It is shallow, agreed. The fact that the same shallow-ness is shown in other movies/ TV shows does not make it better. He did fall for a random girl that he knew nothing about, except her looks, and luckily for the show creators the audience seems to dig that.

but people never had problem with other movie/tv shows but why here? if that was also wrong than why not we object other tv/movies as well 😕 Why these real life rules applies only to silsila characters? they are also imaginary and tv /web characters, why not they gets benefit of doubt?

People have raised the same problem with several other movies and TV shows as well, at least the people in my circle. Its all preference- some folks prefer more realistic and organic love stories, at least from web series if not frol ITV, and always raise this complaint.

Exactly. But there have always been a minority faction of people who criticize that aspect, as there are for this show.
