@Rex thank you dear for highlighting all the key points of yesterday's episode. Your thought of Gandharava lok with present day society not preferring inter caste, inter religious marriage is quite apt and I agree to you. I will come to that part in detail. But I would explain yesterday's epi in the word proof. I will tell why proof.
First let us come to the part of Hanuman. Hanuman come searching for the princess with a flower in hand. He is told this princess Ruma wears such flowers on her head. He hasn't seen Roma. The only identity he knows about Ruma is that flower. Now look at him. He first asks the dasis he has come to see Ruma. If you see Hanuman asking there is nothing to be afraid of him at all. He asks it quite pleasantly. But the dasis they have some pre conceived notions about vanars and they drop the taal and run. If you look at present day society we also have many preconceived notions many people. Malyalis are like this, tamilians are like this, Punjabis are like this, men are like this, women are like this, Brahmins are like this, Reddiars are like that etc etc list is endless. But if you see Hanuman is not offended by anyone of this. He roams around with only aim of his goal. Then he sees a woman dancing and one lady calls her Princess Ruma. He is happy princess Ruma he has finally seen. Now look at him. Even though that dasi calls Princess Ruma, Hanuman checks the princess hair whether she is wearing a flower similar to what he has in hand. Rule one. Irrespective of the proof by sound, Hanuman affirms his knowledge with the visual proof. The flower. Highligting the importance of visual proof before proceeding with next action. Then he comes and asks Princess Ruma. A dasi comes. I loved the way Hanuman rebukes her. Aap Ruma hai. So he will speak only to the person concerned. He only wants to know what the concerned person thinks. Dialogue has to be one to one in matters of important decision. First the concerned person has to approve, then only next step.
Now look at the way he identifies to Ruma, allaying her fears. That he is the friend of the person who gives her basket of Mangoes on the poornima days. Again he uses the visual proof to establish his identity. He tells the message of Sugreeva and ask her what he should tell her back. A convinced Ruma is shy and her sakhi reads her expression. Hanuman is delighted. You have to see the way he allays the fear of Ruma, make her trust in him and then conveys the message. It was beautiful and I would say prelude to Hanuman's real mission in Lanka. It shows Hanuman's capability. His intelligence.
Now till this point ok. Now when he tries to return Ruma says for her marriage he will ask to speak to her father. Then Hanuman understands ok he needs to speak to other people and willing to do so. Here again we need to understand maybe for Vanars if a man and woman vanar agree they marry. No social customs of taking permission from elders involved. We can say kind of animal rule. But the interesting part is when Hanuman knew the rule of Gandharva he happily accepts to follow that rule understanding this is the rule of Gandharvas. Respect for another culture. The way Hanuman uses proof to establish Ruma's identity and his identity was top notch screen play beautifully opening up Hanuman's character, his intelligence.
Now the second part Lakshman-Sita. As said earlier Sita is Prakriti. Remember the scene where that Katij Asur comes after Sita swayamvar where Sita makes Ram feel the cold water to prove the point something is wrong. She understands, but gives proof for him to take action. If you look there Ram understands Sita. Her intuition and once she gives proof also he steps in front to defend her and Mithila against the calamity and does it successfully.
Once again Sita sees something that is not inline with Prakriti's behavior. The nest of the birds which are kept on top. She asks Lakshman can we have the parnakudi at a different place. Lakshman says no. She asks Lakshman what is being looked at when a place is fixed for building house. Lakshman says sufficient light, good wind, provision for food etc. But he misses the word protection. Sita understood the nest is at top branch because the birds want to protect themselves against something. But what was it she doesn't know.
Sita keeps quiet at that time because she doesn't have any proof for her intuition. Because Lakshman will feel sad, he will not understand why nest is at top. He will say some birds will do like that.
But the nest troubles Sita. At night she is awakened by the birds chirping and yes some sound on the ground, but mostly the chirping and wants to move away from that place.
And Lakshman asks to move in. You know the difference. If you have to protect yourself against Prakriti's onslaught you have to be in Prakriti. That is out in the open. Look at any natural diasaster. Can any man made structure protect you from them. Flood, earthquake, cyclone, fire. To escape from all these things you have to come out in the open. And Sita Prakriti's daughter takes the men outside as she knew the attack was going to come from Prakriti. This is going to be Lakshman's proof of his bhabi's intuition. His experience with the flood is going to make him understand prakriti and his bhabi in a better way.
But there is other part. When you have to be out in the open to protect yourself from prakriti's assault, you have to be inside within the boundaries to protect yourself from Sanskrit's assault. Hence Lakshman Rekha. Because Sita understood the dangers posed by Prakriti reading Prakriti's signals. Similarly Lakshman understands the dangers posed by Sanskriti reading Sanskriti's signals.
Today Sita took action based on Prakriti's voice. The chirping of birds. She was right. because she knows Prakriti. Tomorrow she is going to take decision based on a human voice. It is Sanskriti's voice and she should have listened to her devar who knew Sanskriti as much as she knew Prakriti.
Last but not the least. I am sure Gandharva king is not going to be pleased his daughter marrying a vanar purush who according to them does not have the same status as them. He would have wanted her to marry some deva or some gandharva. Just like the present day society which opposes marriage of upper caste lower caste and even go to the extend of honor killings for the same.

