After seeing the last couple of promos and today's episode, I am completely frustrated by this show. I wasn't planning on watching Season 2 in the first place because of the disappointment of Season 1, but ended up watching for MauHaan fbs and because I was attached to the girls. Now I seriously regret this decision.
First of all, why the heck are there so many (4?) love triangles?!! There's the Veer-Mishti-Ruhaan triangle, the Mishti-Ruhaan-Pari triangle, the Ruhaan-Pari-Arnav triangle and most recently the Pari-Veer-Mishti triangle. I guess the writer is trying to add intrigue but honestly, I'm starting to get annoyed at the amount of time that is wasted because of characters just staring at each other. 😕
Also, I guess they're headed towards a MU between MishVeer, which I hate, I hope they're just open with one another.
Secondly, I don't like any of the boys (as love interests for MishRi) but I seriously dislike Arnav. At first his love for Pari was cute and I was hoping that they end up together but now he's just coming off as possessive. Not just that, he clearly doesn't care what/how Pari feels, he's just adamantly shoving his love in her face. That's not love. 🤢 And on top of that bua just keeps chadaoing him instead of acting like a mature adult. 🤢 Ruhaan is okay so far, but for some reason I just can't like him. He hasn't done anything wrong, but for some reason I can't bring myself to like him. I like Veer so far because he's a stable and put-together person, but his character needs to be developed more for me to be invested in him.
But the worst part of the episode was the flashback. I mean did they seriously have to kill all three adults off when the kids were so young? 😡 Ansh didn't even get to know his parents, to him they're just pictures on the wall. And Mauli never got to tell Mishti the full truth about the affair from her POV, and neither did Kunal get enough time to bond with Mishti. MauHaan weren't able to give their kids the values they lived their lives by. So stupid!
Also, we can see how severe the effect of the affair is on both girls, fair enough. But considering the fact that all 4 parents died so young, how come the girls don't have any fears about that? That should be a bigger trauma in their lives. The girls should realize how precious life is and how easily it can be lost. How come they don't worry about dying young?
The only ship I am on now is MishRi. They are so cute and have such a beautiful bond. And if I had to choose between the current options, I would hope that the endgame would be MishVeer and RiHaan.
