded and the smoke reduced! The bright light came on….

Grinning he ruffled his hair and got back on his bike…. Clearly it was all a dream!

Vishal was watching the sweet performance when he felt someone tap from behind….. Surprised he turned around and saw Ajay, Boxer, Zubin and Shotgun standing there…..

He stood up and questioned them…

Vishal: (Whispering) Kya hai? Performance dekhne do naa!

Saying Vishal turned around and started to watch the performance….

The lights on the guy's side dimmed as the lights came on the other side where Aadhya was!

Attention turned to that side of the stairs now…

Outside…

Vishal winced feeling a crush as Ajay, Boxer, Shotgun and Zubin all came and squeezed beside him….

Irritated Vishal was about retort back sternly when Ajay said.…

Ajay: Ae…. Vishal sun naa…. Hum kitni der yahan hi rahenge?

Vishal stole a confused glance at Ajay and turned back his attention to the performance and asked....

Vishal: Matlab kya hai? Jab tak inki ye sangeet khatam nahi ho jaati aur hum andar garba ke liye nahi chale jaate!

Boxer: Are yaar! Inki kab khatam hogi aur hum kab yahan se jayenge!

Zubin: (With a serious face) Haan! Aur to aur raat hone jaa rahi hai…. (Slapping on his hands) Machar bhi aane lage hain….. Yahan se aur mazaa nahi aa raha hai!

Vishal: (Puzzled still watching the performance) Matlab kya hai ki andar jaana hai hume?

Shotgun: (Smiling) Wahi to! Theek wahi to keh rahe hain!

Stunned Vishal stood up and looked at them as if they had all gone mad! 😲

Aadhya was pouring water to the plant…. Kneeling down she smelt the sweet fragrance of the pink rose…

Smiling she moved over to the bed with the same loveable, shying expression on her face and started folding it! She folded the bed and keeping it aside sat down on it hands on her cheeks supported by her knees, thinking!

Outside…

Vishal: (Incredulously🤪) Pagal kaise hote hain ye suna tha, ab dekh raha hoon….. Main ye soch raha hoon ki agar un ladkiyon ko pata chala ki hum yahan hain to kya karenge aur tum log andar jaane ki baat kar rahe ho! (Folding his hands) Mujhe baksh do bhai!

Saying Vishal turned around to watch the performance!

The other four guys looked at each other in dismay…. Watching from out was fun…. But from in was the real effect… They thought Vishal would side by their idea and do something, but alas!😕

She swayed on the bed and getting up rotated on the spot with her duppatta flowing behind!

She climbed the dimly lit stairs dancing, jumping, flying but still on the ground….

Outside…

Seeing the performances upfolding in the sangeet the guys badly wanted to go in and see from a comfortable position….. But as Vishal had asked it was like the CBI sealing the door…. No one from outside can open it, unless from inside….

Sighing Ajay just glanced sideways and was about to turn back his attention to the performance when his eyes fell on the event manager…. He was mumbling something and coming from the gate, clearly irritated from his face expression…. Ajay glanced towards the gate and saw the watchman there talking to a guy…. The guy looked like from the Banjara group who had come to play the dhol…. 🤔

Puzzled he pulled a stunned Boxer with him and went over to the manager….

Boxer who was watching the beautiful performance felt the drag and stumbled a little before straightening back again….. Sensing some disturbance beside him Aryan turned around to see Ajay drag Boxer somewhere.… Before he could call out to them they were few feet away…. He wondered where they were going in the middle of the show?

Smiling he turned back to watch the performance considering that men had hundred reasons to go anywhere, anytime! 😉

Aadhya was on the stairs landing holding her duppatta high….

Just then the lights on the stairs brightened white as she put down her hands along with her duppatta a smile lighting her equally bright face…. The smoke thickening again…. The air had started blow around strong!

Forget to eat yet you live… Forget to sleep yet you are fresh…. Forget the world but you do your regular works…. Forget your name but would respond to an unheard call from somewhere far beneath your heart!

Boxer: (Confused😕) Maamu! Ajay! Kahan le jaa rahe ho? Itna achcha performance chal raha tha….

Ajay : Boxer ! Performance baad me dekh lenge….. Lagta hai gate me kuch problem hai!

Only then did Boxer notice some disturbance towards the gate and decided it did require investigation!

