21/7/2016Yesterday episode I will divide into 2 parts. First is killing of Vajramusthi, second Ravan coming. Now coming to Vajramusti. Ram once again beautifully shows how to destroy asura Maya flowing with Prakriti. It is said that Vajramusti is made of rock and no weapon has an effect on him. What is the prakriti of rock. Yes it is hard. But can it be broken. yes. If you understand the pores in it, that gentle gap between rocks. You keep dynamite in the gaps, in appropriate points to break rock. Ram observes, observes to find the pore, to find that little gap in his rocky body. instead of reacting to Vajramusti's call for battle, he waits, analyzes, once understood where to hit makes the move and come. Vajramushti doesn't understand what took Ram so long or what Ram has understood. He says you are a midget. But Ram shows yesterday where is power is when Hanuman lifts him. That eye to eye communication of Ram-Hanuman was beautiful yesterday. Both Ashish and Danish excelled. And before Vajramusti understands what stuck him, he explodes. Once again it showed if anything comes in front of us, try to understand its Prakriti. Don't go against Prakriti. Flow with Prakriti. Prakriti has solution for every problem. In life our major problem is going against Prakriti. Instead of trying to get wings, we try to fight against gravity to go on top. That is the case with everything.
Second part. It is the 4th day of battle. Once again dharma, artha, kama, moksha. On 1st day Ram shows his knowledge or dharma when he creates the vyuha to protect his army and asks leaders to stand in front. It is to understand the enemy tactics, before exposing the army. On day second Ram's wealth is in charge. Sugreev, Hanuman and Lakshman owns the day. On day 3 Ram shows his power by bringing down Vajramusthi. Forcing a Ravan to come on day 4. Day 4 stands for moksha. Look at the dialogue Ram tells. I will not grant you moksha till you have paid for every crime you committed, till every tear of Sita is taken care of. So Ravan though has come for Moksha, doesn't get it on 4th day, because his karma baggage is not complete. He has to see his kul nash, his kingdom nash before he can ge given Mukthi.
This is where we have to understand why certain people , certain egoistics are given long life by God. For the crime they have committed they have to see destruction, destruction of their ideology, destruction of their family. Moksha if given is an easy escape. Living a life responsible for the destruction is hard. See we have to understand how Karma plays in certain life. Once you understand it, then you will become more tolerant and more patient

Good analysis , Shruthi. I too loved Ram-Hanuman scene, no words are spoken but Ram's intent and Hanuman's understanding of that ,was quite profound. Danish has certainly improved in his expressions. This is the first time I am watching' Lanka kand 'without skipping a single episode. Ram's qualities of leadership and his integrity is brought forth clearly and beautifully by the CVs. Moreover I am loving the fact that Sita is not just an observer in this fight of 'dharm' and 'adharm', she is the power ,Lakshman comes across as the strength and Hanuman as the bridge between them and Ram in this war against Ravan. This battle reminds me so much of the Mahabharat war. Ram and Krishna exhibit the same shrewdness and calmness. Ram never lets his army lose sight of the righteousness of the war and in doing so elevates a personal cause to a common and a collective plane. Isn't the main difference in Ram's and Ravan's attitude? In Ram's army even while fighting together the individuality of each person n the army is never lost or unacknowledged, but Ravan never lets any individual's capability take precedence over his ego. So in a way the war is already leaning towards Ram's victory .
I too loved that walk ,Shruthi uff ... that stance, the demeanor👏.
Sorry I have not been that regular, but my husband has been transferred and since we are moving to a different continent, there is so much to do.From school to residence everything is completely diff...Well as Krishna wishes...anyway I may not write but I do read all your posts on my mobile.

So true Shruthi ! The moment I read your short message after having watched the episode, I realised it was the walk that had impressed everyone yesterday !
Very well done by Ashish and the chemistry between hanuman and Ram was too good too!
You very well put that point of observation that Ram had done before he took on his enemy was very nice presented in the show .Goes to show however big the problem or enemy may seem the knowledge of the inevitable weakness gives the less mightier to deal with ! Just as often as we keep discussing , lessons , lessons and more lessons to learn from our epics ( for simple life situations to war strategies ) it is for us to keep our eyes and ears open !

As always enjoyed your Analysis of the episode !

@Savitha yes Ram the leader and Krishna the mentor. Actually there is beautiful path crossing. Ram fights, at the same time create more fighters each with their own strength.
Yes you said rightly Ram made a personal issue a collective cause. If it can happen to me, it can happen to you too. Sugreev has experienced it. His wife taken by someone. Leader should acknowledge the contribution of everyone. Ram clearly shows it
@vipraja best thing about SKR has been showing Ram as an individual. And what makes that individual special. Every facet of him is dealt with. Son, brother, lover, husband, a fighter and now a leader. The character growth over years is beautifully depicted.
