the beauty of this show is that every episode has a message, a gyan that it enriches us with.
Today it focused on the difference between Prem and Moh
Prem which is secure, which gives strength and which is not vichalit
And Moh - which is unsecure, which makes you emotionally weak
And that also was the difference between the love of Janak and Dashratha
I think today also highlighted the love of parents for their children and the various forms in which it manifests
In garv and joy, as we saw in Janak
In fear and insecurity, anxiety as we saw in Dashratha
And in anger when ones child comes to harm, as we saw in shravana Kumars parents
I also like the light it throws on Dashratha's character - as a king who is trapped in Moh, as a person who gives his promises lightly - and then pays a heavy price in fulfilling them
Come to think of it, Rama's vanvas was due to a vachan lightly given and heavily fulfilled
An excellent episode, young Sita is extraordinarily impressive
The highlight scene for me was Dashratha's apprehension that he will not be able to recognise his sons comes to naught and he easily identifies his sons ... And then he sees Rama- the way his brothers take their position waiting for their bade bhaiyya... Awesome!
