Kunal is doing this for Mishti. Mishti wants her Popsie to be Papa which can happen if Mouli marries Ishaan. That's his main concern and atleast how CVs have put it in today's episode i think.

But there needs to be better way than this. I don't like this slap thing too, can't they show any other way to make Mouli hate him if that's the track they want to go for.

Can we even imagine Mauli and Kunal living under the same roof as a family again with their kids? I just can't digest that thought.
