What an episode. Ram sitting in front of the Parnakudi when Sita closes the door. That scene was just superb. Reminded me of Kopabhavan. Where Kaikeyi without any remorse asks for boons. Dasrath falls and tells he sacrifices her. Today it was a replay. Only thing was in the receiving end it was Ram. All his pleas Sita hears. But then with firmness and detachment closes the door at him symbolically rejecting him. The same way the door was not opened to her when she called Raghunandan multiple times.

Now come the mother's . That was a beauty. Injustice happened to you. It is a pity that it happened to you despite of us in the palace. Really where they blind to the injustice happening to the daughters of Ayodhya. Yes their son's dream was shattered. He lost his family. Now he should get his family back. What about those poor girls who was sent for Rishisringa. What about Shanta herself for whom none from the palace went till Ram decided to take them. With woman in palace , with queens in power justice was denied to the daughters of Ayodhya.

Now coming to mistake. Was it mistake. No it was crime. A real crime in the name of rule. That was Sita banishment. But forgive Ram. Think about children. They have got the family after long time. Sita gives it back. The kids can go. But she will not come. Now why Ram's mistakes should be forgiven. Kaikeyi also did a similar mistake if you call Sita banishment a mistake. Sending Ram to forest with the boons she has been granted. Then why she was discarded, why it took 14 long years for her son to accept his mother. Why Kaikeyi is still a despised figure.

When it was a woman who was discarded, when it was a woman who was criminal it was easy to point fingers. But when it came to a man words like forgive, mistake happened all coming out. If a mother doesn't stand up for her herself, her daughter and other woman a day will come they will have to stand in bowed head in front of a woman because of their son. That is what Hari does to all the mother's when they stand begging in front of Sita. Because it was their silent approval to the double standard rule of Ayodhya Sita banishment happened. It was because they allowed themselves to be victimized, they prided themselves on being the mother of a son this son greed increases. Because a woman herself thinks daughter is not worthy to have. If a woman cant support a woman who else will support her. But repentance of queens is obtained for what happened to Shanta.

Now Hanuman -Ram. Hanuman tells Ram use the rights of a husband. Ram tells he has lost all the rights. Hanuman tells for the sake of kids he has to ensure Sita comes back to Ayodhya. And we see Ram falling at his wife's feet, holding her hand, asking her to come back. The beauty was Ram doesn't hesitate to ask the sorry earnestly. He tells Sita don't give the punishment of his action to entire Ayodhya. This was beauty. Ram took the action so that Ayodhya gets punished, its double standards get punished. He knew for Sita self-respect was important. She will fight for it. She will make everyone realize their mistake. For the first time Ayodhya is bowing in front of a woman. Ram makes it possible.

@Charvi you noted one point beautifully on Prakriti, when to open, when to close. If we want Prakriti's door to be always open we have to follow the laws of Prakriti. The laws of Prakriti never changes, but laws of Sanskriti can change if that law makes Prakriti close the door.
Another line that interested me that Sita says if you insist I will go for Ajanthavaas. Again this line also makes me go in loops, connected with Hanuman's line I will protect her even if earth opens up.

Earth shall not return
It will revolve on its axis
It will fulfil its responsibilities and roles from the resources that are with her .

Today prakriti answers ...
Her answers are her actions
Let's go back to the barnishment scene ..

The earth uses her resources to make sure everybody is benefited
It's ironic that we go on destroying the land and then when it's completely destroyed we go on blabbering that the earth is not fertile
And blame it on her ..

Now the land goes of , so there is only water fire and air ( the three sisters ) so the imbalance is ought to happen .

Now the land is destroyed and barren anf they blame it on her and leave her
Now they try to get her back adding all the reasons , cursing their thought but it's too late
They are completely alienated
The land refuses to come back

The 3 elements come to her and she feels rejuvenated , but coccons her own self as there is no respect .

She gives message that prakriti can show her power .
So if sanskriti can leave prakriti
Prakriti can very well do that

The cloosing of door ..

For sanskriti there is line of maryada which doesn't change
For prakriti there is door which allows changes
But can decide when to open and close

Very beautifully described. 👏

What a plethora of beautiful episodes. Just caught up with the last few ones. A lot of ironies marked the flow. The people of Ayodhya who had mercilessly slandered a woman's character and reputation and forced their king to send her away, today stand in front of their king filled with remorse and repentance. Luv Kush opened the Pandora box with their hard hitting questions and forced a kingdom to confront its own prejudices and rigidity. The husband and father who has been waiting for someone to question a king's decision silently is overjoyed. Hari is even more so for he has been waiting for along time for this dawn. He does not let this fade out .what follows is a series of fabulous moves by this master player. He uses every emotion in his arsenal to force everyone from his Guru to his family and his people to confront their weakness which has been cloaked under the guise of tradition and morality ,that has led to oppressive behaviour towards the women in their society. Ashish was excellent in depicting the fluctuating emotions of Ram.👏
Another irony...the king who banished his wife on the hearsay of these very people now stands in front of them stating his intention to bring his wife and sons back to the palace without any further proof...a mental slap to the people who did not hesitate to reject the proof of agni pareeksha and ripped her world apart with their thoughtless slander. Hari imparts another part of his lesson.
A beautiful symbolism in her journey and his. She left alone in darkness with a heavy heart not even knowing her changed circumstances. He embarks on the mission to restore her dignity with the very people who had been responsible for her devastation and in broad daylight and filled with the knowledge that she would not come back...

Ram reaches the ashram, his eyes hoping for a glimpse of his Sita . But Hari true to form deals with his allies first. A father goes in search of his sons to present his case. I had a feeling that they won over his heart again by stating that their anger towards him was entirely for the pain caused to their mother because of his actions . He must have felt immense pride at his hope for his unborn child coming true.
Then the most difficult part of his journey begins. An husband walks towards his wronged wife. The door to her home is closed. He does not knock but she has already felt his presence and is standing at the other side...a loop at the time of banishment reopened. He pleads for her forgiveness...his repentence is real but the door doesnot open. The elements in universe tries to help them both by swinging one of the doors open...but she for the first time in 12 years looks at him and closes the door again.I loved the lyrics in that scene..."her love propels her forward, but her self respect prevents her from taking that last step'.He walks away heart broken.
Hanuman comes to him and once again acquaints him with the core issue. All this has never been an issue between a husband and a wife.It was never the husband, after all, who banished his wife but the king.So it would have to be the king who has to take over the husband to look for the resolution for this stand off.The king with renewed sense of purpose talks to his wife again. Here again the symbolism of the place was highlighted.
The husband apologizes for depriving her of her home, but a King falls down on his knees in the midst of the same fields that his decision had forced his wife and queen to rebuild her life...

@Savitha good analysis. Hari gives slap after slap😆😆. No one can do anything. Yes I too loved the lyrics. My self respect is important to me. Madi carried the pain dilemma and firmness of Sita very well.
