Thanks for the article Janvhi di, that really helped. And ya, Shirley di, take your time. We're all waiting for you! In the meantime, I have got another story...

Rama was ordered by sage Vishwamithra to kill Yayati an ally of Rama to which Rama obliged. Knowing this Yayathi went to Hanuman seeking his help who in turn promised him that he would save him from any kind of danger without knowing that it was Lord Rama who was coming to kill him. Hanuman did not use any weapon in his battle against Lord Rama, instead stood chanting Rama's name in the battle field. The arrows from lord Rama's bow did not have any effect on Hanuman. Lord Rama then gave up and sage Vishwamithra relieved Rama of his word seeing the devotion and courage of Hanuman and gave Hanuman the name "Veer Hanuman".

Good evening
Was busy in wattpad indulging in books now I gonna gear up and study 2 weeks since I touched my books
Coming to the point u guys made a wonderful analysis
Just will add my thoughts and doubts
One thought which has been disturbing me from night is why didn't hanuman take Roma with him to sugriv???
And the sage bhrigu curse story will be shown tonight even God can't escape karma learn to face life as Sita says sorrow comes only when we resist reality for a dream
Rams words they may lie but it's our duty to protect made hme think how many times in life do we do things expecting the other person to behave the same way but here selflessness do ur dharm and be satisfied. ram keeps his promise to dasharath even when everyone opposed him bcoz airplane takes off against the wind not with it life would have gone a straight path but Sita and ram chose a narrow path with love and reverence.
Sita only her body is going to be imprisoned by ravan never her mind
And I have a doubt when ravan was not impressed in syamwar by Sita beauty how does he become lustful here ???
And when Sita trusted Rams ability to rescue her from Lanka how did her trust flinch now ???
Ravan is bringing his own downfall for success can never be got by a persons loss and there can never be one great person as Krishna says there is arjun but there is karn and when will ravan realise this only at his death bed.
Sita is safe with ram
Ships are safe in ports but they are not built to stay in ports
quote which I found striking resemblance from Tu
Just did a 5 min job and I didn't deeply think as I read urs and night will try to be better next time as now I gotta go sorry for mistakes
What I felt about mareech he thinks of personal good moksha if he dies by Rams hands but by his desire of personal good he becomes a kinda medium for worlds good
@ Shirley Di when u feel free pls post management views
@ dd just a request can u pls put everything in English as I don't know Hindi pls
@ shruthiravi Di nice comparison between Krishna going as representative of pandavas and that was portrayed really well in mb
And how does Sita get fooled by deer she doesn't understand illusion as she follows dharm but Prakriti she is it bcoz she didn't think of such a treachory with Prakriti
I learnt word Prakriti sanskriti itself from ur analysis only so is my understanding right on why Sita was fooled
@ Shirley Di have u read business sutra book by devdutt all related to ramayan and my mb with business
It is there in my house but I never read it if u have read it how is it???

SIYA KE RAM- 21/05- FOLLIES

I dont know from where to begin 😆 my mind is on a temporary vacation. 😆

So we had the story of bhargavi and Vishnu. I remember savita had told this story on the first thread about the curse.. What I had heard was vrinda cursing Vishnu. I still don't know how much true this is. But savita I request u to repeat and analyse this curse portion. You will do justice to it. 😳

Am loving mahadev parvati yaar.. 👏 I never thot anyone else than mohit and sonarika but these two have managed to grab my attention. 😃 Rohit and Rimpi are doing fab job. I always look forward to their scenes.

Loved madirakshi in the bridal get up. She looked nice especially with minimal make-up.

Kya episode tha na shruthi 😳 it was terrific... 👏

After this story the real mazaa ( fun) starts..

Shaaa!!! I have come on right time 😆

Yday I talked of some "ESSENCE" and today ravan's words to Mareech made me whistle... Absolute wow!!!! I was amazed at the connectivity...

In a nutshell, ravan made Mareech face the mirror. You have adopted the life of sage but you didn't understand what it takes to be a sage...

