Siya Ke Ram is seeing a major phase right now. In the middle of the Rajya Sabha, a commoner Badra has raised a question over King Ram's big heart to accept his wife, after she stayed at a stranger's place for so long. Ram gets too hurt by Badra's words, which tears him down. Ram could not bear anyone calling Sita impure and doubting on her character. Ram knows well about Sita's generous decision to accept Vanvaas and accompanying her husband to obey Patni Dharm, bearing Raavan's tortures, and lastly giving Agnipariksha to answer the society. But, the Praja is Ayodhya is not aware of it.

Ram meets Guru Vashisht and shares the problem with him. Guru Vashisht also tells Ram about society's beliefs and Raghukul's Dharm. Ram has given equal status to Sita in his life and made her sit on the throne alongside him. Ram goes among the Praja to know what they believe, and gets to hear things against Sita.

With growing problems, Ram falls in big moral dilemma. He talks to his elders and gets the same customs known. Ram is much worried and his behavior turns rude towards Sita. He is himself much broken within and realizes Sita is getting hurt by his behavior. Ram then decides to leave Ayodhya's throne and resign from the position of Ayodhya's King. His ancestors remind him the traditions of Raghukul and what they expect from Ram. Ram then takes a decision and calls for Laxman. He commands Laxman to leave Sita in the forest.

I was thinking that maybe they will show Sita herself going to vanvaas protecting Ram's honour. But here they are showing Ram behaving rudely to Sita and telling Lakshman to leave Sita in the forest.

I am damn sure that Luv Kush are going to question this to Ram and all Praja including the washerman about banishing Sita while pregnant

They are showing what actually happened. It was not Sitas decision but she accepted it gracefully. Pregnant or not it was injustice and ram already has said In Skr he wants luv and kush to do exactly that. He has exposed the fault in rules and luv kush will do the necessary.
@shivam bhai whatever version I have read or heard have said ram know pregnancy but still the Maryada purushottam was in a position to take such a decision.

What i think that it was injustice done by the praja , if they couldnt have failth on their queen , then on who could they , it was a shame really

Not Ram and Sita . I would like to call it ill fate for them , there was curse due to which vishnu had to be separated from lakshmi

Ram was torn between being a husband and King at same time , he didnt want Sita to get Hurt , and similarly Sita didnt want Ram to get hurt due to constantly being pressured to serve kingdom before his personal life

Regarding pregancy being known or unkown , it differs in various versions

Right bhai His responsibility as King gave him tough choices.
Injustice ayodha did to his daughter bhai from shanta to Sita. But ram vindicted Sita and brought justice for shanta
It was unjust of the Praja to doubt her after AP.
Agreed.

In Valmiki Ramayan, Ram never tells Lakshman to leave Sita in the forest. He tells Lakshman to leave Sita near Valmiki ashram, as he knew the sage would offer shelter to her.

This is a big difference. This proves that Ram never abandoned Sita. He just sent her to a place where she'd live in peace and harmony without facing the insults of society. Thus he has fulfilled both duties as husband and King. As King, he has removed the person who is causing unrest in his Kingdom, and as a husband he has seen to his wife and future child's needs by leaving them in a safer place than Ayodhya.

In Valmiki, Ram always knew Sita was living in Valmiki's ashram, and he knew his children were born there too. Although it's not mentioned, it's possible that his spies kept him up to date about Sita's welfare too.

I completely agree that ram fulfilled duties as husband and King but this is new to me

I wish Ram gave up the kingdom to one of his brothers and left for another exiled life with sita. This would have changed the way society looks at women or treats them. Who cares if the woman was held hostage by someone, if her man loves and respect her, they have every right to be together. Why does the honor of the society is placed on a women's shoulder. Sad

Ram giving up the throne and none of the brothers would have accepted it for we had seen in the 14 yrs what had happened. Also ram uses the same power to vindicate Sita forever. He removes even perceptions about her being impure. As a husband he had done his duty but that is just not being understood. Through and only bcoz of Sita he exposes the loopholes in Smrithi. The golden effigy was his answer to the toll of culture which had fallen on him. In real he had protected her honour.
If they had done like u said they wouldn't be worshipped.
Ayodha will understand finally what ram wanted them to but by then the happiness( lakshmi ) of ayodha will be gone and painfully they understand the lords message
