SIYA KE RAM- 19/02- NIRVANA-
THE STORY OF LEGENDS

Nthn much to say for today... I ges a lot was covered in yday's and today's discussion. A bit occupied to elaborate much.

The story continues. I had written the meaning of vishwamitra and vishwarath yday, I should have done that today...

"Sarvashreshtha" rang a bell in my mind. Did it do so in ur mind too shruthi?

Am glad the way they showed Vashishtha in pain when narad and bramha ask him to bless vishwarath with "bramrishi" title.

The time he visits vishwarath, the pain is visible but what distracts him is the dedication of the king turned sage...

Vishwarath killed 100 sons of Vashishtha and paid it for 100 years by doing his "tapp".

On apologizing to Vashishtha, he declares of how he's ashamed of his deeds. He seeks forgiveness aa his soul is trapped by guilt.

A wave of emotion surpasses Vashishtha's face. Not for the pain of his children but for how a soul suffered of guilt even when he had forgiven his culprit.

Till now, all straight.. What was interesting is the inculcation of ram in this whole scene.

I had said yday. I'll repeat again...

Though there were important pivots in the week, a common point where all converged was " RAM".

Monday he observed
Tuesday he understood
Wednesday he promised
Thursday he acted

Now this is "convergence". Everything came and met to the point " Ram" from Mon to Thu.

What was different today?

The theory of divergence starts.

That is Ram suggested his guru to apologize for his deeds to get freed.

What does Vashishtha do? He says how Ram got you here. How my pupils were under your tutelage. How you were the reason for their alliances.

Important is not vishwamitra or vashishtha. Important is the one who makes it clear. Who makes it diverge.

Mon-Thu Ram took in what he could. He assimilated. Everything converged on him.

Today a different journey shall begin. How Ram will diverge the light (meaning: knowledge) he has.

Coming to the title, NIRVANA.

It means moksha, mukti.

A remarkable message in a subtle tone.

Be free of guilt, ego, anger and you'll be at peace.

Am here reminded of Ram's dialogue.

"Jab tak aap kshama maangenge nahi pata kaise chalega ki unhone aapko kshama kiya hai ya nahi?"

Now project this towards the future-

Will Ram be able to apologize to sita? Will he ever know if she has forgiven him or not? Will he be free of his guilt? Who will free him of this?

The legends being Vashishtha, Vishwamitra and Ram.

Ponder over the last line 😉

P.S: Won't be much active for the subsequent discussions next week as my exams are scheduled. Will be updating the analysis though. But won't participate in the after-sessions 😆. I guess shruthi would be there for doubt clarification if any ( haven't asked her😆 for granted maan lo 😉)

Today the best thing was when Ram and Vishwamitra entered Ram was in front, Vishwamitra behind.
It was a beautiful conclusion of a journey between Ram and Vishwamitra. Ram the Shishya who was walking behind Vishwamitra, today walked in front of him.

It was highly symbolic of a Shishya whose greatness is going to surpass the guru. And every guru excepts a Shishya who can walk ahead of him, who can make him proud, with the knowledge he gained, he surpasses the glory of Guru. And Guru is connected through him.

Bang wala on shruthi... Ekdum...👏 in bombaiya bhasha KADAK... 😛

I loved that scene... Absolutely...

Cherry on cake was Vashishtha's dialogues later..

I have given a different angle...

As vishwamitra said goodbye, did u notice how this connects? From the time he took ram lakhan with him, he took their responsibility, their leadership...

Ram learned and today he showed that his training was over...

A very imp thing Vashishtha got "vyavaharikta" and "shastra".

Vyavaharikta is essentially communication, management.
Shastra is technicalities.

And today Ram gave a proof his vyavaharikta by convincing vishwamitra to apologize...

Or ram in front and vishwamitra behind, my interpretation-

Its like a parent taking his kid who has done wrong to make him apologize to the victim..

Mark how vishwamitra came, his head bowed down..

Lord showing his child a way, taking him to nirvana...

And during the tym when VM washes Vashishtha's feet a constant focus is on these three...

The way they seated...

The guilty is sitting down, the victim on upper pedestal and the guide is beside...

