I don't know about other people so I can't speak for them... I speak for myself

When I am watching something I may like caricatures of a character but I don't pick up habits or put up my ethics or morals in a TV show to justify my life.

When I loved Professor Snape in Harry Potter, I never supported bullying or killing

When I loved Joker in batman, I did not support or feel the urge to achieve the sense of heartlessness that he had

When I loved Mahatma Gandhi in "Gandhi" I didn't become as good as he was

When I watched Naagin, I did not become a snake woman

When I watched vampire diaries, I didn't go hunting around for necks to suck

When I watch Mahadev Mythology show, I don't become Lord Shiva

I have the sense to understand difference between the real life and life of characters in my TV set, so when I like Kunal it does not mean I will cheat on my husband or I approve of it.

There can be different reasons for people to like different characters and I for one don't try to find life lessons in a TV or a movie show.

PS : I am just talking about myself

Ishaan is just a TV character, he maybe a part of their lives for some people but he is not important to me and I have been very clear from the beginning that I don't like him, you won't hear good about him from me because I don't think good about him. I prefer good characters and I just can't stand Gopi bahus with fountain in place of eyes

u didnt need to give so many examples.. i understand what u r saying..

i didnt say u need to become this or that to feel for that character..

even i said for myself and even for those who are emotionally invested in this show..

for me the show was always about morals and ethics..

kunan fans used to say "we watch only for entertainment and chemistry and acting" , i debated there . same song was sung by maunal fans who themselves used to mock kunan fans that time.. and i debated this time also..

people watch for different reasons..

maine to ishaan se , mauli se dil lagaya hai. so i cant help it .. whenever mauli or ishaan is bashed for the reasons which i find inappropriate i will debate/discuss..

i dont want u to like him. there is no need !

u prefer good character like kunal over ishaan , but the point is the character u think is good may not be that good for others..

hence the debate is ON..

u can defend ur good character if u want..

on a side note -- i wish ishaan had cried like gopi bahu 😆 ab tak mauli ko le jata..

kambhakat selfless hai , bechara nahi..

bechara banta to shayad sympathy bhi milti..

Wanted to comment yesterday, but was in a rush. Few things I'd like to point out here.

When Kunal said he was willing to forgive Mauli's indiscretion, it was so funny. 😆 Back when Mauli was willing to take back Kunal after Dida drama preleap, she had not put in a clause - you cheated, I cheated, we are equal, so let us get back together. 😆

Kunal called out the names of his Princess Pari and as an afterthought Mishti too, in the version that I saw Pari hugged Kunal and Mishti hugged Mauli. I might have missed out a small part where both the children hugged Kunal.

The famous kya kar rahe ho Kunal!

My SIL interchanges the names of her son and my husband (her younger brother) when she scolds either of them. That's because she has similar feelings and feels the same authority with both of them. Kya kar rahe Ho Kunal just shows Mauli has become as familiar with Ishaan as she was with Kunal. All Mauli wellwishers can rest easy. 😉

I want Maunal shippers to explain this. As Kunal was coming out of the memory loss, when he had visions of Nandini , he started shouting at Mauli that she had tricked him with her pregnancy to keep Nandini away from him. He was still defending Nandini . Where does Nandini and Mauli stand for him?

I supported Maunal but I m not s Shakti fan. Infact I had watched 2-3 episodes of his previous show. Had watched KM in bidaai n naagin 2...

I feel it's not even abt actors fan base, it's abt different perspectives, that's it.

Bashed Kunal for months, supporting when he is not wrong = Shakti fan

Why don't you let me decide if I want to be someone's fan or not, you can decide "The truth" for yourself
