A calm episode, - a lull before the war!

And maybe a momentous fleeting meeting of Rama and Sita

Who are once again united in their mission

While he fights the enemy from outside

She supports the people inside

Both upholding the legacy of their illustrious fathers

Daliogue of the day - I think must go to mandvi

I may be afraid but I am not a coward !!!

And the scene of the day was - Dashratha with the 3 queens

Sumitra and Kaushalya by his side

Supporting him and a watchful and cagey kekeyi

The most sterling moment - Manishji's change of expressions when he came face to face with Rama

Mantramugdha one moment and wary the next as he remembered his conversation with Dashratha

Finally watched the episode online.
A perfect title for today's episode.

Wonderful post.

Loved your poem. Very nice!!!!

Coming to the episode a nice episode.

The best scenes as you described were the scene of Raja Dashratha with her three queens.

And not to forget the scene of Ram and Rishi Vishwamitra the highlight for the day.

Manishji's stole the show with his expressions. Awesome!!!!

Overall quite interesting episode.

Acting is really superlative and controlled from most actors esp Dilip Tahil and Manish ji.

And the direction with its underplayed emotions and subtlety is also great!

@Arshics: Wonderful poetic and rhythmic analysis of the episode.
There were so many beautiful events in a single episode. Starting from sita and her sisters concern for Rishis, Love of dhasarath to his son Ram, Vishwamitra identifying who is Ram, emotional support of Sumitra, Kaushalya to Dhasarath with confused kaikeyi's status and the source given for adopting sita and her sisters in vishwamitra ashram (I forgot the name, can anyone mention it here again).

The highlight moment for me was the Guru Vishwamitra's expression on seeing Ram as Lord Vishnu. His expression was like, he was sure that no need for him to ask/force anything, Ram was there to take care of Rishis and to destroy the evil.

@Aayushi: Same here, the expression of Vishwamitra is spot on 👏

@Arijit: u too😊. Nice one.

Thanks Arijit, Yes, Dashratha is now accepting that Rama is meant for bigger things and he has to learn to let go!

It was Dashratha's athaah Prem for Rama that was finally responsible for his death, a he could not tolerate the viyog

I remember as a child in the ramlila near our house, Tadaka was a very popular character in a comical sense and her battle with Rama used to be one of the highlights for us!
She was Ravana's aunt - chachi Tadaka as she was called in our Ramayana !

Thanks Ramya, it had many significant moments, but it was basically setting the stage for the battle.

I suppose the writers are getting fed up of being accused of distorting the epic, so have started citing their sources, but the name flashed by before I had the chance to look at it.

I loved Manishji's expressions when he first saw Rama. Became a fan of his in mahakumbh and am so happy to see him here

@ True Arshics. I read it but as usual forgot the name of the author.
@blue: He is good in acting. Most of the actors in this show just simply convey their message by expression. My appreciation to all. My knowledge in TV shows, Cinema and actors is very limited. But I think most of the actors are popular artists.

@Arshics name of the author was bhavabhooti a 7th century poet and i forgot the book they mentioned. But I am happy the CVs have started citing the sources.
And as usual another poetic analysis by you. Yes Vishwamitra understood who Ram is. But did you notice he didnt change his anger and walked out so that no one else know the knowledge he has got. Gurus of those days were very careful in giving gyaan or information. They knew the past , present and future but they believed in not meddling with it unnecessarily. unlike the astrologers of today who gives one prediction after another.
I liked the way the 3 queens pacifying Dasrath especially Kausalya and Sumitra who understand their son is grown up.
I would say it is a lesson to many mothers who keep their sons tied in their apron strings. What he does, what he wears even after they grow up mothers take the decision. It is really bad for the offspring. Because a son can still debate with a father, but the emotional binding of a mother is hard to break and you put your own child to misery by your tantrums.

It was a good episode.

Sita and sisters going to Viswamitra ashram , meeting ram and laxman there, apparently, they have adapted from Mahaveer Charitra by Bhavabhuti
