Just watched the episode - ⭐️Sita was downright obnoxious. Reminded me of my ex, who would lose her temper when I didn't cut the onions as fast as she wanted, and just took over all the cooking from there on. Say, can we have a thread celebrating ⭐️Sita haran - will Minaxi allow us? 😈😆 Any volunteers willing to create it, if it hasn't been done already?
One thing I liked last night's episode - them at least logically, if not factually, fixing the record w/ Shurpi. First Indrajit intervenes and stops her from murdering the 2 messengers, and then reads her the riot act about her behavior. I'm normally not a fan of Meghnad's sycophancy re: his father, but I support him fully in this case. First, he told her that he would do what he said he would, and then reminded her that it was she, who in violation of orders, went ahead to Dandaka, and therefore deserved to be punished. This almost matched my Deer Diary account of that, except that Meghnad was more dignified 😆
And following that, I like Sulochana and how she took Meghnad's displeasure at her conduct and turned it on bua. She goes to Shurpi and is annoyed at her for concealing that Rama was already married and not interested in another marriage 😆 Only thing I wish was that she had done it in front of her hubby.
Ravan & Akampana's plan - how does he expect Mareech to run as far as he wants, having stabbed him w/ an arrow? Also, when Mareech runs away, why would Rama shoot him, if Sita wants to save him? I think that when Mareech is shot, he'll have a conversation where he confesses everything to Rama & dies in his arms. By then, Ravan should have nabbed ⭐️Sita
Sugreev & Hanuman - now Sugreev wants Hanuman to get Roma? I wonder whether Roma will tell Hanuman what Sita did - that she doesn't want to be touched by any male other than her hubby? She can't do that, b'cos if she doesn't go along w/ him, Vali will be the one touching her. But this Ramayan is certainly preferable to the original. There, Tara joined Sugreev when Vali was thought missing, and when he really died, while Roma was seized by Vali and kept until his death. Here, Tara dressed as a widow after she thought Vali was dead, and Roma will likely be liberated and taken to Sugreev 😆
