The TV show 'Siya Ke Ram' will soon see the entry of Ravan and him kidnapping Sita. But in real life, the actors who play Sita and Ravan " Madirakshi Mundle and Kartik Jayaram " are close friends. In fact, when the makers were in the process of finalising their Ravan, it was Madirakshi who informed Karthik about the auditions. The actor, who has done many Kannada movies, says, "I met Madirakshi while shooting an ad in which we played husband and wife. We became friends and in fact, she was the one who told me the production house was auditioning for Ravan's role. And even before she got selected, I was chosen." Ask him about his role and he says, "I didn't want to do TV, but this is a challenging role. The best Ravan I have seen so far is the one enacted by Arvind Trivedi in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan. I don't think anyone can beat that performance. I am looking forward to playing the character."
