A fabulous episode today. Today first, we saw the special relationship between a guru and her shishya, where Sita pays homage to her guru by saying that she would always carry the knowledge Mata Gargi had imparted, in this new beginning of her life. This stage of her life would involve the testing of her absorption of her guru ma's teachings. After acquiring her teacher's blessings for the future she reaches the next important stop of her pilgrimage...to her birth mother, the earth. Here you are brought face to face with 'Bhumija'.A daughter expresses her heartfelt gratitude to her mother for her very existence as well as for the abundance of blessings she has received in her life. At that moment I wondered at the feelings of the mother earth{she would have been both proud of the fact that Devi Lakshmi had taken the form of her daughter and also overwhelmed with love for her Sita}.When the daughter stumbles ,He comes to her, her husband Ram. What follows is one of the most profound moment, a merging of two souls ...a perfect union. He says that in her moments of doubt he would be her confidence,in her moment of weakness -her strength ,her struggles are his and he would never let her lose! Was it her tears that flowed from his eye?
It was as if the universe itself was describing its vision for the institution of marriage. It is commendable that the makers are trying to reconnect us to the sanctity and meaning of the marriage that our scriptures had envisaged for us,as somehow the modern society seems to have moved away from its original meaning. If we did then there would be no more dowry killings,no more discrimination against a woman right from her childhood.

@Ladymacbeth most of us want to see how they are going to define that separation part. But I am hopeful. Because 7th avatar of Vishnu cannot pass a wrong message to the society that is my assumption. It is the man who read him had made the wrong assumptions. And if someone can justify him, his actions it can be done only by her. His better half Sita. That's why story through her eyes is important.
@savitha yes if we understand our scriptures the rich knowledge our culture has left us, this place would be a paradise.

UnRes .

Shruthi you know what while watching yday's episode a thot came to me ki aj shruthi kya lekhengi... And guess what I had similar thots as your post.. Am glad I didn't merge them with symbolisms 😆 you justified it so well ⭐️👏 pls don't apologize for being so open, coz this transparency with incidents and their real cause is needed nowadays.. Only addressing the incidents isn't enough, it is required to dig deep for the cause of such unfortunate scenarios.

I had such a case in my neighborhood. The girl was married off. She returned the next day of her marriage and is now divorced. The reasons from both sides were: the groom's side alleged that she didn't allow him to touch her on the first night. The bride's side alleged the groom to have a loose character and cheap mentality...

My reaction to this whole thing was W*F 😡

Coming to the episode... It was poignantly beautiful.. I am at loss of words now... *sigh* siya-ram scene 💔.

The soil scene... The conversation... Everything... So beautiful it was... I admired gargi... Shaaa... What to say... I was numb after yday's epi, so much that couldn't even write the symbolisms clearly... Till I reached siya-ram scene I wasn't even aware of life-fate depiction... As I was editing in parts I had come across your reply below... And that's when the angle of life-fate became clear to me...

There are long rounds of discussions of how the grandeur is the show's USP. I add one more thing to it and that is the SCREENPLAY.

If u c script toh sabko pata hi h owing to the story of Ramayana. What adds the flavour of intrigue to it is the Screenplay... Not only scenes but dialogues so deep... I won't be tired of praising this aspect of the show ever...

Talking about the screenplay I was amazed at how they took the last three episodes. Am sorry am repeating it here again...

JANAKA representing the capability. RAM represents life. And SITA the line... The line that encompasses the capability to endure the struggles of life... Its poetic...

Like I said of shaft, operator and pivot...

Shaft being capability/capacity I.e JANAKA

Operator being life I.e RAM

Pivot being the game changer I.e SITA

It is difficult to bring in such level of depth in writings... The writrrd gave done an exceptional job with this...

Now what I want to see is : where the three couples today stand? I really want the cvs to deal with them also.. If they jump directly to vanvas and the girls accept it bowing their heads down its a big let down then... There will be no use of detailed portrayal of their lives in mithila...

They need to do something about mandavi's chudamani ( am saying this for n th tym now 😆 but can't help it...)

The background music as I said my symbolisms post, is really used wisely...

Am eager to watch how vishwamitra is being included in this whole angle... How on the earth during bidaai of the girls, his story popped out? 😕

Had just actually seen the episode !
Excellent perrformance by Ram .
Liked the dialogue between guru and Shiishya .
The words spoken by Ram to sita were just too good !

There is sure a lot to be learnt with regard to the relationship between couples .
And the show has been so far doing an excellent job in imparting this knowledge too in the right manner ( as May be acceptable by youth of the day !)

It is this support and understanding that both the partners need. To feel and extend to one another in order to have a fulfilling life together !
When both partners are aware of their duties and responsibilities towards each other (including of course the other family members) and are willing to extend such unconditional love , the marriage would sure be a successful relationship for both .
But then , all this has to start with the respect with which both. Of them can acknowledge and accept one another's individuality in order to appreciate each other's !
For this the right knowledge of the system should prevail ( as toward the institution of marriage !), which is what is missing a great deal in today's life styles .

Hope more such shows through such presentations ( Like siya's perspective here ) would bring about some positive change in our society .
Thereby helping the lost treasure of our societies revive for the betterment of all.
Jai Siya Ram !

@vipraja yes the true essence of our culture and tradition needs to come out in a way the young generation can understand and TV is a very powerful medium. Unfortunately only crap is shown there currently with all regressive messages.

Yes DD even I want to see how the other 3 couples are portrayed also. Because in Mithila glimpses were given of other couples.

very much touched by your post. A girl leaves her home and comes all the way to a new home by holding hands and relying all her trust on one person- her husband. It is the responsibility of a husband to make her feel omfortable and adjust in the new environment. I totally second you that it is the emotional attachment that keeps the bond strong. If your emotions are connected, physical relations just come quite easily. Especially in arranged marriages, love has to be first expressed in your communication. physical relation is the extension of love and emotional attachment that both partners gradually build up in their married life.
