Makes me wonder if Sita will cry at all when she's kidnapped and in ashok vatika. Maybe she will just give Ravan her self-righteous expressions all the time, and Ravan himself will send her back!

Don't get me wrong. I dislike weepy characters immensely, but when in times of duress, tears are a natural way to express one's sadness and worry. No one is expecting Sita to bawl, but if she frowns a bit and has a few tears in her eyes, it looks far more natural than to smile overconfidently. When Ram himself is crying, it's a cue for Sita to shed a few tears too.

CVs are trying to show her as a strong woman, but she just comes off as insensitive and uncaring.

I completely agree Di ..!

@bold- I am wondering the same ...
Even during before bidai ..she was acting all smart and was teaching her sisters.
the feelings at bidai of any girl are natural ...I wonder y did they hv nt showed her inner turmoil

😆😆😆 I was just thinking the same

And same will be the case when Lakshmana gets hit by Indrajit

All she is going to say is " Mere swami hain naa " .

I completely agree.
And there, Ram will be agonising and crying and talking about how without Lakshman, his existence has no meaning.
Atleast Urmila had good expressions. She was worried for her two brothers-in-law, and her husband.
