I remember after swayamvar episode many people in the forum were asking about the background songs played during the episode, they were not songs those were quatrains from Ramacharitramanas. Here I have written the lines in the same sequence as used in the show with their translations. I have tried my best to translate it but it may have mistakes so I welcome all the suggestions regarding my translation.
One important point - Ramacharitramanas is written in Awadhi / Baiswari not in Hindi we use today.
Biswamitra samay subh jaani, bole aati snehamay baani
Uthahu Ram banjahu bhavchapa, metahu taat Janak paritapa.
This is from the part when no other prince/King couldn't lift the divine bow
Translation - Viswamithra understood it was right (auspicious) time, he said in extremely affectionate voice (aati snehamay baani), "Ram get up and string the bow so that Janak's grief/problem (paritapa) is erased."
Uur anubhavati na kahi sak soau, kavan parkar kahe kabi koau
Aihi bidhi raha jahi jas bhau, tehi tas dekheu kosalraau.
This quatrain doesn't belong where it was used in the show. These lines are from that part of the epic when Ram entered the swayamvar and unlike the show he was present throughout the ceremony.
Translation - When Sita saw Ram she felt something so intense that even she couldn't express it to anyone then how can poet tell what she was feeling. And like that everyone saw Ram (kosalraau) depending on the person particular's feeling (bhau) bhaavna.
Guruhi pranaamu mannhi mann keenha, aati laghav uthai dhanu linha
Damakeu damini jimi jab layau, puni nabh dhanu mandal sam bhayau.
This is the part when Ram lifted the bow
Translation - Sita mentally (mannhi mann) respectfully greeted (pranaam) guru when Ram lifted the bow. The moment Ram lifted the divine bow he shined (damakeu) like light (damini) and the whole sky bent in shape of bow.
Sohat janu jug jalaj sanala, sasihi sabheet det jayamala
Gaavahi chabi avloki saheli, Siya jayamaal Ram uur meli.
This is when Sita put garland around Ram's neck
Translation - Sita's hand seemed as if two lotus were holding the garland, it looked as if moon slightly scared (sabheet) was giving the garland. Girls were singing while seeing the supernatural or divine (avloki) image meanwhile Siya placed garland around Ram's neck.
