Amazing retelling, of another important episode, as usual Bheegi.
I just hope the show will show the closeness between Rama and Sita now that they are going to settle in Ayodhya not just focus on royalty duties of both! Thanks again by the way I have ordered Devdutt Patnaik book on Sita.Hema

@bheegi thank you for penning the choodamani part. And choodamani in Rama's hand. It is like his soul being restored. The proof of existence of Sita.
Ram & Sita: Me Without You is Incomplete: part 10
Yuddha Kanda
So far, we have witnessed various phases of the Ram-Sita love story: initial attraction, mutual respect, understanding, communication, selfless love for each other, romance, fear of separation and longing for each other after the separation.
Yuddha kanda was a test of their faith- their faith in each other and in destiny-that they would be reunited once again. Perhaps, their faith in each other and in God was the only reason they survived this gruesome period. While Sita's faith in her man's ability and her chastity kept her alive, the desire to have her back once again, motivated Ram to cross various hurdles to reach Lanka and defeat Ravana.
Here are a few citations that show how their faith got them through this phase:
On the eve of the battle, Ravana came to see me. He had brought a big platter with something covered in it. He ordered his servants to place it on the ground. "Seeta! I have killed your Rama even before the battle started. You were talking about the prowess of your husband. What prowess does a man have, who does not have enough sense to keep lookouts while he sleeps. Is that the kind of warrior your husband is? And you really compared me to him and called him undefeatable?" Saying this, he jerked the cloth covering the platter. Rama's head!!!
I was in shock. My past with Rama flashed before my eyes. The first time I saw him in the Upvan, the way he lifted Dhanush during the Swayamvar, our wedding, his tenderness, his humor, the way his eyes would light up. The well loved face in front of my eyes, the curls falling on the forehead. But when I looked at it closely, it seemed different. Is this what death does to people? The eyes were closed and the skin looked pale and drawn. I touched his face. It felt different. The curls on his head felt different. Wait... the earrings were different. Rama was not wearing any earrings when he came to the forest. I looked up. Trijata was standing behind Ravana and shook her head. "You are a liar", I screamed at Ravana and threw the tray at him. He was too far away to be harmed, But... The head fell down and shattered. It was not real!!! My Rama was alive.
"Trijata! I am not going to eat or drink anything, till the battle is over. I am going to pray for my Lord as I have never prayed before. I would love to be a part of the battle, fighting besides my husband. But since I cannot do that, I will do the next best thing I can. I will pray for his victory. Come back to me only when the battle is over. I don't want to hear anything more about the battle." Saying this, I sat facing the east, and started my prayers.
I started imagining death for Rama every time I saw a blast of light in the sky. People say that whatever you imagine, it comes true at some stage. All I wanted for Rama was his life and his victory. I will imagine and pray only for that. I heard about the battles between Lakshmana and Indrajit, kidnapping of Rama and Lakshmana by Ahiravana and the defeat of Kumbhakarna and countless other battles. But there was no point in feeling elated with victories and miserable about defeats in battles. My focus was the war. Battles and skirmishes were irrelevant. I forced my mind to focus on the last and the greatest of the battles between Rama and Ravana. I concentrated in praying to Ma Bhavani for the victory of my Lord Rama.

Rama said quietly, "Nothing makes me as anxious now as the short time Ravana has left Sita before he kills her: only a fleeting month, of which three days are already gone. Lakshmana, my heart is weak with fear that we may not be in time to save her." And Rama broke down and sobbed. "O Vayu!" he cried. "Blow from here to where my love sits, and stroke her with the very fingers of air with which you touch me. Then blow those same
drafts back to me, so I see her clearly before my eyes and she knows I am coming. How piteously she must have cried Rama, save me!' when the Rakshasa carried her away. "My brother, they say time heals every wound. But this wound of being separated from Sita grows more painful with every moment that passes, as if flaming knives are being turned in it. It consumes me, Lakshmana; it robs me of my manliness. Can you begin to imagine how I long for her? Her touch, the look of her eyes, her tender caress, the sound of her sweet voice. Can you imagine how I yearn to be rid of this sorrow that feeds on my very life? To cast it from me like soiled clothes: to kill the Rakshasa and to have my Sita back. Lakshmana, hell and madness clutch at me, and I have to thrust them away with the knowledge that she lives" that, out there beyond this sea, my Sita is still alive." Lakshmana took his brother gently by the hand; he led him out of those woods to the damp sand. A stirring wind blew around them. In the distance, the scarlet sun sank into the waves. Rama sank down on his knees in prayer. Quietening the anguish in his heart as best he could, he worshipped pristine Surya Deva.
