And yes… They were proved right when Sandhya came out from the curtained area still dressed in her dance attire speaking… Her voice loud and clear, romantic…. With full expressions of the introduction on her face! 😛
"Hai!!!!! 😳 Pyaar…. Ishq…. Mohobbat…. Prem…. Hmmm…. (With a sigh) Kya kya kar deti hai? ❤️Jeena haram bhi karti hai… Aur jeene ki taakat bhi deti hai…. Ladki ko uska pyaar mil hi gaya aakhir me…. (Glancing at a shyly nodding Neha) Thoda pareshaan kiya, lekin aakhir humare hero ne maan hi liya…. At this Sandhya faltered as she remembered that she had not got her first love.... Even though she had vowed to make him accept..... Somewhere his actions defintiely hurt her... Especially him been so near her..... Yet so far! 🥺
Outside....
Vishal leaning against the window was interestingly listening to Sandhya's introduction, straightened when he heard her voice falter.... Though far he could see that she had becomg upset.... He had heard her every word and knew why she had paused..... 😔 He knew her so much... He knew her as much as his self..... But still... He couldn't just ruin her life just because she loved him!!! No he could never do that to anyone.... And never to her.... The only person he had ever loved truly, from the bottom of his heart! 😒
Seeing Sandhya was not continuing further, Mrs. Agarwal seated near by went up to her.....
Mrs.Agarwal: Sandhya! (Smiling) Kya hua? Kuch bhool gayi?
Immediately Sandhya changed her mood, smiled and putting an arm around her mom's shoulder led her to her place....
"Tch... Nai Maa.... Maine kaha naa, pyaar ka ehsaas.... Use thoda to mehsoos kijiye... Iske liye waqt diya tha sabko! (Making her mom sit and turning back to the audience) Kyun sabko yaad aaya vo pyaar ke ehsaas? 😳 Jin jin ladkiyon ko yahan pyaar hua hai, unhe to pata hai ki ye ehsaas kaisa hota hai... Lekin jinko nahi pata.... Unke ke liye ek chota sa preview deti hoon.... Phoole samayein bhi sama nahi sakte…. Baatein kayi, bata nahi sakte…. But… Our musical journey will definitely portray it to you! And here's for you…. The feelings of a girl fallen in love!!!!!!!!!"😳
As the introduction got over she went back behind the curtain and everyone's attention turned to the parting curtains… 😳
The stair case area was darkened…. Nothing visible… 🤔

The lights also came on slowly brightening by the moment….
First down near the stair case…. Both sides of the stair case were now set to look like a garden area…. Plant pots set around… The right of the stair had a broad swing… Seeing it Neha recognized it as the one that had been moved inside the room to make more space….
The left side of the stair case had a large bronze bowl filled with water and few flowers in them…. This bronze bowl was the one adorning the center of the hall… Which was also temporarily moved out of the way for the marriage decorations…
Neha smiled thinking about how Sandhya had made use of all these properties from the house... Now she knew why she had wanted to come to this house few days before the marriage....
And then all eyes at the same time rose to look above the stair case, in the first floor corridor…. A small light had come on the direct center on the corridor above…. Just enough to recognize a form standing there, much enough to guess it was clearly a woman, her back towards the audience…. She was clad in a beautiful bright red salwar…. 😳
The duppatta held behind her diagonally cross to her right….
Air was blowing strong above and it was a little guess that few pedestial fans were at work in the corridor above…. 😛
Also the lights on the stair case came on simultaneously…. The left side stairs were empty…. The right side stairs had few girls sitting on few steps and chatting….
Just as the music picked speed the girl's duppatta went flying from her hand landing down on the wide landing where the stairs divided into two… Seeing it the attention of girls' sitting on the staircase diverted up and smiling they stood up….😳
Slowly the girl above for every beat rotated from her place to her left… And after three rotations came directly to the place from where you descend the stairs on the left…. Just as she reached the place all the lights near the stair case came on and mouths fell agape in wonder as they recognized the girl at the top of the stair case…. Expecting someone else they hadn't expected her! 😲

Hands outstretched Dipika came down the stairs as the other girls also swayed to the music.... The front girl picked up the duppatta.... 😳

She turned around to come down the wide stairs but the first girl caught her hand, shaking her head.... Behind Dipika the six girls divided standing three on either of her sides....

