It is easy to say. Court dismissed the case thats enough !! why to spoil someone career just because he raised a question?? Any person who dont know hiduism if reads Ramayan will blame lord ram for doing it. No woman will be happy with that kind of behaviour by her husband be it Ram or krishna !! But filing a case against someone who is physically not alive anymore is stupidity. Thats why i would call that lawyer stupid.

@Ami
It's not wrong to raise a question, we do see people questioning Lord Rama and Lord Krishna but to file a case and the case easily getting a slot in the court and getting a verdict too ?
Is it not funny that in a country where numerous cases are not even filed or getting closed even before reaching the court , a case against Lord Rama was given so much importance ?
Police may send away a child affected by child harassment saying a child lacks logic or is unable to understand the situation and not file his case but then they have the audacity to drag Lord Rama /Krishna to the court ?
It's not at all stupidity , its publicity and yes the guy got what he wanted i.e our attention..

About lord Ram being a good husband or not , its a highly debatable issue ... But even today if one talks about an ideal husband wife couple Ram Sita 's name is kept at the top.. Why? Because its the faith that matters... Our faith in lord Ram in Lord Krishna.. What about Lord Buddha who abandoned his wife, his son , his kingdom for the greater good of society... Will one drag all the avtars of Vishnu to the court?
Not saying one should have blind faith but the truth is no matter how much scientific we may become , we will still pray and worship God and that is faith...
Whatever has happened has happened with a cause and it has an effect too.. Even lord Ram had to bear the pain of separation after his wife was sent on exile..His pain was no less than Sita..
Finally they reunited as Vishnu and Lakshmi , it all ended there...

Ps : my second para is not directed to u , but in general..
It's completely my view, not to hurt anyone else's views

@Ami the problem is taking one instance in isolation and seeing it in isolation. Before we comment on whether Ram was a good husband or not, we have to understand the story, understand Ram as a person by that I mean character analysis how he took actions, what were the reasons for the actions. Without the wholistic view we are arriving at conclusions and put our actions on Ram did like this, so I can do that. @aditi it is like you take anything from Sanathana Dharma, question it and you can get away with it. People have no qualms taking the assumed bad things from Sanathana Dharma and projecting the religion as backwards. But Sanathana Dharma was a lot of good things, most important the principle of co-existence and all our stories highlight that. It's time that too also came out.

Agree people should extract the good from epics ...
It's very easy to say the religion is backward but when we understand the true essence of our epics we see that in those times people were more advanced than us ... Not in terms of science but in terms of mentality of the people... Few things which bother us so much nowadays were not at all a big deal in those days ..

i undretsand what u are trying to say. No offence taken. I agree with you filing a case is joke wasting your talent as a lawyer and wasting courts time i guess. to asnwer your question on Lord bhudha he was a normal human who left his family to meditate and became enlighted !! he left his family at his palace!!! But Lord ram left his pregnant wife to wander around in the jungle !! I see can not see any spiritual reason to do that. but anyway lets just end this discussion here !! the whole point is filing a case against Rama is crazy !! glad court didnt entertain it any further

I am not against worshiping Lord rama - those who do it - it is perfectly fine. But i am not being scientific when i say i think lord Rama was a bad husband !! I think it as a woman and i dont find anything spiritual in abandoning your wife when she is pregnant just because of few people said something against her !!! but apart from our discussion i think filing a case is silly !! Every person is different when it comes to worship or not to worship anyone. There are millions of things wrong in sanamtam dharm , and some are good too !! but i wont get it started here now. My whole point was against this man filing a case again Lord ram and wasting courts time. just one last word- injustice was done with SIta and even God can not deny this !! she left lord rama in the end anyway ! and if u think lord ram was god , still i say to that God -- you have done injustice to your wife --- period ! this is what i feel as a woman which is above any religious discussion or spiritual reasoning