Now the audience noticed the girl dressed as guy standing behind Aadhya… She turned around blush all over her face and was about to go back down when the guy caught her hands and she moved back to him….

They hugged each other briefly and curling her right hand around his neck she dipped sideways to her left, closing her eyes…. Letting her outstretched left hand blow her duppatta!

Ajay and Boxer had reached the manager just as he reached the main door of the house when they heard him mumbling….

Manager: (Upset tone) Sandhya madam to meri shikayat karva dengi....

Boxer: (Stunned😳) Mr. Natwarlal…. Aapko ye marriage contract Ajay ki maa ne di thi…. Naa ki Sandhya ne! To phir aap un se kyun dar rahe hain?

Manager: Unhone strictly kaha hai naa, ki sangeet me disturb ki to mere agency se shikayat kar dengi…. Ab to vo mere job ko cancel karva denge…. Aur pata nahi kya kya hone waala hai ! Mere agency….

Ajay: (Smiling😊) Mr.Natwarlal…. Aisa kuch nahi hoga… Sandhya aisa kuch nahi karegi…. Bas mazaak kar rahi hogi, kyunki ladke kuch plan karenge…. (Confused) Lekin aapne kaha ki sangeet ko disturb ki to? Matlab kya hai? Aap sangeet ko disturb kyun karna chahate hain?

Manager: (Hesistant) Ji sir... Vo…

Boxer: Mr.Natwarlal…. Agar aap hume bata dein, to shayad hum aapki koi madad kar sakein ?

The manager looked at them for long and then deciding nodded and indicated the man at the gate to them and told them the problem!

The white light went out on the stairs…. After a second the other lights came on brightening the stairs again!

Surprised Aadhya opened her eyes and saw that she was in fact holding the railing of the stairs dipping back with her hand outstreched….. The guy had gone missing…. Smiling she straightened hitting her head lightly slid down to sit!

After listening to the manager…..

Boxer: Oh to ye problem hai ! Mr.Natwarlal…. Aapko fikar karne ki zaroorat hai hi nahi… Waise bhi andar vo dhol bajane waale kuch nahi kar rahe…. Unka kaam andar ho gaya hai…. Andar ladkiyon ka kuch performance chal raha hai….

Manager: Haan sir… Lekin ye theek nahi hai naa… Marriage ke liye book kiya tha unhe… Regular hain humare agency me…. To poore function tak unhe rukna hai naa!

Boxer: Shayad isi wajah se vo aadmi bhi aapse request kar raha ho…. No problem Mr.Natwarlal… Aap Sandhya ki fikar chodiye…. Aap Ajay ke mom ko phone karke bata dijiye…. Vo intezaam kar dengi…..

Ajay: (Suddenly) Ek minute…. Mr.Natwarlal… Kya aap us aadmi ko thodi der aur rukne ko keh sakte hain…. Hum abhi aaye!

Saying Ajay dragged off Boxer with him to the side of the house…. A confused manager seeing them go went back to deal with the guy at the gate….

Now all around the lights brightened and the audience now noted that the guy was back down beside his stairs but leaning against the stair from the side!

Seeing from front it was clearly visible that Aadhya was sitting on the stairs and the guy standing down, both their heads against the railing but not touching each other….. Both in their dreamland… Smiling!

Outside…

Boxer: Kya baat hai Ajay? Vo aadmi bechara pareshaan…

Ajay: (Smiling interrupted) Boxer hum Special Squad investigators hain…. Har incident me humare faida ka kuch dhoondte hain… Aur is incident me sangeet me andar jaane ka raasta main dhoondh liya!

Boxer: (Puzzled) Tumne kya?!?! Maamu…

Ajay: (Interrupting) Tch… Suno naa…

Ajay started to explain his plan…. Just then Shotgun and Zubin who were with Vishal looked back to see them speaking enthusiastically and wondered if they were scheming some plan to get into the house for sangeet!

--MUSIC--

Both Aadhya and the guy had their eyes closed and their expressions clearly reading that they were dreaming about their love!

The music ended with again thunderous claps echoing around the room and the curtain came on again!

Then Ajay, Boxer and Zubin, Shotgun each took each other's hands and started to dance outside! In a slow duet motion!

Oh my God??? did they gone mad.??? Sab to pagal hai. i know.. but Shotgun also??

And ajay ko shadi se pehle marne ka irada hai kya? when girls will come to know , band baj jayegi.then they dont need any other dhol.😆😆
