I do believe Mishti loves Veer but not the way he loves her. From what I've seen of Veer so far, he's a pretty straight forward character. He honestly loves Mishti and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. He tries to understand her and is always attentive of her needs. You can't plan life out. Life is unpredictable. It will throw curveballs at you and you have to find a way to deal with it. Mishti does not know how to deal with it. I believe Mishti does love Veer but not in the way he needs. If you truly love someone, then another's presence will not bother you. Ruhaan serves the role of the catalyst. A catalyst that will break Mishti and Veer apart.

Think about the clubbing scene. They could have easily shown Veer being effected by another woman there but no he only had eyes for Mishti because he truly loves her and is secure in what he feels for her. Mishti is not. Is that fair to Veer? No. Will this break his heart? Definitely. I've never tried to justify Mishti or her feelings but that doesn't mean I dislike her for what she feels. No one forced Mishti to be with Veer; in fact, she's forced herself into a box. While I understand you can't root for her because of this heartbreak, I simply can't root against her. I'm liking all the characters and am hoping for a happy ending.

I do think the writers could have executed things better though I find myself giving them a leeway because they've been placed in a 3 month stint. Not to mention they have so many characters to focus on. I wish they would have condensed the amount of characters being shown but it would be unfair not to develop them.

Also, I must admit I am bias. The only actors I was familiar with were Aneri and Rohan but I was blown away by Teju and Kunal. I have never seen a show of theirs before and have found myself greatly enjoying their chemistry 😊

Fans demands also play a huge role in the rushing up I feel. When the writers are pestered by the fans to give certain scenes. So when the majority viewers wants certain things, for whom the story is written, they rush things up...

They honestly shouldn't have showed MishVeer as a happily betrothed couple... If it was a normal arranged marriage scenario, things would have been lot more different...

Bold@ It's not just their chemistry, as actors I find their performances really amazing, that I can connect to what the characters wanna portray, especially Ruhaan's feelings, his yearning, and now Mishti's inner struggle and her confused state.

When actors bring out such relatable performances it's easier to connect.

The show is definitely rushed; I won't counter that point. They've been given such a short time frame to tell such a complex story. I don't think the writers definition of true love is twisted but I do feel time is their biggest restraint.

Also - Mishti hadn't known Ruhaan before committing to Veer. She loves Veer but not with the same intensity. I see something more in Mishaan but I think that viewpoint varies from viewer to viewer so we'll have to agree to disagree.

Also - thank you for respectfully responding! Even though our opinions differ, It's nice to have a discussion without any bashing, judgements or personal attacks!

pari doesn't get bashed or receive as much hatred as mishty does in this forum ...it's very obvious. Day after day people make posts to bash mishty. Someone made a topic yesterday as well and it got closed by The moderators if I'm not mistaken. Many of us are neutral viewers ..I myself have never said anything negative about adult pari. BecAuse I like her..I love her bond with mishty and she clearly loves her sister . And I like mishty...she is the heroine...this show is about her love story and her finding her true love like Mauli said in the promo...And I see her as a young woman who made a mistake in thinking that a great guy is her great love,,because that's what it is ,..she mistook her liking of veer as love. And I think the makers will explain this in time ..we just need to be patient,,. it will be great if we could have some positive topics and posts about the characters...instead of this endless bashing of mishty,,, 😕

Leading on. Playing with someone s feelings. Pretending to be in love are all wrong. These are things which are done deliberately and in a calculated manner , with the person being aware of what she is doing.

What if the person is not aware that she is not genuinely in love, but thinks she is in love because the man in front of her is a perfect image of what she wants in a husband? What if she is in love with that image rather than the real person. What if her definition of love is itself screwed up?

That's what Mishti is doing I feel . She is not in love with Ruhaan either. She is still to understand what love is. That is what she will gradually learn .
