L - "ruko shatrughn" (frown looking at akshi) yadi ye patra urmila tak pahoche to iska parinaam dekhna tum akshi
A - theek hai na, tanik shighrata se daudiye soumitra, mujhe hi dentate rahenge to vo avashya hi urmila tak pahoch jaega
They ran after shatrughan soon the palace filled with their loud voices, their arguments and their footsteps
"mai kya karu in sab ka didi, kab bade honge yeh"
Said sumitra entering the hall where all were gathered
K - kya hua sumitra, chintit kyu ho tum, aur ye ullas kaisa h
Sum - bacche...
Kk - lakshman, akshi aur shatrughan (she burst out laughing taking their names)
Sum - aap has rahi hain (confused)
K - sumitra unhe bacche keh kar sambodhit karogi to ve bade kaise honge, aur bacche to ghar ki raunak hote hain na (said kaushalya placing a consoling hand on her shoulder)
Sita and sisters were smiling at this except urmila
Just then shatrughan entered and hide behind kaushalya... "mata bachao" akshi and lakshman were still chasing him
L - maine kaha ruko (anger)
A - shatrughan... mata ke peeche kya chhup rahe ho, maa dekhiye na ye mujhe pareshan kar raha h aur aap ise bacha rahi hain (baby face)
Kk - itna dussahas ke meri putri ko pareshan kiya (twisting shatrughan ears)
Sh - ma... mein to keval pat..
Lakshman came closer to him and whispered in his ear "savdhan anuj agar aapne is bare me kuchh bhi bola to mai bhi sabko bata dunga ke tum mithila mein kaise shrutkirti ko ghoora karte thhey... vo bhi sabke saamne"
L - han... han chhotey btao ke tum keval uske itra ka paatra lekar bhaag rahe thhe ,,, lajja nahi aati tumhein, mata aap chintit na hon, mai swayam ise akshi ko preshan karne ka dand dunga
K - oh ho tum teeno bhi na... chalo kekayi ye sab to bandh hone se raha, hume chalke maha-bhoj ki taiyari karni hai (she left from there along with kekayi and sumitra)
As soon they left shatrughan run towards sita and urmila while lakshman and akshi again tried to catch him ... "bhabhi"
S - aap teeno rukiye to sahi... hua kya hai, aur shatrughan aapke hath mein mujhe paatra to nahi kintu patra dikhai de rahe hain
Sh - bhabhi patra nahi... preeem patra,,, hai na akshi (grin)
A - nah... nahi bhabhi (she gave lakshman "what to do now" look)
L - bhabhi ye patra mere hain... (quickly changing the topic)
Sh - maine kab kaha ke mere hain... aapke hi hain bhaiya ,,, ye patra lakshman bhaiya ne likhe hain ... hai na akshi (grin)
Urmila could not control and left from there while sita was smiling at the three of them akshi looked at urmila leaving the hall with a confused look when she heard lakshman's voice
L - kya hai na akshi... hai na akshi lagaye hue ho ,,, bhabhi ye kuchh bhi bolta hai
Sita cupped his face with one hand...
Akshi snatched the letters from shatrughan's hands and handed it to sita "dekhiye bhabhi dekhiye, humare soumitra kitne seedhe hain"
While sita starts reading the letters one by one she had tears in her eyes she turned to face lakshman and he gently lower his gaze, she cupped his face and made him look at her "itna prem karte hain aap meri behen se sumitra nandan"
He said nothing but looked down in embarrassment, "kab se lakshman"
Sita caressed his cheek... ye lijiye (giving him the letters back) lakshman ye sansaar ki sabse badi sampatti hai..."prem" aur akshi inhe itna sambhal ke rakhne ke liye dhanyavaad
A - bhabhi aap sab ki khushiyaan humare liye bahot mehatva rakhti hain... unke liye hum kuchh bhi kar sakte hain
Sita smiled at her "aur haan iske vishya me lakshman ko urmila se swayam baat karne dijiye,,, aur lakshman prem ko adhik samay tak chhupa kar nahi rakhna chahiye"
She left from there leaving shatrughan akshi and lakshman behind
Akshi was tensed for urmila "kahin urmila ko koi bhram to nahi hua" she thought
L - ab tum kahan kho gayi ho chalo (he said dragging her)
A - laksh tum aaj hi urmila se baat karo (tensed)
L - kyun(confused)
A - lakshman tumne suna nahi kya kaha bhabhi ne ...