Shruthi a pertinent post for today's societal rules for weddings. It took me some time to understand the necessity for this Sugreev-Hanuman story ,but as you said it was to show us the nature and Intelligence of Hanuman. Also the past few episodes have been edging towards Sita's kidnapping and this glimpse of Hanuman was needed as a proof for why he was chosen by the lord to find Sita in Lanka.
Sita- Lakshman have come a long way in their relationship, but there still exists a lack of transparency as well as understanding of each other in their equation. This lack is what leads to her sending him forcibly in search of Ram in the future.
When Lakshman insists on that place for their dwelling, Sita accepts it for his sake in spite of her reservations. Here she says 'experience is needed to bridge the gap between reality and circumstances' ,loved this dialogue. How can we think that this lady would desire a golden deer and forgetting all caution would entreat her husband to get it for her...unless she was helping her lord in his battle to destroy the evils existing in those times. He did mention that she has always been his source of strength...his soul mate!
Shruthi agree with you that a third party interference except in some special circumstances, more often than not is a mode of destruction .
Thank you Shirley, Geena and Vipraja .your comments encourage me to write more.

@Savitha thanks for bringing up that point. Ram's gratitude. I forgot to put it. The fact he remembers he couldn't keep the promise he has given her. The princess of Mithila who became his bride was joyfully received in Ayodhya. But instead of giving her the luxuries of a queen, luxuiries of a comfortable palace life he had given her only hard times. Tough things. The hard vanvass which she took without complaining. And I am sure once again Ram will remember this when he is forced to send her second time to forest.
And see the beauty. It was first Lakshman who accepted that he couldn't do justice as a husband to Urmila. Still she has given her everything.
Then we see Bharath making the same comment to Mandavi that as a husband he couldn't give her anything. But she has been his emotional support.
And now Ram acknowledging the similar thing. If you see all the 3 men finally are accepting, are grateful to the women in their life because of whom they are able to do their duties, exercise their choices.
I have always been telling a woman needs some patience in her life. Give the man what he wants, letting him go. He will come around😆. If you see in that way Urmila succeeded in it upfront. By getting sleep she is not getting the pain of separation, while he is aware every minute of the separation the pain of which his duty keeps away.
It is then Mandavi's chance. She too gets the acknowledgement and her husband's support in doing what she wants to do. Education of the girls in Ayodhya. If you see post 14 years Lakshman Urmila, Bharat Mandavi have a pretty decent married life with their respective spouses.
Look at Sita. How much she wanted to be Ram. How much she tried to be with Ram. Still when she needed him the most, at the time of her pregnancy she had to take it alone.

SIYA KE RAM: 20/4: EXPERIENCE

Updating as I watch repeat.

Brilliant will also suffice in describing the episode. Cvs take a bow.. Exceptional screenplay!!!!!! And what connectivity 😃

The trio has reached my city finally. And that was super fast 😆

Lakshman is eager to show the proper place for their to be house. SiRa follow him.

And a big wow moment 👏

Sita's observation... Bang on!!!

This is something related to my field of study. I'll try to put it in simple words.

When we select a site for construction, our major concern is the geological considerations along with the geography and topography. Aesthetics is smthn we look into only when the basic considerations are met.

And what's the basic? The soil type, the ground water level, the high flood level and the depth of the water table. Water and soil are definitely the two things that govern the site selection.

The next we see the earthquake zone. If the site falls in seismic zone or not. The wind direction is also important.

Then we see how much clearance do we have to pay for in terms of cutting trees or any other obstacles.

Aesthetics is definitely one aspect. But not at the cost of safety.

And even if there is danger around, certain provisions are made in terms of safety. That is known as "risk management".

A series of tests are conducted prior to selection, planning and construction.

The high flood level or the water level is determined by the previous records. History of a place plays an important role in this. The next is the rainfall data.

Now why am I blabbering this?

That's what sita and lakshman's scene was screaming...

" why have the birds made their nest on the higher branch and not below? This is smthn contradictory to nature's laws "

Cvs u all stole it today...I salute u all for bringing this here. 👏

Why on the branch higher? The answer we will get today. The only cue to this is "high flood level" or "water level" as u may wish to call it. The concept remains similar.

Land is available to us abundantly or not so abundantly. But is it suitable or not? Is what we need to dig deeper.

And this is where lakshman loses and sita wins.

Lakshman's focus is beauty. Sita's focus is reasoning. Yes "prakriti" is beautiful, but at times it doesn't allow you to make use of that beauty. And when u get such a warning don't poke ur nose there. This is the sole reason that bldgs collapse, structures are washed out, foundations weakened.

