What an episode today. It was Shakthi in all glory. Power that corrupts, power that controls, power that attacks and power that love. It was all about power today. From the beginning Meghnad is attacking Lakshman's Prakriti. It is said that Meghnadh is coming through the 5^th door. What does 5^th sense signify. Your feelings. Your emotions. What does Laxman do. Emotions control him and he goes to fight Meghnad without discussing with Ram, without discussing with vanar sena, ignoring Vibishan's warning.

I have always maintained never follow. Today Laxman makes the cardinal mistake of following Meghnadh. Whenever we are in the strong hold of enemy and enemy is making us run, think twice. Don't allow emotions, curiosity to take charge of you. Wait till help arrives. No just like Ram running behind Mareecha, Laxman runs behind Meghnadh.

We also have to see Meghnadh is in the chariot and Laxman on the ground. That itself shows the power structure. What was beautiful was the way Laxman attacks Meghnadh first. He breaks the wheel of Meghnadh's chariot. Meghnadh falls. It was beautiful symbolism of taking power of Meghnadh. Taking the wheel means, taking the life of Meghnadh.

Then they battle out. With swords and then in hand to hand battle in the mud. Laxman catches Meghnadh by neck but his hands are free and Meghnadh evokes the weapon Shakthi hitting Laxman. This is where the knowledge of Laxman fails. Knowledge that instead of neck he should have gone for Meghnadh's hand that doesn't allow him to hold any weapon or his head making him unconscious so that he cannot chant any mantra. Emotions and half knowledge cost Laxman a lot.

Interestingly when Meghnadh evokes the weapon Shakthi, Sita evokes the Jagat Janani Mata Gowri herself asking her to protect Ram and Laxman. The shakthi of sanskriti will have to battle it out with the shakthi of prakriti.

Now cut to MB. Laxman breaking the wheel of Meghnadh's chariot reminded me of Karna trying to lift the wheel from mud. Power is gone, nothing else works at that moment and Arjuna sents the arrow. Today also after hitting Laxman with Shakthi Meghnadh goes. He doesn't wait to see if Laxman is dead or not. He assumes he will be dead as no human has gone from that place alive. In MB Kauravas forget Krishna as he is without weapon and in Ramayan Lankawasis forget Hanuman as all they are after is vanvasi Ram and his brother. The defense of Ram comes, takes Laxman and brings him to Ram's place. Today Laxman took the impact of Meghnadh's power. Power which cannot be used again. Lanka has used its worst power, worst poison today and who else but Adhisesha himself takes that poison.

Yes Ram and Laxman are tied with the rules of humans. But Hanuman is not. Not understanding him is the biggest mistake Ravan makes. That too after knowing how he came met Sita, burned Lanka and went.

In every battle we need to know our power and enemies' power also. We have to know our defense and understand enemy's defense. Today Prakriti is defeated by Sanskriti. But Prakriti will hit back at Sanskriti controlling the emotions. Maya is controlling one's emotions. Not showing one's true intentions. Krishna does Maya. But not for selfishness, but out of free will, for betterment of others. You also can use Maya to exercise free will. If you have to get power, you have to use Maya in this world.

Another interesting point is in Ramayan it was Meghandh who had Shakthi. And Laxman and Hanuman finally takes it down.

Come to MB. Challenge of Arjuna was not one person but 2 people. A Karna with a Shakthi and a Jayadratha who got a boon from Lord Shiva he can hold the entire Pandava army except Arjuna for a day. Narayan, Rudra and Arjun works to elimate these 2 people.

Think of Kaliyuga how many such power centres will be there and to dismantle each how many such Arjun's with the support of Narayan and Rudra will be needed. The corrupted power is the bane of our system. It takes down Abhimanyu's with impunity day in day out. It is time Arjun's stood up and fought it.
