Exactly if we can tolerate those unending eye locks, falling down, rabba ves, mitwas, wind blowing and heavy breathing.. Ye lifting scene uske saamne kuch bhi nahi hai 😆

Glad to see the way Shatrughan kept his composure intact

Facial expressions of Helplessness and frustration were well portrayed by Actor Kunwar Pratham

Am late, but congratulations for being a Goldie now..

And yes juz like shruthi I thank u to tell me the name of that actor..

He's cute 😆

Especially the way he cries... His phoot phoot ke Rona.. Infact throughout the hut scene where the brothers hugged ram I could only watch shatrughna.. He really cries phoot phoot ke exceptionally well..

Hi all,
U all say everything and that too so well that mere liye kuch rehta hi nahi.
All I can say is that whatever doubts/complaints I have in a particular episode are almost always addressed in the next.. U know about my doubt about janak heading the dharm Sabha and how beautifully it was addressed in the next
Then I had a doubt that Bharat is in no state to rule and next episode Bharat himself says the same thing
Then like u all I had issues about ram carrying Sita (this wasn't addressed😉😆 n it was a lost case acc to me the very moment it was shown) and with laxman Sita scene, which was kinda clear in the next episode as a building up of sita's confidence

I m now understanding the prakriti Sanskriti concept better since reading all ur posts today. earlier I was confused.. so thanks for explaining it beautifully.
@DD - I hope u got my 2nd pm that day? u dint acknowledge so asking

Ok guys so much has been told about Ram taking Sita in Godhi. I have not thought about much of it except filmi hai, but re-reading DDs post of Sita Apaharan symbolism an idea is forming into my head. If this doesn't make sense leave it. Ok now what happens to Sita. As she walks her feet get trapped between boulders. It is an accident. Ram protects her from the accident. But what is the end result of that accident. Her feet bleeding and she is unable to walk. Ram carries her.
Now cut to Sita apaharan. Ram kills Ravan, liberates her. But what is the end result of that apaharan. A questioning society which she is unable to deal with alone. He carries her through it. You can call the phase of Agnipareeksha where she is vindicated first.
Then she is kept on a stone. Or rather we can say at a safe place or even in palace. But still her feet bleeds profusely. Now Ram is asking to tend her feet. She refuses telling she prefers to do it alone. But he tells in this circumstances allow him to tend it. Then note how he tends it. She keeps her feet on his thigh and he bandages it with his cloth. Usually a wife never keeps her feet on her husband thigh, even today , but he makes Sita keep, allow his clothes to get the stain of her blood. So it showed he will take the stain and vindicate her from whatever injury the society is giving her. The next scene Ram going and then Lakshman with Sita alone on that stone showed Sita's condition after banishment. And the child she sees or someone will show her way to valmiki ashram.
Ram's dialogue I am assured you know Prakriti and I am thankful to you accompanying me tells his confidence in Sita's ability to survive in the forest when need comes.
They showed physical injury due to an accident and how Ram tends to it. Next will be emotional injury because of a mistake and how Ram will tend to it.
Sita cannot tend to the damage alone, she needs Ram for it and all his love which makes him take the blame for her sake, just like he allowed her to keep her feet on his thigh.

Shruthi👏👏
I also thought that the scene signified both the Apharan as well as Sita Ma ke vanvaas. But I could comment at all as I am stuck in exams and submissions. I will come and give you all my crazy ideas when they are done.
Shirley, welcome :) Hope you have a great and enriching time here.

Shruthi, I think I agree with you. Though Ram carrying Sita still rattles me, the rest (tending to her wound, making her put her foot on his thigh and esp. the stain) makes a lot of sense.. how do u think so deeply?!!!
I also wanted to add something else.. per my limited knowledge (reading and hearing from qualified people).. in the satya yug n the treta yug women enjoyed immense status and respect from everyone (this considerably dwindled in the dwapar yug and is practically non-existent in today's kaliyug) I really feel all these norms of men not touching wives feet, etc.. is a product of the later ages or yugs...
so that scene - of ram not hesitating to touch sita's feet and tending to her keeping her foot on his thigh - was in accordance with and a kind of a vindication of what I have read/heard.
I think.. while it may have been customary that a woman touches her husband's feet out of respect but I don't think that there was any kind o mandate that under no circumstances a man should touch his wife's feet. For other reasons such as tending to a wound, or to put some jewelry on her foot, etc, it was okay for a man to touch his wife's feet..
I hope I m making some sense..
Again, I may be totally off the mark here.. still felt like sharing this thought here.. hope I don't get chappals, tamatars and stale eggs😛😆😆 though vo bhi sar aankhon par😃
