Guruvayur temple is not considered one among 108 divya desam. Only those Vishnu temples where Azhwars (12 azhwars) sang the mangalasasanam for Narayan are known as Divya desam/ sthalams. Even though Guruvayur is very famous krishna temple, the reason for not included it is, among 108 Divya desams here Krishna is a bachelor in the temple. The azhwars sang praising narayan only in places where lakshmi was present . I heard this from temple priest in thirukoyilur.

Thirukoyilur is a beautiful temple with thiruvikraman (ulagalantha perumal) as the main deity. It is the temple where the first 3 azhwars stayed under a roof during rain and had the dharshan of Lord Vishnu. This is the temple where the azhwars sang the first 3 andadhis of nalayira divya prabandam and his mentioned in sangam tamil literature dated 3rd BC.

Lord thiruvikraman stands with one feet and the other facing sky and brahma will be pouring water in narayan's feet. The Periya pirattiyaar (laxmi), Mahabali, Sukracchariyaar, Mirugandu Munivar, his first wife and three first Alwars are well carved in the moolavar. Here the sudharsana chakkara is on the left hand and sangu is on the right hand of Moolavar ( name: Dahaleesan) which is a special thing, as the reverse is quite observed in other temples.

In my POV, Vishnu is really mayapurush, the moment we come out of his temple we will forget the details unlike shiva temple.😆

@Ramya Guruvayoor temple is dedicated to Balakrishna. So anyways he will be bachelor only naa😆😆
Putting two more temples of Kerala. Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna Temple. The story of this temple goes that when people feared attack from Tipu Sulthan the Moola vigraham was taken from Guruvayoour and was kept at Ambalapuzha as Ambalapuzha was considered safer. So it is believed that even if we don't go to Guruvayoor people of South Kerala can worship Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna as it is equivalent to worshipping Guruvayoor Shree Krishna. The Palpayasam( Milk Kheer) of Ambalapuzha is very famous and in Malayali wedding feast or any other feast the quality of Palpayasam is compared with Ambalapuzha Palpayasam. If someone says like Ambalapuzha Palpayasam that means it is really great.
Another temple is Chengannor Shiva Temple. Though it is Shiva Temple it is more known for Parvati because it is said that the Parvati idol in this temple will have periods called Thripoothu. At that time the idol is kept in a side temple kept specifically for this. The clothes of the Goddess used during Thripoothu time are booked. People believe that if they bring that cloth home it is very auspicious.
