"Taiyar ho na?"Mandavi asked Urmila and Shrutkirti,who were preparing Sita and Mandavi for their wedding.Urmila,who was already displeased by Lakshman's denial,frowned,
"Kisliye?Aur vaise bhi ye prashn toh hume tumse puchhna chahiye"
"Mujhe tumse ye apeksha nahin thi Rakshashi,Kriti ka toh gyaat tha hume"She looked towards Sita,
"Kehne ka kya sandarbh hai Didi?"Kriti asked,
Sita said,
"Mandavi ka sanket vivaah ki vo sabse aanandmay riti se hai!"
"Haan Urmi tumhe Rakshashi se Rakshaki banke apne Jejashreeyon ke jute churane honge."
Mila sighed,how could she forget,wait, how could she miss such an opportunity.'Revenge'she determined.
"Kriti!!mai jaisa keh rahin hun vaisa hi karna!!"she said,

"Anuj!!mai jaisa keh raha hun vaisa hi karna."
"Jute hi toh bachaane hai,aap ko toh gyaat hai ye mere liye khel hai!"Shatrughan said,
Lakshman faked a smile
"Bilkul,tum toh ho hi baalak!Vivaah karne chale ho.Jahan Kriti tumhare samaksh aayegi vahan tumhe koi aur nahin sujhta."
"Aur kal ki riti me kya hua tha bhaiya?Pitashree apko kitni baar bula rahe the!aapka dhyaan kahaan tha"
"Mai Mila ko dekh raha tha"
"Lo!maan hi gye naa!chalo chalo,abhi Mahal chalo,hum dono ka bhi vivaah karaya ja sakta hai!"He jumped and began to drag Lakshman.
"Shatrughan!!Bawle!Ruko.Maine ye kahaa ki mai diya Milan ko dekh raha tha!"
"Koi laabh nahin"Shatrughan left his hand.
"Ab suno!Hume Bhrataon ke jute samhaal ke chhupaane hain"
"Thik hai Bhaiya"
"Aur vaise bhi kuchh Mithila waasi bohot chaalaak hote hain!"Lakshman rubbed his hands.

"Baaraat toh dekho,kitni bhavya haii!!"a friend shouted,coming from the balcony.
"Inme se hum anya do rajkumaron ko kis prakaar pehchaane??"the other asked,
"Dekho,Dekho!Jo sabse adhik uchhal rahen ho,vo Kriti wale hain!"Urmila replied her,while combing Sita's hair.
Mandavi giggled and Shrutkriti was beyond embarrassed.
"Arey!Dvitya Janaki,inme se aapke wale kaun hai?"
"Hamare wale?"She asked,
"Haan!"
"Gyaat toh nahin ki ve hamare hai ya nahin,kintu dekho,jiski naak sabse adhik laal hogi vahin!Kyunki krodh vahin stith rehta hai"
"Aur sakhi,ho sakta hai koi vahaan yudh ki taiyari kar rahaa ho,vo bhi ho sakte hai..Rajkumar Lakshman"Mandavi added and the girls started laughing.
"Tum phir mere devar ke peechhe padd gayi?"Sita asked
"Oho!Dekho toh!!"A girl shouted, standing at the balcony.All other friends joined her too.
"Haye,kitne sundar dikh rahe hain!"They sighed.
"Kaun?Kyu bawli hui jaa rahi ho tum sab!"
Mandavi asked.
"Chintit naa ho Kushdhwajaaa!Aapke Bharat aur Vaidehi,aap ke Ram ho nahin dekh rahe hain hum!!"
"Kitne achhe dikh rahe hai Chhote Dashrathnandan."One of them shouted.
Kriti panicked.
"Oho Kriti...Kumar Shatrughan keval tumhare hain!Hume gyaat hai"They assured her.
"Arthaat ye sab Urmila ke Lakshman pe drishti banaye hue hain!"
Siya said,
Urmila looked straight and turned to the balcony,where all the girls hung.
