Now coming to yesterday analysis. Again we have to go back to past episodes. First I will take Vishravrass and Ravan.
As we know Ravan was the son of Vishravas second wife Kaikasi. Kaikasi was asked to lure Vishravas to make him marry her so that the asura kul can get a child with knowledge because vishravass was known for his knowledge. And Kaikasi managed to lure Vishravas and got married to him. Vishravas already had a son in his first wife Illavida , Kubera who is Lord of wealth.
Now cut to Ayodhya. Kausalya the eldest and crown queen. Kaikeyi is married to Dasrath for power by her father.
Only difference in the Asuras and Kekaya is that they send Kaikesi to lure vishravas, but father of Kaikeyi married her to the man who loved her as the Vedic rituals.
So in Kaikesi's case she stepped the line of Maryada to get Vishravas and Vishravas fell for it. It was lust that she used to get Vishravas.
But Kaikeyi she loved Dasrath in true sense. She was a warrior. She supported her husband in governance, in war and was the most loved queen. Irrespective of Mahatwakamsha till Dasrath berates her with the inability to produce a heir, till the knowledge that Dasrath married her just for getting a progeny in Kaikeyi we see a strong woman with values who loves her step son more than her own son because of his qualities. Always best for Ram.
So the loving Kaikeyi along with ever accomdating Kausalya and intelligent Sumitra ensured all the 4 boys grew up with same values. Their childhood to youth was in the same foundation of values so when Kaikeyi decided to wreck havoc she couldn't separate the brothers. They stood together.
One of the key reasons it happened is because of the trust they had in their elder brother. His knowledge, his protection.
Elder child of Dasrath stood for Knowledge or Dharma. Hence the other 3 were managed rightly by the elder one.
Now look at the elder child of Vishravas. What does he stand for. Kubera. He stands for wealth and oppulance. We need to understand wealth without knowledge has no foundation. Exactly that was what happened with Vishravas. He fell for the senses. Physical attributes of Kaikasi without understanding the motive she was sent. Kaikasi from day one made her elder son hungry for power and the other 3 were kept mute under him. Since wealth was the eldest in vishravas family as wealth does his famlily was broken into 2 and the one who doesn't follow dharma having the power with him.
This is what happens in families where the man's lust take the centre stage. Shantanu's lust Ganga and then Satyavati started the Mahabharath and that lust came to the hall of Hastinapur when 100 men were eagerly looking to publicly disrobe a lady and trying to enjoy the sight of seeing a woman naked.
See what value Vishravas have in Ravan's eyes. Why are you here. Clearly the son does not want to do anything from father. His mother and his mother's family has got what they wanted from his father. Now they don't need any further interference from him. He is father so a mute respect is paid. But Vishravas has no value in the eyes of Ravan. A man if he falls for lust or allow his ego to rule both will lose respect.
Dasrath allowed his ego to rule. He paid the price and regretted. Vishravas allowed lust to over take him and he is still paying the price.
Now let us cut to Ram-Surpi scene. Savitha have analyzed the scene beautifully. But what I wanted to say why it happened. How the destiny played its cards.
" Devi apni maryada mein rahiye". See the way Surpi goes at Ram. Lust is oozing through her and she is expecting him to fall for her physical beauty, the seduction she offers and yes surpi does look beautiful.
What does Ram say that he is married. He cannot marry her. Ram in that second with surpi wins over lust. As Sita is doing the pooja of Mahadev. Why Mahadev pooja is done by ladies for their husband's love. Reason Mahadev is the lord of destruction. But what did he destroy. Lust. By not succumbing to the beauty of Parvati when Kamdev sends his arrow Mahadev conquers lust. Paravati surrenders herself to him in true love and she gets Mahadev as her husband. His power of love for his better half is unmatched. But lust, lust does not stand a chance with Mahadev. Ladies are asked to worship Mahadev to ensure that he gives them strength to truly love their husbands in such a way that they don't succumb to lust.
Now see the way Ram's married life is put into jeopardy. His personal happiness is taken away because of a woman's lust. Did he do anything wrong. Unfortunately no. But then once again he has to pay the price of what his father did.
Lust. Isnt that the reason he was born. Didn't his sister cross the line of Maryada with sage Rishisringa to bring him to Grihathashrama. So that putrakameshti can happen.
How did Shanta's maryada got protected. Because she married the man on whom she threw the lust. So marriage gave Shanta the protection. Or rather Sanskriti.
But from Prakriti perspective what she did was use lust to lure a man in tapasya. The kingdom which used lust to lure a man to get the male progeny will pay the price through the prince's suffering because of the same lust.
And look at the path's of Ram and Ravan. Ravan was born when a woman crossed the line of maryada because her family wanted to get a knowledgeable son so that knowledge can be used to acquire wealth and power.
And Ram was also born when a woman crossed the line of maryada so that her kingdom could get a heir.
Another lady crossed the line of Maryada to start the destruction of the entire existing system
And Devi Lakshmi will cross the line of maryada or Lakshman Rekha openly to bring out the hypocrisy of the society.