L - haan baba theek hai mai karunga baat, chalo ab
They all left from there while akshi was still in thoughts
After sometime kaushalya called all of them for a ritual in which sita being the eldest will cook the food for entire family
(our) sita being SITA requested kekayi(as she was handling all the events of the wedding) to cook food for the entire praja... because Ram consider his praja as his family
Once again dashrath and all the queens felt proud of themselves being the in- laws of the great soul...
Sita went to the royal kitchen with her sisters and sent all the servants saying today she will make food for them
Outside the palace, inside the palace... the commoners,servents, soldiers, men, women kids... all were praising sita...
Yudhjeet (bharat's maternal uncle) came to know about sita and group cooking food for entire praja and gets furious ...
Soon he called for the lunch
All gathered in a grand hall...
Dashrath praises sita for her great thoughts... she then offers food to both dashrath and yudhjeet...
Y - toh aaj bhojan aapne banaya hai jaanki, achha hai
Kaushalya - ji bhaiya, aarabh kijiye
Y - kintu ek samasya hai
D - kya hua yudhjeet (tensed)
Y - jijashree, raj parivaar ke bhojan ko pehle chakha jata hai, ki vo khane yogya hai bhi ya nahi...
D - yudhhjeet... (he shouted in anger)
Urmila and mandvi frowned in anger
Y - parampara hai jijashree, ab videh ki vadhuon ke aa jane se paramparaye thodi na badli jaengi, vaise bhi bahot kuchh badal gaya hai mithila jakar
Jahan ek vivaah hona thha maharaj janak ne char karva diye, kaafi buddhiman prateet hote hain ve, aur Maithili ve to tyant buddhimaan hain to kya ye nahi jaanti ke ayodhya mein paramparayein nibhane ki riti hai
Kk - ye aap kya keh rahe hain bhaiya
S - sahi to keh rahe hain mama shree,agar ye parampara hai to poorn honi hi chahiye, mai swayam ye bhojan chakhungi mama ji
Kaushalya - kintu putri
"Ma" (just then lakshman entered with akshi) sahi to keh rahi hain bhabhi, paramparayein todna ayodhya ki riti nahi, aur fir riti anusar bhojan banana vala nahi kintu koi sevak hi bhojan ko grehan karta hai
Urmila looked at him in anger
"layiye bhabhi mujhe dijiye, ye mai khaunga pehle uske pashchat aap sabko paros dijiyega" (he took the bowl from her hand)
Before sita could say anything Lakshman gulped down the full bowl in one breath, akshi was looking at him with concern
"Atyant swadisht, bhabhi annapoorna ma ka vaas hai aapke haathon me, ma... aap teeno se kahi adhik achha bhojan banati hain sita bhabhi"... "aur mama shree, baaki ka bhojan aapke grehan karne yogya hai, aaramb kijiye"
Everyone smiles except kaushalya, sumitra, urmila and yudhjeet
Urmila cuz she thought that the food made by her sister is checked by his husband...
Kaushalya nad sumitra was both shocked and amazed cuz they knew lakshman would have started a war with yudhjeet as he tried to defame sita,,, but on the contrary lakshman is calm, they both looked at each other with confusion
L - mai chalta hoon bhabhi, mere liye kheer bacha kar rakhiyega (he left from there, without looking at sita)
Akshi quickly followed him and sita noticed her concern for lakshman
sita instructed mandvi and shrutkirti to look after and followed akshi
U - didi kahan ja rahi hain aap (following her)
S - shhh dheeme bolo urmila
U - didi ye jo hua hai na uchit nahi hai aur sumitra nandan ne kitni saralta se aapka banaya hua bhojan chakhne ki cheshthha ki, ve soch bhi kaise sakte hain ke aapke banaye hue bhojan me dosh hoga, jab unhone swayam mithila mein aapke bhojan ki prashansa ki thhi (anger)
S - urmila, shaant ho jao, abhi pata chal jaega ke yahan ye sab hua kya hai
They saw akshi entering lakshman's room with glass of water, she was tensed, concerned sita stood hiding behind the door so that they could not see her
And she got shocked when they saw lakshman his eyes were red his mouth was burning, he was covering his face with his hands, wiping it roughly and pulling his hair in an unaccountable manner,his cheeks turned red, eyes teared up, tears rolls down his cheeks
"laksh, lo jal grehen karo" said akshi offering him the glass of water
he threw away the glass making it shatter on the ground, the water spilled all across the floor.
