He was, in my POV, caught in Dharma sankat. Siya or Raja Dharma. Shri Rama was the ideal man, the ideal king. What rules apply for the praja, the same rules apply for His wife also. They say that when you want to show people your seriousness about some issue, use a family member to show it. When you hurt yourself by showing your seriousness towards your duty, it is then that you are doing the correct duty. As a King, Shri Rama's first duty was to be a King, then husband. As a king, He had to choose His Raja Dharma over His Pati Dharma.
As a wife, Sita understood His decision.

The king of Ayodhya makes an appearance today, taking control, completely overshadowing the husband as well as the warrior who fought the war to free his wife. Equating Hari and Lakshmi as the divine,I can justify his actions, as a devotee I can accept his actions if not understand or even embrace them, but as a woman I realized today on seeing the precap that I still had the same ambiguous feelings of betrayal ,pain and a helpless love Sita would have gone through at that moment. My absolute conviction that my better understanding of Ram would make it more palatable burnt into cinders{pun intended}😲...Well Hari's maya 😆!
Shruthi ,you have encapsulated Kaikesi excellently, so nothing more to add to it.

Yes Di it was also more like choosing public welfare than personal well being. Bcoz with Sita the ravan in the minds of people are killed. But the maryada purushottaman didn't fail as a husband as shruthi Di says by taking blame for her exile he vindicated her now and forever. In front of God the rules are same for all. Krishna bent the rules only to bring about a change and only dharm was motive. If the rules were bent then the bent rules were same for everyone but people misinterpret the leela purushottam at times.
Bringing in ur fav topic Krishna😃 but pls don't res😆

@Savitha yes from outside it looks hurting as a woman. That's what I said. Hari's Maya. He breaks rules without breaking.
To do his rajadharma and pati dharma he had no other option. He knew his wife. She wont go to Mithila or anywhere else. She will try to commit suicide only. From that the proof of what Sita will come. Why he waged war for her will come.
This is my take. Will put detailed analysis after episode. As far as I understood Ram he breaks rules creating the illusion of not breaking it.
Everywhere else he does it more or less alone. But in this case he needed Siya's help. Her understanding of his rajadharm and help him do his pati dharm also. Sita gives him that.

She knows for whom he waged the war. And she shows the world why the war was waged.

He didn't fail as a husband. Never. Sita always resided in His heart. The people only did the physical separation. Emotionally, SiyaRam are one, and always will be.
Hari Maya is unique.

About Leela Purushottam, I have so much to say. Will maybe type it out late night 😳

Breaking rules without breaking that's the perspective that most of ur analysis on Shri ram has given me. And Di was it suicide intended or pariksha?
What did the pun mean @savita Di

@sanju as far as I understood Sita tries to commit suicide asking Lakshman to create the pyre. Then God of Agni comes in front of Ram and asks him to take Sita back as she is pure.

Yeah , though it was intended as suicide , both Rama an Sita knew that the fire couldnt Harm Devi Sita

It was u can say a Narayan - Lakshmi Leela to show and proove thee world of Sita's Chasity , as for Lord Rama , he didnt need any proof that his wife was chaste