Standing on the landing they did few steps showing actions like heart flowing out and running away and questioning themselves as to where.... Depicting the lyrics.....
Where?? A question only answerable by the person who is in love.... Because the girl only knows who had stole her heart to whom even though she tries, her heart wouldn't stop from been stolen! ☺️

They rotated on the spot with a small step towards left and right…. Dipika and the girls in perfect sink which made the group dance a treat to watch….
Most of all, the main person to be surprised and stunned and happy and liking and well with a mixture of emotions was Aryan Khanna! 😲
He had seen her dance before... Not in person.... In last year's dandiya night video..... Well.... that was dandiya.... People who knew to dance, who didn't know to dance... All danced..... But yeah, it was different that Dipika had danced wonderfully 😉 But here.... As in a performance.... He never knew she was such a graceful dancer..... Smiling he thought, what more he didn't know about her! ❤️
Stunned as he was the others outside were also surprised and all heads immediately turned to look at him….But um hum…. 😳 He was busy watching her…. The beauty, the simple beauty, the grace, the smile… A soft smile…. Which could come only from your heart….
She was looking gorgeous! Damn gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😍
Seeing his expression others had tough time controlling their smiles and hence didn't take that effort…. But they glanced at each other knowingly and smiled back to watch the dance!😊

Dipika with the girls on either side of her slowly descended the steps swaying left and right... As if a part of the dance the front girls on either side of Dipika tied both the duppatta ends to her wrists..... 😛

Breaking free the hand barrier she danced in between the audience group rotating around with every line….

The girls followed her and chased her around teasing her asking her as to why she was so happy and flying sky high? Dipika chided them with her hands and came back running to the make set garden.... When the girls didn't stop chasing her she sprinkled water from the wide basin beside the stair....
Vishal hands on his chin pinched himself twice to come to reality…. Well he new the girls were practicing for the sangeet… But had never expected Dipika to dance alone…. And that too for such a song…. He smiled… 😳 For the past few days to be more precise for the past two days he had felt a difference in her… Something about her had changed…. She was freer…. More willing…. A tension which was always around her was no more…. He wondered what this sudden change meant!!! 😉
He had talked to Sri before going to Pune…. She was very excited and wanted to tell him something but had not…. Saying Dipika had denied her from telling to anyone…. Hmm… Was this some kind of positive indication? He knew it was… But how and what?!?! He had to find out soon! His detective mind at full gear! 😃
Little did he know that he didn't have to wait for much long!

Slowly walking like a graceful princess she came out from under the stairs and ran in between the seated audience, by passing the girls who were looking out for her near the stairs.... She reached the other end of the hall near the door, where there was wide space...
Exactly in wide view of the window where Aryan was secretly watching the performance... 😳

Since she was under the fan and also the night had started to set in there was a chill around perfect for her to depict the expression required for the line…
The girls had followed her taking their positions in a line behind her….

Seeing her come that way Ajay and Boxer behind Aryan ducked in time…. But Aryan still was watching her mesmerised… Seeing that they might get caught they hastily pulled him down just as she exactly stopped in front of the window…..

She made a swift turn around as Aryan surfaced again…. As she moved away from the window her duppatta brushed his face… ☺️
Surprised Aryan looked up and smiled… Now he knew why guys were crazy behind girl's duppatta's? 😆 Only just for a second it had grazed his face, but he felt a sensation like he had never before…. His heart had skipped a beat to endure that velvety softness…. Afraid in the process of pumping blood it might lose that serene touch….. 😳😳

Of course.... Little did the people around her realize that now this was exactly her state of mind....

Standing up she moved in between the row and danced around catching the duppatta behind her as the group performed in the wide space, hands linked and rotating around....
Dancing she couldn't help thinking about him.... She sensed him around her, near her and chided herself for thinking so... She knew he was out there in the garden with the others.... Well... That wasn't far either!😳
Since the time she had decided that waiting was not going to give results she felt like a small kid who was given the priceless possession it had been yearning for....
She felt more younger like a college going girl who had just realized what love was....
Why not?!?? This was her first experience.... And love for her was not like for others starting with wonderful memories... Her love had started with doubt, lived in doubt till date.... But now.... She could see no doubt... Only clear picture ahead.... Her love future was green!⭐️

She turned around and walked over to where Neha was seated with few dancing steps....