My gawd!!!! It gave me shivers, chills and what not...

How far can u go by not changing ur inner self? How far can u go by simply changing ur outer face?

And the attack.. Ravan is blind. Ravan is cruel. Ravan is a strategist.

The picture made was perfect. Gives a thought *ravan understands everything* wow!!! 👏

But is that really so?
He injures mareech so that his mission is accomplished.

Ravan injures his fellow buddy of his clan for his benefit.

Hari on the other hand kills bhargavi's mother ( sorry I forgot the name I'll pakka recall it when not needed, exam hall? Yes most probably 😆) to free the world of the demons who had made everyone's life hell.

Bhargavi's mother followed her dharma of saving those who had pleaded for help.

Ram kills the demons for the greater good.

Ravan injures mareech for his own good.

Bhrigu curses hari for the pain he suffered.

I will talk about this. Curses... And boons.. We have discussed this but still..
Can we curse anyone even today? Those curses materialize ever?

My answer to this is a probable YES.

Curses are nothing but the negative thoughts generated from our hardships, pain and anger. Even when we say that need think ill of others and we apply this, our mind never forgets the pain we received.

In a similar way, you can give a boon also. But this happens when u are genuinely happy coz of someone or yoy really appreciate someone.

Precisely duaa ( blessing) and baddua ( curse)

But they materialize only if u have a pure heart which never thot of ill of others. You might not bless or curse anyone the good and the bad will face it coz of their karma.

Hari Lakshmi suffered separation coz of the agony that rishi bhrigu suffered Cz of khyati's death. ( thanx for the name Shirley 😃)

Bhrigu with the myopic vision cursed Vishnu ( did he understand why hari did it? Did he not think once how can the lord kill a human, kill his own child?)

Here am reminded of smthn much relevant. Company matters. Khyati even after knowing about asuras gave them shelter.

If you save a culprit your crime doubles. Am reminded here of karna duryodhan.

If a child commits a mistake and the mother ignores it tym and again, acts like a shield fir him each time. The mother is responsible of what may happen. The first punishable of all will be the mother.

I saw smthn similar with khyati here..

Again "anek" makes an entry. Glad that they are glued to "ek anek" ( single, many) concept.

Ravan is that person who'll have things by hook or by crook. His ego doesnt let him give up.

For his personal revenge he takes a path that is nthn less than a crime...

Cmn to the title

Am clueless don't ask me 😆

But I felt it was folly folly all the way

Khyati gives refuge to demons.lost her life. Very good lesson. Never lend a support to the wrongdoers.

Hari staying as a human in the hermitage. I magically feel this was a folly.. 🤔

Ravan beta injuring Mareech was again a folly which will cost his life one day..

P.S: sanjana have tried to use minimum hindi. And if used I have given the English words in brackets. I hope you are comfortable now 😃

Shirley I ges u cannot stay back with this kind of episode yaar. We hope to hear from you as well. 😃

Guys terrific episode. My analogy of hypocrisy beautifully displayed in the realm of deva, asura and humans. Need sometime to write it in detailed. And what a beauty. Ravan exploiting the weakness of good people. Karuna or sympathy.golden deer is defined beautifully.

Okay, DD, u win..😃

Yup yup the epi was really good but ur analysis was even better.. totally agree with each of your point.. here is a thought that occurred to me,

Parvati asks Mahadev.. if the entire point is to kill Ravan, then Vishnu in the form of ram can kill him in a moment, then y this pain of separation for Ram n Sita? And then he reveals the story to her..

Now my first thought after the story ended was.. okay Rishi bhigru cursed Vishnu.. but if he so chose, Vishnu could easily have gained immunity from the curse, being a God. But He did not. Is it to teach us some lessons? Perhaps!

See what Vishnu did - ill khyati - was actually a horrific act - taken as a stand alone incident..a harmless n that too a woman.. a motherlike figure.. killed by Hari himself was just indigestible.. as an independent incident.

