I loved this dialogue today. Reason people are always thinking about destination in such a way that they are not sure whether they are taking the right path to reach the destination. And that padh -bedh or deviation from the right path to reach destination results in all the sorrow's of one's life.
We are always after material things. We want our child to be engineer/doctor, we want car, we want house, we want the best marriage alliance, immediately after marriage we should have child. If something is not happening as we expect then we get worried. Then by hook or crook we want to get things done.
Then when things go wrong we cry. My mom says I have no sympathy for people who have lost everything in scams and all or the girls who end up being in casting couch or gang raped after being offered roles in shows or movies, or those people who die in alcohol tragedies.
And to be frank yes. I do not have any sympathy for anyone in that category. Reason everyday in newspaper, in TV we hear about chit funds, how they give attractive offers and lure people. So if you are getting something that looks suspicious be alert. No you wont. You wanted easy money, so you went with it suffer.
Casting couch we all hear, also there are " n" number of stories of girls being duped by agents in the name of serials and movies. Why are you going alone with person who cannot be trusted. Any proper organization will conduct interviews, look test in a transparent manner. They dont have to take you at night or something. Infact if you agree for casting couch for the fame, then later dont cry foul over it.
Alchohol tragedy well I have no sympathy at all. You drink. You know the side effects. You destroy yourself and your family. Why should I sympathise with you.
Then there are those overseas marriage alliances. People just want to marry off their daughters. The moment they see overseas groom well go ahead fix the marriage. How many girls lives have been ruined by such decisions by parents. How many suffer domestic abuse abroad with their voice not heard.
We need to understand one thing with life. Greed doesnt take us anywhere. One day or the other it will bring our downfall. History has enough examples in the dictators. And in life nothing is one way, it is always two ways. If something looks all benefit one way learn to question. Something is not right.
Have all ambitions. Work to reach your goals. You can very well reach them if you apply your thoughts correctly and takes correct steps. But mindful of the path, mindful of the journey and stay right to the course always.
It's not something I am saying simply. It's a rule I have always applied. Life is always 2 ways. Give and Take. And if this rule is not happening I immediately starts questioning where the problem is. When Life doesnt give me something, the question I ask is not " how I can get it", but " why I am not getting it". The first question I will have to do padh bedh for an answer and second question when I correct myself in the right path itself I will get what I want.
