well they know kunal is alive in the script so they give cold reaction to this sequence...furthermore they have not seen his body to have a complete breakdown...the real breakdown will happen in the hospital when he is really fighting for his life...struggling with death...when you see loved one struggling life n death situation even if the person was absent in your life...it breaks you down completely..totally...the one min of his heart breathe but he is not awaken...thats when it triggers your feeling...death is ultimate end...once funeral n prayers done...move on in life...the real pain is when you see the man you loved dying infront of your eyes...he looks at you one last time before closing his eyes forever...the questions...the answers...the apologies...the memories of togetherness one last time...that breaks you than the cold sequence they showed on friday...i did not get touched by anything...except for kids one has accepted her father died...the other wants to meet her father and thank him...that breaks my heart

regards to move on...she seems robotic as if she is dead n lifeless and that smile doesn't seem genuine to me at least
😆...she need someone to tell her pick up calls...it can be emergency...that shows how she moved on...being in robotic mode...everyone press the remote control and she moves...thats her moving on...sorry i don't relate to this mauli at all...she is adjusting with the situation rather than moving on...she was forced by kunal...this was the same women who went for emergencies during her anniversary in the middle of a passionate moment with her husband even post-leap she was normal...until kunal drama happened

hahaha...that's a nice way of looking at things when the CVs make no sense but somehow I feel they did make each of these people react like this deliberately. If everyone was fainting and collapsing who would handle whom? I feel its the kids who have been given importance in this track.

Makes sense. She is immune to the void of him in her life. Mauli even felt bad for Nandini's death and cried for her fate.. as a human she was ryt..I guess kunal is falling for her again...let's c what's in store..

Paris reaction was normal..and Mauli was also, shaken and sad. But she's not going to cry histerically,..she is not kunals wife ..her relationship with him ended a long time ago and she's moved on with Ishaan . So I think everyone was on par with their emotions. This family is not a loud ott family..we can't expect loud hysterics from them...but they were all sad and broken about his death ..

I felt the same way.The funerals I attended in real life are like this. Loved ones cry, mourn, prepare for the rituals, mourn, get done with the rituals, mourn. People who lose someone close to their heart live with that pain but carry on with their lives. One loved one passes away but others remain who need them and they run to the call of duty. Rituals are arranged immediately following deaths and no one can ever be found in the same clothes as the one they were wearing when they heard of the news of death. People take shower, wear what needs to be worn, complete all rituals needed for the peace of the soul of the bereaved person and carry on with their lives. Some cry themselves to sleep, some cry at random times, some cry when memories strike them and this goes on for days or months. But the death and the hours following the death and the reaction of everyone seemed quite real to me.

@bold...exactly...it was dedicated to the kids and pari-mauli bonding...thus for me the epi was cold in terms of emotions from the adults...it was the kids who stole the show...

it was heartbreaking to see one daughter of kunal's accepted the fact that her father died becos the incident happen right infront of her eyes...she is traumatized but the girl is super strong and accepted the fate..kunal has done a great job in terms of pari

the other daughter of kunal is slowly getting attached to her father...making thank you card just to thank him...yearning to see and hug him unknown to the fact that the emotions that she has for that santa who fulfill her wish..who is her father is no more in the world...thats truly heartbreaking...the precap was even cruel that she knows nothing abt her father's death and what she saw give her the shock of the life seeing her father's garland pic...no daughters should go through what pari-mishti going through at the moment

for me...it was the kids...their emotions for their father was so pure n beautiful that it melt my eyes...

thats what i have been saying and you guys feel its normal emotions😆...its one of the most stupidest epi i have ever seen..furthermore they did not find kunal body and so they accepted and these are the people who gave birth to him😡...6 yrs absence in one's life doesn't mean there is no emotions left..for a parent 6 yrs or 10 yrs...they will always love their kid and yearn to see their kid...breaking down for me its not that important...this show was always abt breakdown or confrontation and i am bored of ir...but emotions should be felt...how come the kids emotions touched me when they are in their own world regards to their father while the adults knows the truth abt their son n ex and i felt their emotions were cold...at least i can give brownie point to mauli as she needs to take care of pari, she knows that pari has noone in the world except for her buddy but the folks

Such a long post, I am sorry I couldn't read every paragraph, my post was from a perspective that Mauli loves Kunal, what they have shown us in episodes is that Kunal worked day and night to make sure Mauli hates him, he even helped Ishaan in manipulating Mauli into thinking that she loves him, it has been roughly a few weeks, how do you not break down when someone you loved 2 weeks ago is dead?
I don't get this, moving on is fine and welcome but feelings don't die, you just don't love someone with the same intensity...

So I gave 4 theories on why Mauli's reaction was so stale and I picked the 4th one, I don't think anyone's reaction apart from Pari suggested someone like Kunal is dead, Dida cried a few days ago when Mauli asked him whether she will pick her or Kunal, I don't think her reaction then was any different than her reaction on Kunal's death, writer didn't give them a proper scene to perform...
A single episode without Kunal in it gets less than 100k views, they don't want to stretch the whole funeral and not show him in episodes..

It's obvious that Kunal and Mauli are the ones who bring in views. They have one of the finest chemistry I have seen on not just ITV but TV in general and I absolutely loved the initial episodes of this show! But the writing is not consistent though,it has never been, they made Kunal turn 180 degrees when he acted on his attraction towards Nandini and started the affair and he did a whole 360 degree when he left his family for Nandini and post-leap he seems to be a different character again!I felt Shakti needed a break for 2/3 days and they somehow thought this track would work given that Pari would know the truth but not ask for justification,Mishti's and Mauli's feelings would come to surface, all with this one track.

But the CVs of this show have never really been consistent with the characters, have they?Radhika seemed peculiar to me even in the EMA track where she not once talked to Kunal about what he was doing, not once ask him what he expected to achieve by doing all this etc.For the current track,I felt more like Shakti needed a break for two three days and they thought this track would be a perfect excuse for that:Pari would not be asking questions although she heard snippets of the truth now when he returns,Mishti's feelings would be highlighted,Mauli would put her new-found family secondary and pay more attention to Kunal and his family hence clarifying her stance and opening Ishan's eyes to her feelings for Kunal.Hence, they did not invest much on this episode except focusing on the kids.
