Sri Vittal Rukmini Temple Pandharpur Maharashtra
This is Lord Krishna temple I visited last year. What I felt beautiful about this temple was we could touch the feet of both Krishna idol and Rukmini idol. I could place Tulsi Mala myself at Lord Krishna's feet and Marigold Mala at Rukmini's feet. It was a divine feeling because it was the first time in a temple I was going so near to the Lord and actually touching the idol.

Shri Siddivinayak Temple Mumbai Maharashtra
This temple has to be visited, what a beautiful and divine idol of Lord Ganesha. It is very small reddish in color but one look at it we feel the positive energy within us. Such positivity and serenity is there for the idol as the name suggests. You will feel blessed just standing there for a few minutes and actually we were lucky because there was no rush in the temple.
It is said that Tuesday is the day where there will be a big pilgrim rush to this temple. We visited the temple on a Monday.

Yes Ramya the culture have survived through centuries and to ensure it is taken forward the younger lot should know its essence.
Even we are learning and actually manasa because of questions from many young members in the forum I have also learned a lot as you guys have made me think. Most of my cousins are in your age group Manasa some15-23 years but only few are interested in mythology.
