Dont take this personally, but I feel that you're supporting Mishti blindly somewhat here.
1. Veer had every reason to be mad at Mishti when she repeatedly (not once or twice, mind you) humiliates his friend. Is Mishti the only one who has the right to display negative emotions?
Sometimes when I anger my friends a lot we end up not talking for days. Couples fight and don't talk for days. Are they all 'horrible human beings' like Veer? Veer's reaction was very justified and normal. He was angry and needed time to cool off. Pray, what's so abnormal in that?
2. Veer never 'ordered' her to do anything, I dont know where you got that from. Yes, Mishti might have stopped herself from saying 'No' due to her own internal issues, but that isn't Veer's fault that she has these issues. So why blame him? Veer didnt have any intention of ordering her about, he did what HE thought was the best for her. Can you blame him for that?
3. Not all people are the same. Some are so over-enthisuastic that they end up taking decisions for others. Not saying it's right, but we cannot blame them if others dont protest against it. Also, Veer only had her best interests in mind and never had the intention of ordering her to do anything.
Krystal, no worries. I don't take anything personally😃, otherwise I can't survive in my day to day life.
No blind support to badi Mishti, my friend. I agree, choti Mishti and her Popsie duo have a piece of my heart for ever and ever❤️ That is a fact, done, dusted and sealed forever🤗 But the badi Mishti still hasn't earned my respect🤔.
But after yesterday, whatever opinions I put up here, all seem moot😔. I genuinely felt that she wasn't recoiling because of a third party, because I didn't see anything building upto that. I thought it is all because of Veer himself, how she is not able to gel with his mentality, his demeanor, his highhandedness as I see it. But after yesterday, I admit I am wrong. No two ways about it🤢 I was appalled as I heard her monologue of " don't look at me like that😡👎🏼" and from then on everything went downhill. Simply put, I cannot stomach her monologue nor the fondling of the shirt. Eww... my skin is crawling as I remember that scene. Even if the writers tell me that the second part is a dream she had no control on, her monologue I don't know how to reconcile with😲
If it had gone this far, meaning, some other guy is permeate her thoughts and that is why she is recoiling from her fiancee's touch, NO QUESTION, she should absolutely back out of the impending wedding, whether she knows what that feeling means or not. She can figure that out at her own pace. Some of you saw it coming, others like me didn't. Simple as that.
That doesn't mean I have any fondness towards Veer. That guy gives me the worst kind of jitters. I am not sure if the character is supposed to shape up as such or the actor is portraying that way, but he comes across as too pretentious, too superficial, too full of himself, for me to have any empathy for this guy. Again, that is final in my mind.😳 But I agree, he doesn't need to be kept hanging anymore.
As far as Ruhaan goes, I didn't like the guy at the outset when the show started. I felt that the guy was too arrogant. But he convinced me otherwise, he seems like a quiet, silent, observant kind of a guy. Even though he liked the girl, he didn't do anything to woo her, either emotionally manipulative or physically to get her. Whatever he feels for her, he still kept it close to his heart, for himself only. I don't have any problem with that. He doesn't seem like he is best buddies with Veer as well, that connection is obviously missing even though Veer guy keeps saying it. So, I am going to give him the benefit of doubt still, and hope he does the right thing.
So long, have a great day !!! Who knows what other dhamaka is in store for us. May be they will make us all stand on our heads😡 and twist us into knots with the stupid logic.
