In my life the longest I had cried was the day, I saw the photo of my school friend in the suicide column of the newspaper 10 years back. Do you know why I cried that much. Because of my sensitive nature this girl had put a sentence in my autograph during 10th farewell.

" When someone says something to you, don't cry like a caged parrot, talk back like a crow that has seen the food " . I had smiled at the sentence and had tried to change myself to be less sensitive. Not to be so touchy. Yes that sentence helped me to evolve as a person.
But then the person who wrote that line doing suicide. Why did she lose the battle. Why couldn't she fight back, whatever the situation was, why she gave up so fast. What happened to the feisty girl I had known.
It was an irony. I survived with the wisdom she gave, but why didn't she

Shruthi, I can't help quoting this again... I tried a lot but I cudnt get it outta my mind...

I ges I do have an answer to your question. May be not exact but I can point somewhere ...

This I shall do on the basis of my experience...

Before that I have to admit something... Thru and thru the journey of my struggles, a thought of suicide lingers in my mind somewhere...

Its not a wise thing to say on a forum, but I choose to... I don't know why...

Maybe ur friend was tired of being positive? Maybe she thought her wisdom wasn't enough to win the battle of life?

These are my personal thoughts... I feel tired many times of enduring all hardships... I wish life was easier.. I thot why always me? I only cud think negative ( even today I go in a loop).

The struggle, the disappointments, the delays have formed a labyrinth from which I find no way out..

Whenever I get to extreme negative, I wish I cud run away from everything I wish I could be freed of this test now...

But a thot comes back to me and that is what about my parents? They have endured lot of trials than I ever did.. What about my brother who is still so patient in his turbulent times?

When I look at them I find my journey so easy...

My mumma actually appreciates that me and my brother though have faced so many hurdles never went towards the wrong way...

I think as the thin line between hope and struggle vabushes one ends up towards not so wise way.

I guess that's the very reason I find wisdom to be funny...

I find it to be terrible as we lose it to the unending trials...

I still don't know what wisdom is.. I can't define it..

I ges wisdom is to distinguish between right and wrong...

As we discussed MB many times and about krishna-parth am reminded of one character here.. I don't know if I really admire it or dislike it... But I ges that character gave me a glimpse of what actually is grey.. When I relate in real, I say when one sees life to be b/w the struggle starts... Its important that we understand that life is grey... Not b/w. And this character of MB did exactly the same thing, viewed things as b/w and ended up paying a heavy due...

That character is "devrath" who later became "bhishma".

His pratigya was the turning pt. He thot he's doing it for betterment... He saw that as white I.e he thot it wud bring him peace... But the later incidences made him believe that it was black, pitch black... But its none...

During the battle Krishna gave him wisdom of how his " personal dharma" became the nimitta of the down fall of kuru vansh...

As there's personal dharma I believe there's also smthn called personal wisdom...

I think at times we tend to c this personal wisdom which is beneficial for a shorter span...

When I get shrinked into a space of my own am reminded of what Krishna told bhishma and Arjuna...

Am reminded of how Krishna told Parth " mein sansaar hoon. Me arjun hoon, aur duryodhan bhi. Me surya hoon, Chandra bhi. Mein jad hu, Chetan bhi. Me sab kuch hoon aur main kuch bhi nahi".

Especially the last line, it hits deep... Very deep ...

Whenever am reminded of this, I look around to see what others suffer and I find that am not the only one...

What we generally do is, we apply wisdom into our personal space ( like bhishma did) and then suffer... And if we feel its too much, we decide to end it all...

The time we start looking at life as b/w we are reminded that its grey... We get trapped into things that seems both right and wrong... Everything becomes wrong and right...

And that's the fraction of second where everything ends... We lose our wisdom about which we have preached failing to recognise that it was limited... The time we expand the boeizond we won't take such extreme steps...

As I said the thot of suicide does linger in my mind... But I would never do it.. Why? Because I know that its not going to change anything or improve anyone's life... What makes me go on is the thought that ppl have suffered more than me...

Whenever I thought its perfect, I got a bigger challenge...

I started typing this from hospital... After which I went to the doc. The infection I suffer from is rare and dreadful... Am pretty good now... But what he said really shook me.. As I told I have exams in next week, he said this (pointing to my eye) is ur biggest test... Fighting this is a bigger thing, so pat ur back for this... U achieved what was toughest... So juz relax...

