quite an entertaining episode it was
With the maskhara mamas, and the supercilious sevak, poor shatanand didn't know what to do

While Dashratha himself may be having all the kingly shaan, he's not really a snob

But his overzealous sevak made him look like one

Actually Dashratha is a man who follows propriety, and fiercely follows the traditions of the Raghukul,

But he's actually very grounded as seen by his behaviour in the ashrama

But Sita is going to face the same classic struggle of adopting to a family with a different belief system

Her outspokenness, her questioning nature all maybe misunderstood in her sasural, and that is what Sunayana was trying to tell her.

Of course the dialogue of the day was Ayodhya ki toh mitti bhi sona aur Mithila ka sona bhi mitti

How will Bhumija adapt to a home where life is lived by rules, and external materialism is given importance - this world is a far cry from her simple world where the King himself is a farmer.

Will Dashratha not meet his bahu till after the wedding? Will Sunayna not be allowed to attend Sita's wedding?

Janane ke liye ...

what an title indeed
beautiful episode..

Mithila ki to mitti bhi sona hai aur ayodhya ka sona hi mitti ke samman hai this dilouge says it all

Mithila is all of ones true self and nature
where ayodhya...is all about power fame conquer and prathista...

Mithila looks smooth or pale but it holds harmony and...the real knowledge...the home of nature..

Ayodhya looks big and grand but laks harmony and individuality...and rule striken--home of power and weapon hence less harmony more of honour stiimen!!

i am sure once sita enters ayodhya ayodhya ko der nahin lagey gi dosri mithila..baney mein ...lets hope for the best...!😊

@Arshics I was searching your post. I was wondering what happened to you. Didn't see your posts for a couple of days😆. The title is the best one.
Dasrath as a person is down to earth. But the kul he has been born follows certain rules and maryadas and he follows them rigidly without questioning or without trying to see if there is a better way of doing it. And that might be the reason his sevaks feels he needs all the grandeour.
Bhumija was a lady with wisdom I would say. This rules and regulations would have been one reason she decided to follow her husband to the forest. Because Bhumija can manage this rules only with the help of her Ram. Without him the palace and its rigidity will stifle her. So when the choice came she decided as a wife to follow him than remain in the palace that might have luxuries, but will not give her independence.
Unlike the bahus of our current serials between husband and saas dump hubby, choose saas😆😆. People have to see Sita to understand Patni Dharma. In a way even Urmila did Patni Dharma only. Lakshman had seva bhav to his brother and family and he expected his wife to complete the seva bhav. One took care of Ram and Sita, the other took care of Mother's in Ayodhya.

Liked the title Arshi!
Ayodhya with its rigidity and its strict adherence to the paramparas is perhaps in for a shock with the arrival of Bhumija and her sisters. Ayodhya is rich in culture, aishwarya, but does seem like a closed society,so the arrival of new vadhus from the land of knowledge and simplicity will only enhance its glory!
In the promo of the' vivaah saptah 'I saw Sunaina and other ladies at the marriage venue...May be Ram does manage to achieve the impossible!😉

Nice post Arshi👏👏
Sita has to really adopt herself to the Royal behaviour
As the daughter in law of Maharaj Dashatad she has to completely transform her original nature and adopt to remain quiet
But I don't think she will face a hard time while adjusting herself😳
Ram is so like her he even dares to question his father and bring the right change infact a better change in society.😳
He will support Sita in every step she takes and will always defend her😳 As he personally feel wife and husband are equals😳
i feel that we might witness a positive change in Ayodhya's customs after Sita's arrival😃 as their Bahu
Sita can win anyones heart with her sweet talks😳

@Arshics: Its long time to comment in ur thread. I liked yesterdays episode which was full of mithila.
Somewhat the dialogue "ayodhya ki mitti bhi sona aur mithila ka sona bhi mitti " was not much catchy for me as it was used by sita's mamaji. I mentioned about my view regarding this in Shruthi's thread.

I liked the convo between guru Vishwamitra and King Dhasarath. Beautiful one and the actors simply nailed it 👏. When Guru Vishwamitra said sorry to Dhasarath for bringing his sons to mithila w/o his permission, the reply by the king was quite awesome "who else can understands the good for students". Ayodhya respected the guru more than anything. I had a thought, if guru vashisht had ordered Ram aur Sita from not going to exile, what Ram and Dhasarath could have done?😉
