What kinf of court they show in these hindi drama's where court assume that a person is dead and another person is held responsible ??

without dead body
i meen it take years and years for a court to decide even if a dead body is found and there is a clear evidence of the crime. but here in hindi drama's if someone comes and say I have seen this person comitting a murder the court believes it and without even seeing a dead body can announce the verdict.
any comments ?
