Written updt- 23/5/07- Alak’s Miscarriage

Hello! Here is the update for today.

Shagun says ma over the phone and runs downstairs. She runs out the door and is seen by the kaka of the house who has a where is she going expression on his face. Shagun sits in an auto is really worried. Meanwhile Akangsha, Ira and Slach are shown walking towards the mandir steps. Shagun holds her stomach. Sumir comes home and goes in his room for Shagun and doesn't find her there. Shagun is crying and praying. Shagun reaches the Bhardwaj house and runs over to Alak. Alak opens her eyes and shuts them. Shagun keeps on saying ma.

The kaka tells Sumir that he saw Shagun worried and also tells Sumir that he saw Shagun run out of the door.

Shagun walks Alak to the auto and takes her to the hospital, where Sumir comes and asks about Alak.

Alak comes to know from the doctor that she lost her child.

Amaji looks for Alak but couldn't find her anywhere. She comes downstairs and finds the oil and mess on the floor and gets worried. Amaji to herself says hey Bhagwan. Amaji has tears in her eyes and also says My heir.

Alak begs the doctor to not tell Shagun the truth bcz she is also pregnant. The doctor says that one day or the other everyone will know the truth. The doctor calls the nurse and tells her to call Shagun. The nurse does. The doctor tells Shagun and Sumir that the child is absolutly fine.

Alak outside says sorry to Sumir for ruining his and Shagun's plans. Sumir says it's ok. Alak tells them to drop her off at the mandir bcz she has to thank the god for saving her child. Shaugn protests but later agrees.

Ira, Slach, Akangsha come home to see Amaji sitting on the sofa looking worried. Amaji asks Ira if Alak is with them. Ira says no. Amaji gets worried. Ira also tells Amaji how in the mandir the dia went off. Amaji says that the locket she tied on Alak for the safety of the child is also broken. Amaji also says that she also doesn't know what happened to Alak. Ira tells Amaji that she should go to her room and rest but Amaji says that she will wait for Alak until she comes back. After Amaji goes to sit on the sofa Slach to herself says What could have happened to Alak?

Alak comes to the mandir all broken while the Hey, Hey..is playing in the backround. She questions the goddess as to why she took her child away from her. Alak says to herself out loud that she doesn't know what will happen when the truth about her child is out. Alak says that she will hide the truth from everyone and has audio flashbacks of what the doctor told her. Alak says that she will not be able to tell the truth to anyone.

Alak comes home and tells Amaji, Akangsha, Slach and Ira about what happened to her. Alak stops in the mid-sentence when she starts to say about what the doctor said about the child. All look worried.

Amaji asks Alak as to what the doctor said. Alak tells everyone that the child is safe and so is she. Amaji is really happy and says to Alak that the new locket will be made by tommorow. Alak says ok.

Sumir and Shagun come home with a shopping bag each. Shagun says to Sumir that she bought everything the color blue. Sumir says that he bought everything pink. Sumir says he wants a girl just like Shagun. Shagun smiles and says that she has a feeling that it is gonna be a boy. Alak on the other hand is crying. Shaugn says that the child talks to her. Alak is cryiing when she hears footsteps. Alak wipes her tears adn it;s Shantanu. Shantanu says that he is happy that the child and her are safe. Sumir puts his head against Shaugn's stomach and starts talking to the child. When he gets up he tells Shagun that she said that it was a boy but it was a girl who was talking to him. Shagun laughs. Alak hugs Shantanu and says something which I couldn't quite catch due to a phonecall. Epi ends on Alak's face.

It was an OK episode. Nothing much except the cute moment of Sumir and Shagun at the end. No Triveni. No Damini. No Abhimaniyu. No Avni.

thanks for update. how can alak walk out of hospital like nothing happened after miscarriage ? if she was not far enough how can be sure that baby is boy. and how can she hide it from her husband ?