Even given the circumstances, he could have found some middle path, isn't it? Like he did many other times, esp. during the Krishna avatar. For example, he could have made her forget giving protection to Asurs, or something such. But I have some reasoning behind it all..Hari himself was under a lot of pressure I think.. from his fellow Gods.. n perhaps he was in a kind of josh to kill the asurs n free the world of them.. so perhaps he did not think the situation out..

Almost, the v. next moment, he must have realized how wrong a deed he had done.. hence his acceptance of Bhigru's curse..

Again I may be totally off here.. because Gods often honours unjustified curses too.. Another thing is to bow before a person whose status is lower than n not using one's superior powers to override them (in this case Vishnu dint try to override the curse with his power.)

This is just a thought which occurred to me.. please do let me know what u all think of it..

Btw, DD, I know m probably nuts.. but ur title reminds me of a novel by Agatha Christie -Dead man's folly..😆

By god what an episode
It was so beautiful , I felt like melting in the atmosphere .

But before I jot down my views on today's episode I will go back to yesterdays

OK now everyone beautiful analysis
Jahnvi di , u talked about subconscious mind ,this is actually true
Sometimes u see we say things what we don't know but layer realize its meanings
Also I love dream analysis ,
I get symbols from there and they actually tell me my phase , which I am hiding from the world ..

OK now I will come straight away to vali and the cave
I will call this analogy
Vali's cave
Aren't we all like vali
And the cave he entered , is also created by us .

OK in life there are times when we out of anger and rage , forget to use our knowledge and straight away act , this leads us to a dark cave , cut from relations , cut from reality , cut from truth .

If u see vali was stopped by his brother but he didn't stop , in this case , sugriv stood as his subconscious ...
Isn't it ? But did he listen no

Now coming to him , he was trapped by his own self , as he went against the law ...

Now when he realizes his state , he balmes sugreev and not the problem or himself for it , don't we do the same ?

Whenever we are in the cave , we think of ways to blame others , even the one who wishes us well .

This takes me to my mom , she is straightforward , when I ask her the reason she says that if I don't tell people now , they will blame that why I didn't do it earlier ...

So , now vali returns cut from reality , into his own illusions and here comes ego , we do the same .

This incident told everything about yourself , but u know there is another to get out of the situation , through retrospection and acceptance

Great post charvi..
Cmn to subconscious I had many experiences that shook me from within, they seemed abstract, unbelievable.
I happened to share those with my friend some 10 days ago. And she said only one thing. "Your subconscious is very powerful". "Such things happen at this pace with rare ppl"

And these two points were glued to my mind till I read some articles on it and my approach changed...

Loved the bali and cave analysis.

Guys I have always told Adharma thrives not because of bad people, but because the good people understand dharma the incorrect way
Today let us see the Devas, Asuras and Khyati brigu's wife. See if we say devas stand for dharma, asuras stand for adharma. Now they attack devlok, devas fight them and they get defeated. Once defeated what do they do. Run to a noble lady playing victims asking for protection. The lady believes her dharma is to protect anyone who asks for protection.
Narayan comes and ask her to leave the asuras. Tells her the asuras are adharmis he has to kill them. What does the lady say. She has given word to protect them so she will die protecting him. Narayan is forced to kill a noble lady because by protecting adharm, she has become adharmi.

Cut to MB. Who was the real culprit in infamous hall of dice. Dussashan, Duri and Shakuni. Instead of punishing them, the greats like Bhishma, Drona allowed them to play illegally in the sabha, drag and disrobe a women in sabha and in the end when to defend these adharmis. So Krishna had no option but to kill them as he has to establish dharma as that is his duty. Narayan has given vachan that whenever adharma is having a hay time, he will ensure dharma is established.