Now I'll take u to today's morning... I had things planned... Meeting the staff, working on project, seeing the doc... But trust ne, I faced failure in the morning.. Neither the doc was there nor the staff.. Even the project was delayed... I took my bag and went off.. I wasn't disappointed or angry.. I was quite calm.. That's an quality u c 😆

I got the reason to it In the evening...
I don't know where I am headed to.. I don't know if I'll get a job after exams.. I don't know if I'll do well in exams... I don't know if again I'll face a setback or I'll reach a new height...

Al l know is life is the best teacher if u wish to learn from it...

P.S- shruthi, I don't mean to hurt your sentiments in any manner by quoting your reply again and again... I juz found this whole thing so relatable... I have never tried to suicide but I have thot if it..

As psychology says, you lose motivation when you speak if your dreams or wishes..

Suicide is not my dream... Not even my wish.. But I thot me penning down this, it will lose its importance and I'll be at peace ..

SIYA KE RAM- 20/02/16- PATH UNSEEN
Have missed the first two parts... Will reserve the title till then...

Am glad I waited to watch the episode.. Splendid!!! Is the word... 👏

Janaka's last words of wisdom. Bravo!!! I guess shruthi will cover this in her post.. 😆 😳

A sharp line is drawn... As janaka's scene is over, we are taken to ayodhya. A visible parallel is drawn.

Out of the three am more looking forward to Sumitra. I don't know there's something in the character that pulls me right from the shiv bhajan. And sampada is doing a great job ⭐️.

Back to mithila..

What we see is a painting in which 4 girls are holding hands symbolic of the 4 sisters. Its poignant... They'll be together always without holding hands. Now comes the master stroke.. First urmila comes to sita. She caresses her cheek. Next we have mandvi whom sita comforts. But kirti stands st a distance. Again sunaina and chandrabhaga console the three girls. Meaning: The three as compared to kirti will face a tough time.
Again sita's destiny first shall directly affect urmila and then mandvi.
Kirti will be the spectator trying to ease of things by doing her duty.
Again I mention here of how the girls descended the steps. Sita and urmila in the front middle and next mandvi kirti but not in straight line of the former duo. And behind were sunaina janaka and chandrabhaga in a straight line. If seen with respect to geometry, I saw a trapezoid. Am clueless about the meaning... 😆 just a pointer.

Throughout the week I waited for how the sisters will be in the future... And the cvs have finally answered my prayers 😆

One crucial pointer the cv's have thrown for the future is the sequence in which the sisters walk...

The time they came down the stairs... Sita and urmila in a line.. Behind it was mandavi and kirti...

There was a pattern in which they ran back to their parents...

Sita leading alone... Meaning: she would be alone, leaving behind her sisters...

The three ran in a line, meaning they will be together...

Now notice the way they hugged and who they hugged...

Sita and kirti - JANAKA

Urmila- SUNAINA

Mandvi- CHANDRABHAGA

Its give a clear picture of how they shall stand and where they would stand...

Janaka is an epitome of knowledge- sita and kirti shall follow it.
( kirti as per the theory of 4 pillars, she's the one who stayed with her husband I.e attaining moksha)

Sunaina supports janaka - urmila shall be that big support to all..

Chandrabhaga is swayed by emotions- mandavi is definitely going to give a tough time...

Elaborating the stand of the sisters I would like to take u all back to a series of episodes. This was during the childhood. The girls had enacted a play. At this janaka had posed a question "ye sher kaun bana hai?" To this sunaina said, "urmila ke siva aur kaun ho sakta hai?"
Am pretty clueless about other two roles but according to my analysis kirti should be the victim and mandvi the demon. Am not sure of what was shown.. But this scene is from episode 2 and 3. But the interpretation is such: The evil in the name of kaikeyi's boons will severely affect all. The most eccentric will be mandavi( I'll relate this below). As in the play, before the devi comes, the sher comes to fight the demon. Similarly, once mandvi goes off beat urmila shall come to rescue. And then it will be sita. Now the devi-sher symbolism. Sher is the vaahan of devi. So till urmila doesnt prove to be a strong support, sita won't become the reason to kill ravana. As in the play the sher came first to rescue, urmila will let her husband go on exile. As it is ravan's defeat wasn't possible without lakshman.

Now coming to mandvi's stand. It would be pretty interesting. Am reminded of the first meet and subsequent scenes of 'bharavi'. The first time, the colours fall on mandvi but she chooses to be numb as he is jijashree's brother. But the next time a similar thing happens she explodes. Urmila convinces her that its her duty to see if the rituals are on time. She leaves it. The next time her volcano erupts is the marriage proposal. Sita hears her out. And bharat rests her anger at peace.

See the sequence of events and you'll appreciate it as you project it into future.