She then pulled her, her mother and Ajay's mother on to the floor… With much hesitation they came on and danced few steps….
All… Aadhya, Cynthia, Purvi, Mrs.Malhotra, Mrs.Agarwal, Haseena's bhabhi also came on the dance floor….🥳
Laughing others also danced to what ever steps came to their mind… Some hooking hands and rotating around…. Some catching hands and just swaying to the music….
Dipika went around in the group and caught each one of them in turns and took them in a duet stance and rotated around the floor… Smiles, blushes, laughters heard along with the music…. It was fun with all… She switched partners around and danced with the elders too….
The group girls also mingled with the group dancing their steps… A perfect formation in a dis organized form was beautiful to watch…. 😛
It was nice to watch all the ladies enjoying to their fullest and dancing steps they could think of for the song…. Ordinary day, ordinary life…. Any where outside… They could never enjoy like this… Maybe this was the reason ladies sangeet was separately celebrated so that they can at least enjoy to their fullest with the marriage as the reason!😳

In the process of dancing with everyone Dipika had reached the stair case…. Just as Sandhya came down the stairs smiling.....
Pulling Dipika to her, she also danced her swaying sideways.....
As the lyrics started the ladies stopped dancing but swaying to the music turned their attention to the performance…

Moving around the stair case and from under it Dipika reached the swing…. Swinging it she went around and sat on it….

She lied down partially on the cushion enjoying the unspoken words of her heart…. Closing her eyes never wanting the happiness, the peace of her heart to leave and become a reality….

The girls reached Sandhya and indicated Dipika..... Nodding to them she went over and awakened Dipika from her mesmerized dream as she woke up surprised.... Then pulled her back on to the dance floor….

Dancing with her and the other girls hands folded Dipika danced back to the front of the stairs....

The group formed a line with Dipika in center and had their hands on the shoulders of the person in front of them…. They swayed sideways, back and forth in the same fashion like a train….
Sandhya went back to the audience and urged them all to dance too watching the performance!

Dipika broke free from the formation and danced to the end of the line....

She bent back as two girls supported her to dip backwards..... Jumping up she repeated it with the other pairs rotating to them....

Each of the girls caught her hand and rotated her around passing her to the next girl....

After the six girls had got their chance to rotate Dipika around, they formed a circle with Dipika in the center holding her duppatta spread wide behind her and circling in the center, looking up with a smile never like before....

Breaking the circle the girls rushed to the stair case taking positions on the sides of the wide stair way…. Catching the railing with one hand they extending their other hands to make a sort of tunnel….
Running back or more to say dancing back up the steps Dipika pulled each of the hands down…. Reaching up she turned around and sat down….
Lying down on her back on the stairs she threw back one of her hand resting it above her head and the other hand over one of her raised knee…. The other girls surrounded her facing outwards and leant back with her! ⭐️
From the other end the the women watching the dance knew no limits while clapping…. It was a beautiful performance needless to say…. And the grace and beauty with which Dipika had performed it gave more beauty to the song! 👏
Did anyone know that a little stern and reserved Dipika would perform like this?!?!!?!? 😳
Guess marriage occasion does bring out best in everyone….. You expect the unexpected to happen! 👍🏼
Outside...
everyone clapped along with crowd..... Of course remembering that they would have to stop when the ladies in did!
She was excellent! 😛 Aryan too clapped still unable to come out of the mesmerisation she had formed around him…. Even after the claps inside stopped he was still clapping, slowly thankfully…
Hearing claps even after the sound in the hall stopped everyone turned around to look at this over enthusiastic happy person… The whole group near the door tried finding the source of the sound!
Outside...
Hearing this, the guys turned towards each other as the sound seemed to come from near by… Seeing it was Aryan Ajay, Boxer stopped his clapping hastily just after three claps…. Surprised he looked at them as they looked back at him scolding for nearly giving them away….. Coming back to reality he smiled back saying sorry…. 🤪
Inside the room the ladies who had been looking around for the continuing source of sound discarded it as some extra appreciation and turned back to the stair case hearing the next introduction!
Outside...
Vishal stomped over to Ajay and Boxer and asked sternly what was happening? They hissed back that it was Aryan who looked up at them casually as if nothing had happened…. Vishal was about to retort back for his carelessness but had to hurry back to his place hearing Sandhya's next announcement! 😆