"Sakhiyon,mujhe nahi lagta ki Janak nandini ko humse koi aapatti hogii.
Sumitranandan kitne atulniya dikh rahe hain!Aur ye battisi toh!Kya kehna?"Mila's close friend teased her.
"Ek baar dekhogi nahin...?"Sita asked to a departing Urmi,
She slowly turned back and replied.
"Didi,ab toh seedhe milna hai,dekh ke kya karungi!!"
She smiled.

"Chalo,Urmila baaraatiyon ka swaagat karo!Hum dwarpooja pe dhyaan dete hain"
Sunaina ordered.
"Ji Maa"She smiled and went about her work.
"Urmi Bhabhi..."Shatrughan shouted at Urmila.
"Shatrughan!!"Lakshman and Urmila shouted at him.
LakshMila glared at each other and smirked.
"Adhed"
"Kya bola?"
"Didi,Bhaiya ab yahaan mat shuru ho jaaiyega"Kriti panicked,coming from behind.
Shatrughan's heart paced,he almost tried to hug her,saved by Lakshman.
"Anuj!Bhavnaon pe niyantran rakho"
He ordered.
Urmila glared at a shy ShrutKriti.
"Kriti,aaj ke liye ye hum dono ke shatru hain"Urmila said looking at Laksh
Lakshman looked at her and repeated,
"Suna na anuj!!"
"Ji Bhaiya!Yahi ki aaj ke liye aap hum teeno ke shatru hain"
"Haan!!...
...Kya?Gadhe!!"
"Kumar,aaj aap hamare liye Shatrughan se Shatru ho gye.Samajhe!!?"Kriti at last stated.
"Oho!"Lakshman and Urmila hooted.

"Chalo putron,apna sthaan grahan karo"Shatanand led Ram and Bharat,
Lakshman saw all the Mithila waasis winking at each other.
"Chaalu aur Chaalu ki paltan"
"Bhaiya kuchh kahaa aapne!!?"
He sighed irritated,
"Shatrughan,mai ye keh raha tha ki jao tum aalo-kachalu khao"
"Jo aagya!!"Shatrughan immediatly nodded when he found Kriti doing the serving at the next end.
Nervous Ram and Bharat opened their padukas and stepped onto their respective mandaps scared,
"Kahin Pujari ji ko mantra uchaaran ka avsar hi na mila toh"
"Kahin Mandavi mere atyadhik sameep baith gayi toh"
Two of the leaders and their respective gangs were fixed on only two things,"Grooms Charan Padukas"aka Joote (:P)
Everyone got busy in the wedding as overexcited Siya and Mandavi ascended onto the mandap.Ram and Bharat blushed,
"Mere jeevan ka ek naya adhyay shuru ho raha hai,jeevan ka niyam hai shuruaat aur parivartan..."Thank God she spoke this in her mind that only Ram would have to tolerate it all.
"Mai kaisi lag rahi hongii?!?!Inse puchhu kya ,inke sameep aane ka avsar bhi mil jaayega"Mandavi winked an eye at Bharat who shivered from head to toe.LakshMila had the responsibilty of Ram's shoes and ShatKriti of Bharat's.
"Vivaah aarambh kiya jaaye"Rishivar announced.
"Yudh aarambh kiya jaaye"
Finding an opportunity,both Lakshman and Urmila jumped to pick up Ram's footwears,only to bang into each other.Mila caught hold of her head while both of them moved a little away.
"Haye phutti kismat,kyu mere jeevan ke shani bane hue hai?Jab dekho mujhe kasht pohochate hai...Ise achha mera bhi vivaah kahin aur ho jaata"
She cursed him as much as she could.
"Kya??Aapka vivah kahin aur!!Asambhav"
"Aapko kya!!?Hum toh vivaah karenge"
"Nahin!!Aap meri hai"
"Karenge karenge hum toh vivaah karenge!!"Urmila almost sang and danced.
"Kya hua?Kyun Ladd rahe ho aap log?"