Brighu without understanding why Khyati died curses Vishnu, he doesnt even understand by cursing him, he is cursing his daughter also. That is what we do. Without understanding why our loved ones died we take the rage on God. Problem is in the action of our loved ones or us. And when we curse someone, understand we are cursing a part of ourself too. Because he only saw Vishnu, didnt understand his daughter Bhargavi is going to be his wife and the viyog applies to her. This is where greatness of Arjun comes. When Abhi dies he doesnt blame Krishna. He doesnt ask Krishna why Krishna took him to other side of the battle field. But he decides to take action against the one who perpetuated the crime. He takes responsibility of what happened to his son and God protects him. A person having satva guna is not blemishless, but he does not place the burden of his actions on others. He acknowledges his mistakes and makes every effort to correct them. They take the hit on themselves. Arjun was responsible for leaving Jayadrath when Bhima was about to kill him for misbehaving with Panchali. Because Arjun didnt wanted his sister Dussala to be a widow. His love for his sister was exploited by Jayadrath which resulted in Abhi's death. That's why Arjun's anger goes towards Jayadrath. I always say as a human try to understand Arjun. Because Arjun's conflicts are easier for us to understand and understand how he dealt with them. For all the pain he suffered he always held Krishna by his side. Every time. Devoid of what Krishna did to him and didnt do to him. Such was the emotional connect of Arjun to Krishna. His friend. A relation without any expectations. It is an immortal relationship worth emulating for any man or woman who wants to follow the path of dharma.

Now cut to Kaliyug. We cant see, devas, asuras seperately. They reside within us and are exhibited through our actions. Even today adharma when defeated love to play victim. And we humans need to understand what we are protecting. Need to understand the victim. We need to question before giving any assurance of protection. At every point we have to see 2 sides of the coin.

Dont protect just because it is our relation and our relation cannot go wrong. Dont say because that person is an outsider that person will be wrong. Before protecting anything we have to be clear on whether we are protecting dharma or adharma. Understand even Krishna gave Arjun the tough choice. My power or me without weapon. So what is the one seeking your protection expecting. You or your power. In most cases it is the power of your dharma , adharmis will be targetting for their sake. And when you give shelter to them, your power of dharma will wane.

We humans are between devas and asuras. The one who has knowledge but doesnt know how to use it right. Learn to use it right so that satva guna can survive, and tamo guna is not allowed to play victim. Listen to Lord. Your inner voice, your conscious.

Learn to own up your actions and your mistakes. Make effort to correct them and you will see his grace always with you. That was today's episode in a nutshell.

@DD once again beautiful analysis. I completey agree to your boons and curse theory. See I loved the way they are shaping up golden deer.
Exploiting Sita's natural nature. Karuna to everything. It is not Maya she sees. But a wounded animal. And naturally her instincts to protect it goes up.
And Ravan yes he uses others for his benefit. Hurts others for his benefit. See hurting anyone for one's benefit is selfishness. He didnt even flinch when he inflicted that wound on Mareech.

And Mareech he takes this pain because he fears death, but death is going to come to him anyways. Many time adharma is perpetuated by fear and misplaced loyalties. Mareecha is an example of fear and Meghnad misplaced loyalty.

@charvi good analysis of bali and the cave. Introspection is the hardest thing for a human.

@sanjana why did Sita sends Laxman. Because Ram has to be protected at any cost. It is here you see the difference of Tara and Sita. Sita has a doubt her husband is in trouble and she sends her devar. She is willing to take the hit on herself because she knew if it happens Ram will come to protect her. But what if something happens to Ram. It is the failure of dharma. Ayodhya will witness another tragedy. Bharath will sacrifice himself and so will Laxman. She will be pushing 2 of her sisters to widowhood for sure.Shatrughnan if survives also will be at loss. Interest of a kingdom was at stake with Ram and his power Sita couldnt take a chance.

And Tara when Sugreev comes doesnt ask the relevant questions. She doesnt send him back to cave. If only she had shown Sita's prudence, Bali-Sugreev MU could have been avoided. But where does Tara's greatness comes. When she forgives Sugreev for killing bali knowing what her husband has done is adharma

I will be able explain this in more detail in the coming episodes. Actually I have quite a lot to write about this the way track is shaping up.
