Every addicted person usually thinks its their right, emotion , ethics...but still government hangs the drug lords and send all the addicteds to either prison or rehab or mental asylum. 😆

Devdas died in addiction and in original story...Paru never came. 😆

I'm by no means against Mauli falling in love with Ishaan, but it's not compulsion as well according to me.. Now coming to kunal even if she loves here too there isn't compulsion for her to be with him ..
I'm really interested in my third point that's freedom and why is it a taboo ?

Mauli and kunal for example can love each other but due to their history they may choose to not unite.. .They may choose to stay and live a free life and be friends and be there for their kids . .

If Mauli loves Ishaan there is no discussion only...As emotionally and ethically it's right .

Wah!!!
Kya likha hai bitiya *Weeping* 🤗

Are we discussing this in the context of the show or generally?

Generally - Morals and ethics are different for different people, it depends upon how it is affecting you, if you think something is wrong you would never do it, if you do it even if you know that what you are doing is wrong then the guilt will weigh you down... Smokers don't smoke thinking it's wrong, people who think smoking is wrong, don't do it... I believe in giving people the freedom of choice to do what they want to do as long as they are not breaking laws or hurting people... If you want to smoke, do it but in smoking zone and make sure people around you are not affected by it... Everyone should be allowed the freedom to do what they want to with their body, it's their life... But make sure your actions are not hurting people around you...

In SBRK - I don't think ethics and morals are issues in this show, it was an EMA story, now it's a love triangle, it's upto Mauli to decide what she wants in her life..
If I was in similar situation... I'd rather stay single than marry Ishaan or Kunal...but that's me

Shukriya Shukriya Shukriya it's a general question actually but with perfect to the situations described in show...

So true with whatever you said and couldn't agree more

Love is something according to me doesn't come with any set of rules just like life...

A person who loves smoking will not be worried about addiction,a person who knows it's Ill effects won't smoke.. At times a person knowing smoking is dangerous too consumes it.. Choices..

PS cigarettes and drugs are two different things.. .Drug addicts or seller are different from smokers. Hope u know

Addiction is not a choice, it's a disease, disease is not ethically or morally wrong...

Drug dealers are involved in illegal dealing of illegal drugs, that's why they are punished, it's not about ethics, it's criminally wrong...

Maunal will be considered as drugs or cigarette? I think drugs...burned once will keep burning as in amnesia also Kunal shamelessly , crazily, madly, deeply addicted to Nadu.
Nesha Kunal ka toot na chahiye. Mauli was always an object here as Kunal left her...not she. I don't know why Dida used her demag to remind Mauli? She should invest her energy to make Kunal understand at that time then make Mauli understand. As still now he is there where he left Mauli. Nothing changed and nothing will be changed. As payar dewana hota hai, mastana hota hai...and Kunal's crazy love is only Nandu. You call it cigarrette or marizuana. ...it's Nandu. Mauli can beg for him...which she already did...but Bahgwan Kunal will never give her...as his jazbat is Nandu.