A - kya kar rahe ho lakshman, mooh jal raha hoga tumhara
L - nahi chahiye mujhe akshi, tum laut jao, chali jao
A - laksh bahot teekha thha usme, tumhari aankhein jal rahi hongi, itne ziddi kyu ho tum, kya aavashyakta thhi tumhein vo bhojan grehan karne ki, bta dete sabko ke us daasi ne bhabhi ke banaye bhojan mein teekha milaya thha
L - aur uske sath bhabhi ka apmaan bhi ho jata, aur koi meri bhabhi ka apman kare mai katayi ye sehen nahi karunga
A - yadi tum ma ko sab bata dete to...
L - yadi... yadi (cutting her in between he grabbed her arms tightly) yadi vo mata kekayi ke bhai na hote, yadi mai bharat bhaiya se itna prem na karta, yadi mai mata kekayi ka itna samman na karta, yadi ma ne mujhe ache sanskar na diye hote (he pushed her lightly realeasing her from his clutches)
Aur uss se bhi badhkar yadi sita bhabhi aur ram bhaiya ke aadarsh hi mere jeevan ka aadhar na hote, yadi mai sita bhabhi ka samman thoda sa kam karta aur yadi mai unse thoooda sa kam prem karta
"TO MAI USI SAMAY ASHWAPATI NANDAN KA VADH KAR DETA"
The words get echoed in the room as he spoke with extreme anger
Sita bhabhi hinsa ke viruddh hain, aur unki ichcha ka palan karna hi mera dharm hai,yadi aisa nahi hota na akshi to sita bhabhi ki saugandh ve yahan se jeevit kekeya nahi lautate
Akshi looked at him with horrified eyes, she never saw him soo angry, yes he is short tempered since childhood but today he was speaking against his maternal uncle.
Sita who was standing near the door listening to the conversation had tears in her eyes she turned to face urmila, who has the proud expressions on her face.
Her thoughts
"hey sumitra nandan, koi aapse prem kaise na kare, mai jitna bhi prayatna kar loon, kintu aap kuchh aisa kar dete hain ke mujhe aapse punah prem ho jata hai, mai apneaap ko aapse prem karne se nahi rok sakti mera hridya aapko kisi aur ke saath bantata dekh pratipal tootata hai aarya"
She left from there saying she should get something sweet for him
Sita entered the room, lakshman was still angry, he was looking outside the window when sita called him from behind
"lakshmannn"
As he heard his name instantly his anger disappeared recognising the voice, "bhabhi"
He turned to face her
"jal grehen kijiye lakshman, ye mera aadesh hai" said sita offering him the glass full of water
Lakshman took the glass and gulped it in one breath. Sita wiped his face with the hem of her dupatta
He joined both his hands tilting his head down "mujhe kshama kar dijiye bhabhi, aapka..."
"lakshman ... kuchh kehne ki aavashyakta nahi hai tumhein" she said cupping his face
She made him sit on the bed, sita was speechless, she did not understand what she should say
Lakshman wanted to say something but just then a daas came and informed them about Ram and Bharat's arrival
Sita cupped his face lovingly and left from there saying "kisiko kuchh nahi kahenge aap sumitra nandan yahi meri ichcha hai,mai aapke liye kheer bhej rahi hoon, akshi tum sunischit krna ke ye use grehen karein"
Akshi smiled and said "ji bhabhi"
Sita left the room... with tears, smile, care, affection, love... she came out in garden tilted her head upwards and said "itni bhagyashaali kaise ho gayi mai gauri ma"
Kaushalya and sumitra who witnessed the whole scene smiled looking at sita and left from there...
