I have seen his previous show, I highly doubt that he's capable of such things

This I can agree with , that actor may not have not been able to emote onscreen but it doesn’t change the fact that what is happening with him is heartbreaking. The actor is unable to emote that is a different issue.

So let’s say everything remains the same if the actress playing Mauli was a horrible actress would we have supported Kunan? Would we have wanted Kunal to leave and abuse a pregnant Mauli for someone else? If the guy playing Veer was an awesome actor would that have made Mishaan wrong? Would we have said that Veer doesn’t deserve this? So everything is acting dependent and not characterisation and story line dependent? I mean personally even if the most horrible actress was playing Mauli I would have still felt bad for her and criticised kunan because no matter the acting kunan were wrong and Mauli’s characterisation was beautiful. Same is now whether the guy playing Veer is good or a bad actors it doesn’t matter. Mishti has been honest about her feelings , she has done the right thing. For Veer he does have my sympathy because till date he believed he is marrying a girl who loves him all of a sudden he comes to know she doesn’t.I sympathise with his heartbreak.

I feel acting makes a difference.

For example if we interchange DD and ADS for nandini and mauli, i think there would have been a significant change in audience reaction..Nandini was a character who underwent domestic violence, physical and mental abuse for years. In her vulnerable state she got swayed by the love and care shown by a man..it was kunal who took advantage of her mental state. Nandini as a character had a lot of scope. I feel if a more capable actress(like ADS) had played nandini, people would have been able to understand her in a better way and would have been ready to cut her some slack...people would have been way more lenient on her than Kunal but in reality the opposite happened..

When it comes to Veer i feel more sympathy for him in my imagination than when i watch the actual scene..When the character himself is giving expressions like he is not that affected by mishtis revelation, how am i supposed to cry for him.. It makes me think may be he was never that emotionally involved with her, so its okay, he will be fine soon.

May be we are being too harsh on Ruhaan.

I guess you meant Rohan😆. Harsh, maybe yeah.

But the truth is he's an average actor, with zero variations, zero voice modulations, and very few expressions... It's hard to relate to his characters. I can only empathize with the pain Veer is feeling as a character owing to the emotional blow he's facing, but Rohan fails to bring it out through his portrayal onscreen, so that I can feel for him and cry along...

That relatable factor comes only with proper writing of a character and great acting of the actor. Which is missing here.