And this is what lakshman is doing. Looking at his excitement, sita is finding it difficult to contradict his views. Her only proclamation is "experience"

Wow!!!! One long running scene with roles reversed. 👏

A very interesting thing.. Related to "banyan tree" or bargad ka ped. The tree is a rare species. I call it rare cz of its permanence.
The branches grow so much that they seep beneath the ground. The tree will give you shade in every season. Shelter from rain, wind and sun. But life cannot exist near it. The trees can be found at the road side.

The branches grow so much that it is bound to affect the foundation of a nearby structure. This eventually makes the structure unstable.

Similar logic applies to the structures which are built near the river or sea or any water body.

They are constructed keeping in mind certain provisions. So that you can be safe and enjoy the view also.

One reason to artificial landscaping can be also this that nature at times doesnt allow to exist in its beauty and serenity.

Its a big lesson...

There are beautiful valleys, mountains, rivers, forests. But u cannot establish your existence there. Its as if nature wants you to only a mute spectator and admirer. But the tym you mess with it, it shall retaliate.

And human mind is developed beyond imagination but its of no use if you don't understand what makes you. If u don't understand nature. And this is where other living beings score brownie points.

I remember years ago we had flood in our native place which is a drought affected area since ages.

And our dog had taken the entire house on his head in late night.

Only because of him my family was alert to the coming devastation.

If sita killing the hawk was her journey to "sanskriti". These two episodes will be lakshman's journey to " prakriti".

We need to understand this. Sita has earned Ram's blind trust. The way he immediately gets up and is ready to go along. Lakshman is altogether on a different track.

Today will lay a different foundation. More than ram siya am loving the way they are taking sita lakshman's relationship.

Its refreshing and different. Am glad they have added the human characteristics though ram thinks sita is "asaadharan"

Ram has acknowledged sita. Its very important that the other mithila sisters also get their share of praise.

Coz if sita is extraordinary, her sisters are also gems. A normal person cannot sleep for 14 yrs. A normal person cannot let her better half live in forest and perform her duty. A normal person cannot juz look after family and court matters along with her husband.

I loved the last three episodes for this very reason. A quote that I came across day before yday and yday I saw the marathon express of episodes. Am amazed at the coincidence.. Shall put that in previous post.

Now why did I love sita's "experience". I whole heartedly relate to her coz of my exceptional intuition. Even when I sensed danger from ppl or circumstances I have let myself fall into the trap.
That's the reason I always feel intuition is a big plus and a big minus. At times u know but u let it happen. And then the guilt trip. " I knew it. Still...". 😆 smthn that I have daily. 😆

Today they will saved from prakriti's wrath. But what tomorrow? The "experience" will be deadly when it comes to "sanskriti".

Golden deer is knocking the door ladies.

I loved the flashback scenes.. What will happen when sita is left alone?

Everything will come to bite you back ram. Am waiting for that day.

I loved the use of " food" in the fb. Especially sita serving in the ashram and the first vachan ram gives "annapati" or smthn.

He vows that he shall provide his family with food and basic necessities. He's doing that even now. Ram bringing the raw things. Sita giving the cooked meal. But what tomorrow? Who shall provide his wife and kids the basic necessities?

Cmn to Hanuman's scene. Well I waited to watch the episodes back to back also for this reason. Am not finding danish convincing as hanuman. Something is offbeat. I guess his dialogue delivery. But let's wait maybe he'll blossom with Ashish. Those scenes might define Danish differently. Again Roma's dance was 🥱. I didn't like it.

Cmn to the tail activities. What hanuman is doing is creating "illusion".

Again going behind Roma is a training period for hanuman. Its this experience which will count when he goes to search sita.

I loved the fact of " pushpa" that Roma puts in her hair. Direct relation to "chudamani" of sita.

Once again experience applies to hanuman.

But lakshman sita grabbed the show today.. Absolutely ⭐️

From the debate till today... One word WOW!!!!!!!

The acknowledgement part you are bang on all the Mithila Sisters are acknowledged by their respective spouses. . .

Shruthi not to contradict you but having patience differ from situation to situation. . .
And my question to wait for how long for that person to recognise your effort. . . .

@shruti ...your proof based comparison of hanuman scenes...and ram acknowledging sita ...and others sisters acknowledgement by their husband...
@savita your view regarding transparency in sita-lakshman relation...and future hunuman-sita interaction is a connecting link ...
@dd your view for safety first and aesthetics latter ...is which people should learn ...
@FAMS your qs regarding the time for acknowledgement ...if we keep on reminding anyone all the time what we have done for them ...it will be like we are pestering them ...they will think we did all the only for reputation and are egoistic ...to show them how so called 'mahan' we are ...it will have a negative influence on them ...moreover what we do is generally for good of our family ...if give them time ...they will acknowledge our value ...how time it will take them to accept openly ...depends on their thinking and emotional power, also sometimes their ego
[strictly my pov not meant to offend anyone in anyway ]