As charvi had pointed of elements previously, I'll try to give that angle also...

Sita-earth, urmila-water, kirti-air, mandvi-fire, ram-sun.

Without water nothing can grow on earth. The oxygen in the air is also a vital element for the survival of crops.

But have u enjoyed raw food or cooked food more? To cook the food, fire is needed.

And this is where mandavi fits...

The fire, her anger, her eruption will induce waves of guilt in the people of 'raghukul'.

Her sorrow, her anger will give a new dimension to the feelings of people for the mithila sisters.

Remember what janaka said to sita. He said she has to strive to make her place in the hearts of people. Even if that means giving 'agnipariksha' ( this is too deep and towards the end of vanvas) but by mention of 'agni', the story hints towards mandavi in the short term.. She has to fly off the handle to get things in motion.
Rem the bath scene after haldi. Urmila hurries as mandavi gets into a quarrel. Her quarrel is very important to figure out what is right at the moment.
Plus, making urmila as vidhikari also seems to be thoughtful. As in the absence of sita it will be her who will look after things. And kirti will follow, mandvi shall mess up for the greater good. Rem, the way bharat was again guilty to have ruined her box... 😉 bharat here represents the raghukul...

So, mandvi's messing up is imp for the three queens to understand the mithila sisters. As in previous analysis I said, guilt is both good and bad... This will shape up here.

Now one has to see is who shall mandvi be angry on? Who will pacify her? Ram or sita? Will bharat's patience be successful in dealing with her?

Coming to the running scene... Well shruthi has given a beautiful interpretation of this scene.

My take on the scene is as below-

If u have read my analysis previously, u may get that I look out for what is common with the past episodes.
This particular scene had the bgm common.
The music that was played many times.

First time when sunaina asks of sita's behaviour towards her sisters. The camera pan on urmila and then focus on mandvi. ( this foretells much of the future)
The next was gargi's blessings to sita.
After that its today when sita ran back. When sita looked back from the doli.

So now try to make a pattern...

As shruthi has given an interpretation about closing the past... Beautiful angle shruthi 👏

I analyse the scene on the basis of the bgm solely... The music is used when there's deep poignancy in the scene with a hint towards the future.

The feel that I got apart from the separation is-

Will sita face a time when she would want to go her father? Will anyone hug her in the time of her crisis? Will her sisters follow her? Will she ever get a time to see her parents again? Will she be able to share her pain with anyone? Will she find a solace anywhere?
My title is based on this interpretation. 😃

Thanks DD. Yes sometimes you feel tired feeling positive. But when you feel you cannot move an inch something positive happens. And coming to grey, beauty of epics has always been traversing the grey.😃

@DD have you left anything for me to say. You have covered most points. I will just add one point. Why did Sita ran back. Usually it is believed that once the vidaai starts you are not supposed to turn back. You have to look at your present, and leave behind the past. Still why did she run back.
Again Sita the Dharma or knowledge knows that yes we have to live in the present, but past has to be closed. Just by showing you have let go off the past, past never goes. Past has to be given a proper closure. Before getting into doli she wanted to see the face of her father, her mother , her near and dear ones. And she wants that picture in mind, fully before she the new pictures comes. The memory of the way she came.
An indication let whatever be the new glory coming your way, you should never forget the way you came. Because in that way lies the life lessons. And Sita does exactly that. And if you see Urmila is the first to follow her. The Arth or wealth that always take look at Dharma and follows it.

Shruthi, the running scene had one more thing... The background music... That tune is used very wisely...

First with sunaina and chandrabhaga during the test..
Then gargi blessing sita
Now sita running back...
And sita looking back through the doli as she leaves...

They have cleverly carved a pattern...

I'll add my interpretation to the update...

Hello there
I have missed lot of the analysis , I will read all and reply as soon as my exams get over .
Coming to today's episode
Beautiful was the episode , and so was your analysis .
How each one will be playing their part ,
Now I am coming back to the elements I can't just stop comparing it
Ram is the sun , sita is bhoomi and for plants to grow u need water , so urmilla will be the water , moreover if the land does not have water , it dries up and becomes barren and then does not support life , today I felt this is another thing theygoing to show .
Now , I got to know that urmilla is the daughter of varuna , so it exactly proves my point .

Jahnvi di , I believe one thing , whatever we do from childhood to adulthood we are creating ourselves to know who we are , to understand it .
And since we are a part of the supreme one we are indirectly trying to find him
One you are awake your life is alive , your thoughts are alive , so in sense you are everything and you are nothing
