Hayee I would love to see hug between Ram-Sita. Ashish-Madirakhi is having a good chemistry so far and I am sure it will intensify after Ram-Sita character marriage 😃

A hug can be shown delicately if the team wants as this is shown from Sita's perspective and Ram-Sita love story is given importance. Makers don't have to shy away from delicate romance.
Even in the epic while giving the hair ornament to Hanuman, Sita speaks about Kakasur troubling her while Ram was sleeping in her lap and then Ram woke up and shooed away the asur with his astra. This is an incident only known to them and this is an additional proof which Sita gives to hanuman.
So the epic itself has some intimate moments of the couple told delicately, so the show can take the liberty to show the viewers some delicate romance. It wont hurt.

Yaar saaf saaf baat hai...our literature never shied from writing sensual stuffs, be it hug, kiss and ahem sex. I am a student of literature, Trust me. Read the plays of our famous sankrit poets, read krittivas's ramayan, read mricchakatik or kadambari and i promise u will turn scarlet in a moment.this recent trend of conservatism in our religion and society is actually colonial hangover. The repressed victorians slammed all our books as indecent, uncouth...and taught us to think, read, write like them. We obedient followers as ever are following their obsolete way of thinking. They however recovered real fast and is writing tasteless sex stories like 50 shades. While we are still thinking from victorian standards of morality. So deeply ingrained has it become in our psyche, we think that itz our culture. Haye re ram! Show us light.

@milinda dear I know. Sometimes I have wondered did my convent education robbed me of my culture. Yes I studied in English medium, I got marks, I got a well paying job, but my culture. If not for the Bhagavad Gita classes I went in childhood, if not for the stories my great aunt told of Ramayana and Mahabharatha, if not for the courses I studied from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha I would never have even thought of initiating a journey backwards to understand my culture when I faced a problem.
A journey I am always thankful I took, because what it opened up in front of me was something which my heart had always believed in, but could never support with proof.
The proof was there in our culture, the proof was there in our epics, the ethos of my religion Sanathana Dharma was not what I see today. What I see is the distortion of my religion maybe done by our colonial masters so that we never go back to our roots, never understand our true culture and disregard anything that is ancient.
They dealt with extremes. We dealt in balance of our outer and inner space. Physical union in western books is mostly connected to body, whereas the same thing in Eastern Literature is more at an emotional and spiritual level.
I wish more of that buried knowledge comes out. Through shows, through movies so that new generation sees East for what it is.

I don't think we can expect more than a hug as sita and ram are considered as god and aajkal protest kuch zyada jaldi hote hai kuch bhi dikha de issliye hug bhi mushkil lag raha mujhe may be ek side hug mil jaye ya nahi😕 🤔