Rishivar,Shatanand's assistant asked them.
"Rishivar,Mila keh rahi hai ki ve kahin aur vivaah karengi!!"
"Jii!!?"
"Arthaat ve kahin aur se jute churaengi"
"Hunh?Kumaar,Kahin aur se kyun?"
"Haan Khadoos Kahin aur kyu,hum yahin jute churane me saksham hai"Mila asked confused.
"Arthaat Rishivar,vo dekhiye jaadu"
"Kahaan??"
Lakshman pointed in an extreme far direction,Rishivar and Urmila looked there.Grabbing the wonderful opportunity,Lakshman took Ram's footwear and quickly ran away.
Urmila opened her mouth wide long,
"Haaawnnnhhh"
She ran behind him.
Rishivar looked back,only to find both of them missing.He frighteningly gulped,
"Jaadu!!?"
"Bhaago mere peechhe Rakshashi paddi hai"Lakshman shouted to tease Mila.
They ran throughout the palace,didnt miss a corrider,hid and seeked after every corner and tried to irritate each other as much as they could.
Most of the decorations fell away making Urmila burn in anger.It was Lakshman running with his full speed and Mila behind him lifting her lehenga a bit up.
Finally Mila caught hold of him,to which he smiled panting and called out
"Champak"
And he threw away the padukas high in air,Ayodhya's royal councellor's son Champak who was at the other end ready to catch them.
Mila slapped herself mentally and blurted,
"Oh no!!"
But before it could reach Champak,he was over-reached by a lady jumping high before him.
Urmila clapped happily,
"Aww!!Chameliii"
"Ye kaisa naam hai?Chameli?"
"Haan,Champak toh is grah ka sabse anokha naam hai"
Saying this Urmila ran behind Chameli who signalled her to follow.
Meanwhile,Champak had already lost his heart to Chameli.
The whole corridor was filled with their laughter,shouting,teasing and hooting.
"Shrutkirti"Shatrughan said blushing.
"Jii?"Kriti blushed more.
"Thoda adhik kachalu milega?"he had pink cheeks.
"Ky...u...na..hi.."She got all red cheeked
"Arey...Aap..darr kyu...rahi hai?Darna toh mujhe chahiye"he blurted w/o thinking
"Aap...darenge?"Kriti's eyes got filled with big tears.
"Vo!!Hamara taatparya.."Shatrughan panicked but it was too late as Kriti started crying.
She threw the food at him and hit him on his shoulder.
"Arey kyu ro rahi hai aap?Sab kya sochenge!Shaant ho jaaiye.Hume Darr lag raha hai"
"Aap..ko..humse..darr...lag..ta hai.Hum aapko kabhi kshama nahi karenge"
She cried louder.He thought hard of some way,
"Shaant ho jao meri maa nahin toh Siya Bhabhi aa jaayengi,phir vo hi tumhe samajhayengi ki rona kaayaron ka svabhaav hai.Tum hi jaano tab"
Kriti became afraid,she composed herself and went away,making a rude face towards Shatrughan.
"Lakshman Bhaiya satya kehte hai,mai gadha hi hun!Dekho kis prakaar maine apni gadhi ko rula diya.Ab kya karu?"
Shatrughan too started sobbing.
Lakshman and Champak tricked both the ladies by telling that they've been called by Sunaina.When they left,they quickly hid the shoes in some trunk.
Only to be tricked back by Urmila,leaving them puzzled when they returned after having some snacks.
"Bhaiya mere,Kahaan gye jute tere?"
"Moorkh,jute mere paav me hain"
"Kumaar,kaash aap thode buddhimaan rehte,
Toh nisandeh Maharaj aapko gadha na kehte!"
"Moorkh,gadhe toh tum ho!Mujhe gyaat hota ki jute kahaan hai toh mai apne paas na rakh leta"
"Hari Hare,Ab kya kare?"
"Moorkh,itni shigr haar maan gaye"
Music plays,
Dulhe ki saaliyon hare dupatte waliyon,
