Girls , I couldn't watch the episode till now. I had to put off some fires at work and I think we have effectively stamped them out🤔
I enjoyed all opinions expressed in this post and agreed with most of them. I don't know how you girls are all keeping the positivity going. With a handful of episodes remaining, I decided to stick with it, even though I am disappointed.
I agree with some of you who said Kunal's behaviour is idiotic, he is coming across as somebody very cheap with an extreme verbal diarrhea👎🏼 By thinking that he is taunting or putting out snide remarks at Ishaan, he is becoming somebody who people don't want to associate with. I still don't understand the purpose why Kunal is being made intolerable, With the attitude he is portraying, his end can't be good from what I see. I mean, I can't see Mauli having a normal life with this Kunal, even if she gets back with him, that is, who is doubting her for no solid reason.
In other words, apart from a few attributes such as physical abuse, this guy is almost comparable to Rajdeep. This guy is suffocating Mauli just as Rajdeep did. The means may be different, but the effects are almost the same. He is holding her on a tight leash, following her, keeping tabs of her coming and going, putting her on the spot, taunting/mocking her, emotionally blackmailing her ( begging her not to leave him, betray him etc. ), crosschecking what she is saying, checking for her reactions etc.. etc...
The whole Malhotra clan has lost it. I am going to give benefit of doubt to Mishti, because I love this little girl. She is a 6 year old child, who is being emotionally manipulated by dida, the lure of family. To some extent, I understand generational thinking of dida who is only making sure that the family portrait looks good, rather than really looking at what goes on in a dysfunctional family. We all have a grandparent who might have done this, who would ask peopld to suck it up and stay together with your spouse, otherwise log kya kya bolenge. She is covering up the whole, entire nonsense of EMA, the pain, insult, humiliation, betrayal and the crushing of self esteem with some pseudo intellectual/philosophical explanation that fidelity, dependability, self esteem, self worth don't mean anything in the face of love😡👎🏼 Wrong, totally wrong. She wouldn't have been giving these kind of lectures if Nandini didn't die or if Kunal never came back out of his necessity. She also wouldn't have been able to give this gyan if she and Radhika had to face the music of having to live life unsupported by Mauli, if they had to face hardships of having to financially support themselves😭 Not that I want them to suffer because of their insolent son😭. But just saying, we would be in a totally different situation if that were the case. She wouldn't have been in this position of distributing her gyan if Mauli put her foot down about " helping Kunal" and / or if Ishaan decided to let her take that decision and remained hands off about helping Pari😭 She is forgetting all of that, because she is on a high ground now and she wants to pull her family together ashore and kick off Ishaan into the deep while doing that😡 I am utterly disappointed with her, nonetheless.
Ishaan, the epitome of class🤗❤️ and composure. The guy is a ROCK ( diamond is also a rock, just saying😉 ). He took all the stupid taunts without even batting an eyelid, defended Mauli's integrity and his own love for her, didn't let himself get humiliated and walked off with his head held high, completely together still👍🏼 His magnanimity shows in his explicit understanding of her majboori, at the same time not making her the guilty party👍🏼 Who doesn't want this guy? In the end, despite Kunal's nonsense spewing out of his garbage mouth, Ishaan took the high road to pay for the food and drink he is eating while doing his histrionics and walked away❤️ Guys, I wish I can do this as coolly as Ishaan did, when I am meeting with certain people
Mauli, I am not liking her portrayal as a helpless person. She is fierce in defending people she loves or people who depend on her. But here, she is letting Ishaan take the fall for no clear reason. I don't want to say anything else🤢 Simply put, I am disappointed with her👎🏼
But the way, the actor is portraying Kunal, there is something very odd. There is a crazed, an almost rabid expression to this guy for the last 2 days which makes me feel that he is heading towards a bad end🤢 Not sure if the expressions are off or if that is what he is trying to portray.
