But, I am loving the discussions and the water chronicles! Charvi, elements are your domain! And Anokhi di, you are right. Adharma thrives on the silence of Dharma, it is the catalyst. The biggest sin is to remain silent when Adharma is happening, not doing it. This mistake was committed by Bhishma and the other people watching the Vastraharan and the Lanka parivaar. That is why they were killed before the real sinners- their punishment was more needed!

I feel sorry for Meghnadh, he was crushed under his father's expectations. Sruthi di made a post on this, check it out please! And post some analysis, we need more people! 😊

Actually In reality , Ravan didnt have expectations from Megnath , beacuse he didnt need to , after All megnath had prooved time and again His Abilities.

He wasnt Called Indrajit for Nothing , Defeating the King Of Gods , against whom Raavan was also defeated.

But even knowing about all his capabilities and valour , Megnath still tried each time to out do his previous achievements so as to stay a pearl in the eye of his father , and this is what drove him towards Adharmaa.

After his initial fight with Ram and Lakshman , He knew he wasnt fighting Mortals , but Avtaars of gods , and no way he was going to defeat them

But still he carried on to uphold the honor of his father , therby paying the ultimate price

So, in the episode where Ravan became Ram and went to Sita, I said that he had two sides. One was when he was infront of her, his Ram roop. That may have had the name of Ram, the embodiement of love, but on the inside is bubbling when he hears Sita mocking him, like Venus. The other roop when he was behind her was his real identity, Ravan. He is the supporter of war and violence, and is stone-hearted both on the inside and outside, just like Mars. Even though Venus may be brighter than Mars(or have more Dharma), it can not match the Sun, Shri Ram. And the Earth, Sita, is only attracted to it, and rejects Ravan, in both forms, once again.

Didn't Ravan expect Meghnad to kill Ram and Lakshman, he failed though every time, and that failure of gaining his father's respect killed him in the end.

Do you mean that because Ram isn't there now, the sky is completely dark, and it can't see anything else expect the ring of Sun (the hope to see Ram again)?

Anokhi di, I meant like the surface of Mars is stone and rock, as well as the interior. Also, being the god of war, Mars had to be stone-hearted! 😉

you didnt understand me

What u are saying is on the basis of what is shown in SKR , What I am saying is what's written in the epic in Real

Megnath and Parshurama were the only Persons having all the Trinity's Prime Weapons .

He Was the Ace of Spade for Raavan , like a trump card
Raavan always knew that the strength of his son was equal to him , if not superior

So when Megnath is not able to Kill Lakshman and Megnath goes back to convince his Father to release Sita Maa , Raavan is Furious ,, but deep down inside he knows His End is near if he carries On . Megnath being not able to defeat , it said all about ram and Lakshman's Identity.

But what comes in way of Raavan making a sensible descicion is always his Pride and Ego , due to which he cant see things from the correct perspective , even if a small part of him knew the truth