Wonderful it was... ⭐️

@DD vyavaharitha and sastra seperate post made as post of the day. And it was a traingle. Ram was in middle. He was the base that connected the other 2 lines.
Same is with Vishnu right. Vishnu is the base the sustenance that connects creation and destruction.
or again you can say the 4 pillars.
Vasishtha knowledge, Vishwamitra Power, and Ram takes both knowledge and Power as wealth to use it wisely in his life along with Lakshmi so that moksha can be achieved. If you notice camera spanned on Sita's face too.

@DD what an analysis dear. Convergence and divergence. You know you have laid out the principle of sun,
Sun is the centre point from where rays diverge. And it is the distance between Sun and Earth is what is responsible for life on earth. Earth is neither too near, not too far. Just at the perfect distance.

If you remember in the Gyaan Sabha Yajyavalkya talks about Sun and Pritihvi and tells that we are all the products of that eternal love between sun and Prithivi.

Today the CVs have bought that theory to practical plane. Sita who heard the thoery of sun and prithvi is going to apply it in her life.

Sun is Ram, yes he is Sooryavanshi and Sita is Prithvi or Bhumija. In the love, in keeping the right distance where Prithvi revolves around Sun, their relationship is going to emerge. Saath Saath par swathantra

@DD sarvashresth did ring a bell and a theory. But I will wait 😆

DD,
Nirvana is a very apt title.👏 The whole episode dealing with forgiveness being sought, after it was already given...and the last glimpse of Vishwamitr walking out, after having played his part suggests just that...

So Vasishta had forgiven him the moment he realised Vishwarath had truly become deserving enough to be called Brahmarishi. He had been far too impressed by Vishwamitr's devotion that had led to the genesis of Gayatri mantra, to hold his past against him.

Both the brahmarshis have come across as being equally applaudable here. It took only a second for Vasishta to forgive him, but Vishwamitr's healing got completed years later...Forgiveness had been given, but he still sought it. Vasishta's healing (harbouring any ill feelings towards the man who had decimated his family) had been completed the day he had freely given forgiveness and Vishwamitr's lasted until the day he asked for it in words, despite the many good deeds he had done over the years.

And Ram had stood silently beside the man who had guided him so far, gently nudging him along the path that led to his moksha. How adorable that the seeker needed this subtlle guiding from his god.

Shruti,

That must have been a terrible thing about your classmate. I happened to read Rohit Vemula's suicide note and wondered what had happened to a boy who had been brave enough to stand up against the system for so long. And then I wondered if I could have helped him as a friend or a teacher...or how I would have felt like I failed him had I known him...

But then, I guess it is that moment when darkness devours one...and how blessed are some of us that we happened to take a step in the opposite direction...cannot call it anything but Grace from the God above.

Shruthi, I was amazed at what was shown from Mon to Fri... All so beautifully connected... And I couldn't help noticing ram everyday with a vital role...

I thot something has to be there... Why is he shown in every episode that too in imp scenes? I was speculative of this theory when I wrote penance. But I preferred to wait... 😆 and yes my assumption was right... Every single scene where camera pan on ram, I was jumping with excitement 😆 ki chalo they are moving sensibly...

I ges I missed yagyavalva sabha scene? Wen was it? Childhood kya? Had I seen I would have elaborated... But thank you so much for doing that... 😳

My only focus throughout was the theory of convergence and divergence... If u watch the episodes from Monday to Friday back to back u'll get how deeply they have worked on screenplay... Sheer brilliance... 👏

And yes I purposefully added 'legends' 😉

Now u have added yagyavalva also...

If one connects siya-ram to these 3 maharishis a different angle comes up... (One more name that remains is 'gargi') she deserves that place...

So now u have 4.. 4 legends, 4 pillars, 4 brothers, 4 sisters, according to the sequence in solar system keeping sun as first u'll c earth's position is 4th (so again 4) , and if u c in numerology 4 is related to putting pieces together, a builder, "down to earth" and "hardworking" are the right terms. Again a solid figure has 4 corners...

This 4 is going to be consistent till the end.. Won't delve deep.. Will wait if anything substantial plays out...

Yes "sarvashreshtha" did ring a loud bell in my mind but I too prefer to wait 😆
